Hotel near Edgbaston,Birmingham

The hotel was very clean and staff were helpful and friendly. We struggled to find anywhere close to where we wanted to be which is the only reason I’ve marked down location, but would be ideal if you were visiting the uni. Breakfast was very nice.

Convenient if you are attending an hour event or conference in Birmingham ( it is way cheaper) Very basic in every way but it did for me . Birmingham is only 15 mins approx away. The hotel is being refurbished and repainted so the place does look a bit disheveled. Very basic food- evening meal and breakfast but was ok for a one night stay. I would book again because so close to Birmingham but much cheaper.

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve stayed at this hotel. Whenever there’s a room available, it’s always my first choice in Coventry. The location is perfect — right inside the University of Warwick, just a 10-minute drive from the city centre. It offers free parking

It was a very nice and modern hotel with a large room and comfortable bed. The use of the spa was complimentary with the room and we were very impressed. There is a bar and restaurant onsite and although service at times was slow (but it was busy) the food was delicious and reasonably priced. My only downside was that there was no hairdryer but other than that all that was provided was very good.

I stayed here at the end of May 2025 as a solo traveller. Quiet location with buildings in very nice landscaped grounds. All areas of the hotel I experienced were spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive in all areas at all times. Bed was comfy and room facilities all I needed. Would happily stay here again.

Came a long way to stay for couple of days for a wedding. Big reunion w some friends from around the globe. Pros: Hotel is at the great location. Lots of food option at Touchwood Mall opposite the hotel. Hotel food are quite reasonable too. Staffs at the lounge & breakfast are Fantastic. They are friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and bed are comfy. Cons: Reception should be better. We were attended by Josh during check in and he is not friendly and helpful when few enquiry asked. A friend of mine (a couple) was assigned to a room which AC wasn’t working. And when asked for a room changed, he said its not available. He mentioned that it was an ongoing problem and offered them a fan instead. How is that possible they are still selling a dysfunctional room to a guest when they know its an issue! But if they want an upgrade, they can but they have to pay £13!! I think its bizarre! My friends was stucked to the same room till the end of her stay w a FAN! Overall I am happy with the stay but i need to rant about the room assignment. Its common sense.

GGuest UserAll staff were excellent always very helpful, facilities need refreshing hotel needs sprucing up, gym equipment tired and ripped Pool small. Chairs in the bar area either dirty or broken, very busy hotel trying to be too many things to too many people. Tried to book Spa on Saturday or Sunday both full. Breakfast basic to say the least. It was a shame, as once again the staff made our stay.

GGuest UserIt was okay. The TV was quite big, and the water pressure in the shower was good. The twin beds were also very large, which was comfortable. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the train station. Since I arrived at night and it was raining, I had some trouble finding my way.

KK2_travel_aroundThe hotel room is spacious and comfortable, the facilities are a bit dated but there is no difficulty in using them properly. From my 4th floor room I can see part of the Coventry Transport Museum building, which is nice. It may take a while for the TV to be switched on, though. The bed is large and comfortable and the room is quiet at night, so I have a good night sleep. Tips: Prepare your own toothbrush, toothpaste and shower wash when you spend the night here. The hotel is very close to the Pool Meadow Bus Station, the main street and other tourist attractions so it's very convenient.

GGuest UserGood room, plenty of space and storage pleasant staff, adequate breakfast, easy walk into centre. Hotel private parking not so easy to see entrance to and pricing on booking platform listed incorrectly as far cheaper than it actually was. The small Ringo car park opposite the Hotel entrance has very cheap 24 hour rate.

GGuest UserThe hotel is well located in the town centre within walking distance of Snow Hill train station. The hotel seems to be sound proofed as you cannot hear the traffic as the hotel is on the main road. The price was very good £156 for 3 nights including breakfast. I would definitely recommend.

GGuest UserFirstly, the staff we encountered were lovely, very accommodating and helpful. The reception entrance was promising, being bright and modern with a very pleasant receptionist and smooth check in. However, our room lacked appeal, comfort or anything that made one wish to stay in it for longer than a night. To be fair, we were asked twice on check in, if we would like to move to a different floor. I jokingly asked if there was a problem with the room we'd been allocated but was told no. We were allocated Room 7. Whilst it appeared clean to the best the facilities allowed, it was unpleasant. The bottom of the bathroom door appeared water damaged and rotten. The sink was cracked. The radiator was rusted by urine splashes as situated beside the toilet and the shower was situated in a recess with no curtain or screen, so quickly spilled on to the floor making the bath mat soaked. The lock on the bathroom door didn't work. There was no hair dryer. Only one USB point within the very small TV which only charged if it was on. Being on the ground floor, our window opened out on to the narrow walk way and one poor man walked into it on his way to reception. SatNav instructions take you to a dead end further down the road and several attempts at finding our way around the God awful roundabout eventually led us to a very small parking area at the front of the hotel. Breakfast at 9.00 pm was initially disappointing. One plate was available, no bread for the toaster, no milk for the cereals. One sausage, no beans, no bacon. More food did eventually appear, as did plates, and it was very nice. The croissants and pastries were lovely too. The coffee machine was good. As mentioned, the staff were very good and we requested an iron which was bought to us quickly with a board by a lovely young man. The bed was awful. Rock hard and not much comfort from a meagre duvet that was so thin that initially we thought it had been forgotten. Anyway, one night, cheap and basic. Served its purpose but would look elsewhere and pay more. Think we were just unlucky.

MM484733****The room was great, and the service was excellent. It was very comfortable, and I'll definitely choose this place first next time. The food was also good, everything was great, and the view was beautiful. The staff had a wonderful attitude too. Honestly, the new environment really enhanced my travel experience.
