"Overall, I was satisfied with the value for money. The location wasn't bad either, which was great because I could get around Brisbane to the city center and main attractions without worrying about transportation costs. The room was cleaner than I expected, and most importantly, it was convenient to connect my phone to the TV to watch shows. Cable TV worked well too. All in all, it's not a super luxurious hotel, but for this price, it's a perfectly satisfying place to stay!"

"Unfortunately, my 7-night stay at Point Hotel Brisbane was far from satisfactory.
The housekeeping was particularly disappointing. During my entire stay, the floor in my room was not vacuumed. There was also hair left in the shower drainage area that was not cleared. When I approached the housekeeping staff at my level’s lift lobby and asked for my room to be cleaned, I was told, “I am not in charge of the other rooms.” This was not the level of service I expected from a hotel.
There were also several maintenance issues. The balcony door was faulty, which was serious enough that I requested a change of room. The appliances in the room appeared old and poorly maintained — the kettle was leaking and the safe was not working. Tea and sugar , tissue paper were also not replenished daily, soiled towels not cleared
To make matters worse, there were massive renovations taking place during my stay, which caused considerable inconvenience and disruption.
On a positive note, Ruby and Vlad were the only staff members who were genuinely helpful and attentive, and I appreciate their assistance."

Guest UserThe hotel has great floor-to-ceiling window views. If you contact them in advance, they can even make up the sofa bed for you. There's a tram stop right downstairs, and it's only 500 meters to a large Woolworths supermarket, 800 meters to Coles, and 500 meters to the main bustling commercial street. The dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, oven, microwave, and fridge are all fully equipped.
The only downside is that there's no daily housekeeping, and most of the power outlets on the living room wall were broken.

Location: Peaceful surroundings with beautiful views, and conveniently close to shopping centers, theme parks, and a variety of dining options.
Room Facilities: Clean, spacious rooms with all the essentials, including refrigerators, microwaves, and comfortable beds. Great value for an affordable stay.
Dining Experience: The on-site restaurant provides a pleasant dining experience with a scenic waterfront view.
Guest Suggestion: Keep in mind that daily room service, towels, and toiletries come at an additional cost, even for extended stays. You get exactly what you pay for.

Guest UserThe hotel is a 15-20 minute walk from the pier. They don't provide bottled water, and there's no facility to get drinkable water, so you'll need to buy your own from the supermarket. Drying clothes on the balcony is prohibited, so bring extra swimsuits or a portable drying device. The shower easily wets the bathroom floor.

SimarulongThe location is great, just a 1-minute walk from the light rail station. I had to change rooms once because, even though the first room had lovely warm sunlight, it was too close to the road and very noisy. After communicating with the front desk through my program, I was moved to the other side. The front desk attendant was a very polite, handsome young Chinese-Indonesian man.
The room was quite large and relatively clean, with daily housekeeping. There were also two complimentary bottles of water. However, the 'sea view room' wasn't really a sea view room; 80% of it didn't offer a sea view, and I could only glimpse 20% of the sea through a small gap. It's better than nothing, I suppose. But it was the cheapest hotel I stayed at during my 10 days in Queensland, and it included breakfast, so it was still a good value for money.

Guest UserGot the room at a discounted rate hence I presumed i was allocated a low level which was facing the back(car park lot) which had absolutely no views at all.
Front desk Service was attentive and friendly. Gym facility was decently stocked up with equipments however bear in mind, the facilities are shared with actual residents of the apartment as well. Loved the complimentary laundry on level3. Would definitely be back but would recommend staying on higher floors.

Guest UserI have stayed in this hotel four times, there is something not right almost every time. One time there's no hot water in the washing basin but shower is alright. One time there is a leak in the shower head, this time the temperature in the shower keeps fluctuating, halfway it suddenly gets too hot, then it gets too cold, it changed three times during the shower. I don't know whether it's lack of maintenance or there's some problems in their piping system. I gave them the feedback, they apologised but I keep having new problem every time. I don't think I am going to stay there anymore.

Anonymous UserA decent, established 4-star hotel. It boasts an excellent location, right in the heart of the Gold Coast, very close to the beach and public transport. This makes it convenient for dining, shopping, and visiting attractions. The rooms are quite spacious, clean, and tidy, though the ocean view rooms don't directly face the beach and have some obstructions. The breakfast spread is quite generous. The only downside is that the facilities are a bit old. Overall, it's still a good value-for-money option in this area.

I had a wonderful stay here! The location was very convenient, and the facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was comfortable throughout my stay. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely stay again next time I visit Bangkok. Highly recommended!

The hotel's location is super convenient! It's right off the main street, close to the pool, and a short walk to the ocean and beach. Highly recommend! The room was also clean and comfortable, and the facilities were excellent. Thumbs up! 👍🏻
