FarhanaZulWe recently stayed at Montigo Resorts Nongsa to celebrate my birthday, and it turned out to be a memorable experience.
To our surprise, the resort gave us a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful three-storey villa, complete with two bedrooms, a spacious living area on the ground floor, and rooftop access on the top level. It was a lovely gesture that made my birthday feel even more special. We were also treated to a complimentary birthday cake, which was delicious and greatly appreciated.
A special mention goes to the staff, who were consistently friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay. Their warm hospitality and attentiveness contributed greatly to the overall experience.
The resort itself is a great place if you're looking for a relaxing getaway where you can spend most of your time within the property. The villas are spacious, private, and perfect for unwinding.
One area that could be improved is the buggy service. While the staff were helpful, waiting times could sometimes range from 15 to 20 minutes even during our off-peak stay. I can imagine the wait may be even longer during peak periods, so increasing the frequency of buggies would certainly enhance the guest experience.
Do note that the resort is located about 30 minutes from Batam city centre, where most of the shopping malls and restaurants are. If you're planning to explore the city frequently, this is something worth considering.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated the thoughtful birthday surprises. The villa upgrade, birthday cake, and excellent service made the occasion extra special, and we would definitely consider returning for another relaxing getaway.

Good location with many food options nearby. Walking distance to Nagoya Hill Mall. Breakfast is superb, delicious local tastes. The room is clean but lacks amenities, especially hand towels and hairdryers.

Rohana SolehahOur stay at Natra Bintan was such an amazing experience for us as a couple 🤍
We decided to go on a weekday, and honestly that was the best decision because the whole place felt so peaceful, calm, and private. The atmosphere was very relaxing with beautiful views and a quiet environment perfect for escaping from busy routines and spending quality time together.
From the moment we arrived, the service was really good. The staff were all very friendly, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel welcomed and comfortable all the time. Check-in was smooth, the room was clean and cozy, and everything was well prepared for guests.
What we loved most was the overall vibe of the resort. It’s not just about the stay, but the feeling you get there slow mornings, relaxing walks, enjoying the lagoon view, and having peaceful moments together without rushing anything. It truly felt like a short healing trip for both of us ✨
Definitely recommended for couples who want a romantic, relaxing, and peaceful getaway. We would love to come back again someday 🤍

Egy MuWonderful moments celebrating my birthday on the stunning Bintan Island in Indonesia—a true slice of paradise. This beautiful destination is conveniently accessible with a 75-minute ferry ride from Tanah Merah, Singapore 🇸🇬, or a 20-minute trip from the Telaga Punggur ferry terminal in Batam to Tanjung Uban, as well as a 60-minute journey from Tanjung Pinang Island.
During our delightful seven-night stay, we truly appreciated the warm hospitality we received. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
Thank you, Bintan, for the unforgettable memories!

Sumi BeenThe hotel is clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay here. The lobby is very bright and spacious. There is also an Indomaret just around a 2-minute walk from the hotel, which is very convenient. Even though there are not many food places or restaurants nearby, it was not a problem for us since we were using a motorbike.

mr_alok”Great Resort, Great Service”
Okay first thing, yes, it is far. Like 1.5 hours from BBT ferry terminal. But shared transport is provided (with a cold towel, cookie and water bottle), so honestly it's fine. You just sit back and by the time you arrive you've mentally switched off from everything anyway.
Check-in was really smooth. No queue at the counter. While you sit down at the lobby, a welcome drink and cold towel is provided together with the check-in formalities. That already felt different. And the staff throughout the stay were just... on it. I genuinely didn't need to call for anything. Whatever I expected to find in the room, it was there. Buggy service is available until 11 pm, and is available promptly the moment you call them.
The suite itself was excellent. Huge outdoor balcony with two sets of sitting area. A hammock is also provided to relax in a lazy afternoon. Inside the room, a solid wood bed frame, with a comfortable mattress and clean sheets. They give you both hard and soft pillows which I always appreciate. A large work table/chair is behind the bed. It also includes fast charging ports (nice touch). TV is equipped with Google TV kind of device with familiar remote. Room was well stocked with four water bottles, wine and drink glasses, coffee/tea cups, minibar with most common drinks stacked (not complimentary). Small thing but they forgot spoons for the coffee/tea. Didn't ruin anything but I noticed.
The bathroom was big and clean with his/hers sink. All necessary amenities are of good quality. However, the shower area is a bit cramped as it is next to the bathtub. As such it wets the entire area. Even if you put floor towel, it eventually gets drenched too.
Breakfast was great. Open air setting with nice spread - good fresh fruits, salads, local dishes, breads, bread spreads, coffee/tea together with kopi and teh as well. Dinner was also delicious with prompt room service. Only thing is the kitchen stops at 9:30pm which is a bit early, especially when you are on vacation. Not a dealbreaker but worth knowing if you're a late eater like me.
Most of the info is shared via WhatsApp- shuttle times, checkout info, all sent through without me having to chase anyone. Simple but effective.
Each villa is provided with two bikes (his and hers) which was fun, especially since the area is quite spread out.
Though something could be improved:
The pool is honestly too small. Cannot accommodate even 25% of guests. And the main beach is very small and with only two chairs. That's it. For a place sitting right on the water, I expected more there.
Coffee pods in the room were really bad. Everything else in the room was good quality so this just stood out. Swap the pods, it's an easy fix.
I informed them in advance that we are celebrating our wedding anniversary. But it was completely ignored. Forget about flowers, not even a little card. That genuinely upset me. It's the kind of thing that would've made the stay really special and they just dropped the ball completely.
Despite that, I'd still recommend it. The food is solid, the service is good, the room is comfortable and it's a genuinely peaceful place to be. And if you're celebrating something, maybe follow up more than once to make sure they actually action it.

Dean StantonAsialink Hotel by Prasanthi is my favourite hotel in Batam. By a considerable margin.
Best described as ”luxury boutique”, the management team and staff have perfected the art of hospitality here.
I and my partner can find nothing to fault, from the quality of the welcome to the beautiful pool to the plentiful, varied and high quality breakfast buffet.

This was the best place nearby to SGP to enjoy a Getaway without too heavy pricetag.
Best Value for money, Great staff from housekeeping, to spa, to recep & waitering team.
Friendly & helpful, the rooms were clean & good sized, well ammenitized, good facilities
and generous breakfast spread. No pesty insects, but breezy rooms to enjoy fuss-free vacay
definitely will return to stay again.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is its greatest advantage and was the main reason I chose to stay here. Overall, my experience was excellent. The service was attentive, and the food was of a high standard.
I have a couple of suggestions that could further enhance the guest experience. Room 119 could be converted into a fitness room, as the hotel currently does not have a gym. Since the room is at ground level, the curtains cannot be fully opened without compromising guests' privacy, as people walking past can easily see inside.
Additionally, offering an in-room massage service would be a valuable amenity and would provide greater convenience for guests looking to relax during their stay.

Guest UserRequested for a higher floor away from the bar but got a room on the 6th floor, just right above the bar on the 3rd floor. Rooms are not sound proof so we could hear the bar playing music till midnight plus we can hear sounds from the other room when walking in the corridor. On our last day we decided to have the hotel breakfast and the live meat grilling station started producing a lot of smoke, making the entire hotel lobby choked up with smoke due to poor ventilation. Had to shift outdoors to continue our meal. Location is also far from most attractions but it was not much of a problem since grab rides are easily available an affordable.
