"First, our request for a high floor was kindly accommodated—we were given room 11825 on the 18th floor, which features panoramic ocean views and elegant interiors. Many thanks to your team for that. In fact, my wife has a special request: could we please have this same room every time we stay at Dorsett? Second, the thoughtful gesture of a card, chocolate, and a bottle of wine for our special occasion truly showed how much effort your team puts into making guests feel valued. Third, both my wife and our child absolutely loved the pool and jacuzzi at Star Grand. So overall, our stay was amazing, to say the least. But none of this would be possible without first acknowledging your wonderful hotel staff. You probably see hundreds of guests each day, yet you still take a personalized approach—staying in touch with each guest and understanding their individual needs. Honestly, I hope other hotels will follow your example and make this the gold standard for excellence in customer service. Our last two hotel bookings through Trip.com were disappointing, but fortunately, your hotel never lets us down. The gold-accented interiors are striking and have become a signature look of your hotel. We’ll remember them just as fondly as we remember landing at Singapore Changi Airport. We recently bought a new house and have been decorating with gold-colored furniture from Koala Living. After staying with you, we’ve realized that our inspiration was inadvertently drawn from your hotel rooms. We come to Dorsett every year and have never been disappointed. We look forward to returning again soon."

VVignesh PWe had a great stay at Paradise Hotel on the Gold Coast. The staff kindly upgraded our room, which gave us a beautiful river view — such a nice surprise. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our stay. Parking was also convenient and easy to access, which made everything much more relaxing. Overall, a really enjoyable experience and we would happily stay again.

GGuest UserSurfers Beach Holiday Apartments was a great place to stay for our family. The management was helpful. Rooms were of a good size. The location is quiet. It is a easy walk to catch the G:tram. This makes getting to Surfers Paradise or other locations easy. Riding the G is also much cheaper and easier than trying to find parking for the car. While we were there, there were few people using the pool. Our grandkids had a great time... and mostly had the pool to themselves. I didn't realize there wasn't an elevator.(My fault for not checking.) Being on the third floor normally wouldn't have been an issue. Because of health issues for one of our family members, it would have been easier if we had been on a lower floor. If I had contacted the management when booking they said they would have tried to give us a lower floor. It's a great place and I highly recommend it.

XXuanxuanbutinghuaThe hotel's front desk service was quite good; they even gave a small gift once they knew I was a Marriott Platinum member. The room was a bit damp, but clean enough. It's great for kids; we spent three days enjoying the hotel's beach and pool and didn't even want to go out. While the amenities can't compare to a water park, they were still very good. We'll definitely go back. The hotel breakfast was decent, just a bit crowded, so you had to queue.

MMs.LinchetaThe location is pretty good, and the hotel facilities are decent. There are some flying insects on the open-air balcony, but that's unavoidable by the sea. The pool is a bit basic, and you need to bring your own towel. The front desk staff were very friendly, but the restaurant staff were a bit lacking. I was treated like an outsider just for taking a couple of photos after sitting down, which wasn't very welcoming. Good thing I had my room key! 😂 I reported it to the front desk and they promptly addressed it. It's very convenient to watch the sunrise right from the room.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel boasts a fantastic location, right downstairs from the night market. Their beef noodles are a real highlight, providing comfort for Chinese palates. The hotel's convenient location also means it's just a 10-minute walk to the cruise terminal and very close to the waterfront promenade, which is great for a stroll. The hotel's own bar is super chill, with live music in the evenings – perfect for a drink and a chat.

GGuest UserThis hotel was conveniently located, making it a great base for sightseeing. Having a supermarket on the first floor and many dining options nearby was incredibly helpful during our stay. The tram station was also close by, making it easy to get around. The room was spacious, more than enough for a couple, which made our stay feel a bit luxurious. The view was good, and having a pool was a nice bonus. While I felt the cost performance was a bit high, there might be a range of prices depending on the room type and floor. On the other hand, the sound of traffic was a minor issue in our 16th-floor room (river-facing). Also, the air conditioning was a bit inconvenient as it could only be used in either the living room or the bedroom, requiring a switch. The washing machine worked fine, but I couldn't figure out how to use the gas stove, so a simple explanation would have been appreciated. It was also a slight disappointment that the indirect lighting (a larger lamp) couldn't be used. The reception staff were courteous, and it was a great help that they stored our luggage. They provided extra towels when requested. Overall, I think this is a highly satisfying hotel for those who prioritize location, room spaciousness, and cost performance.

TTuaichixiaodantaThe famous Q1 Apartment Hotel, though a bit old, is quite well-maintained. This room type features a large bedroom facing the sea, and two small spa beds, feeling spacious enough for 3-4 people. The location is superb, right next to the Surfers Paradise light rail, conveniently close to restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets. It's a 5-minute walk to the beach, and the entrance to the Q1 SkyPoint Observation Deck is right downstairs. The Gold Coast on a good day is absolutely stunning! The in-room facilities are complete, but the service attitude and efficiency are average; late check-out isn't an option. However, for this price and location, I can't really ask for more.
