Hotels With Bars in Jeju Province, South Korea

The hotel's facilities and services are great. It would be perfect if the cleanliness could be improved, but for over 300 a night, I can't really ask for too much. The sunset over the sea right outside the hotel is absolutely stunning; definitely make sure to set aside some time to enjoy it.

The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from the airport. There's a bus stop right outside, and the 202 bus makes it easy to explore the west side of the city at a leisurely pace. Upon check-in, we received two complimentary coffees. I absolutely loved the hotel's coffee shop and the walking path outside by the pool – the endless glass-like sea views were incredibly therapeutic! I'll definitely be back if I get the chance.

The hotel is located in a resort, a bit far from the city center, but you can get here by bus route 255. The Giant's Causeway is relatively close, about a 90 RMB taxi ride one way. My ground-floor room has a 'small garden,' but I felt it lacked privacy, as people on the higher floors opposite seemed able to see into my room. The front desk service was average. Shopping downstairs is convenient, but the brand selection isn't extensive, and the resort's restaurants are quite pricey.

The location is excellent, with very convenient transportation, making it easy to get anywhere. However, if you book a one-day tour through Trip.com that includes pick-up service, this hotel's location isn't covered. 😂 The room is small, but it doesn't feel cramped and is quite clean. If you don't need housekeeping, you have to bring used towels to the front desk to exchange them and pick up drinking water there. If you do want housekeeping, you need to leave your room card at the front desk before 11 AM. I would definitely stay here again next time.

The connecting rooms was a fantastic choice for my family, size of the rooms were great. Parking was also convenient, charging for EVs are available. Loved the heated outdoor pool as well. There were lots of facilities in this resort, from restaurants to theme parks. The service staff were very prompt with my requests. They have all sorts of amenities for young children: cot, bed barrier, dehumidifier, humidifier, air purifier, bathtub. I wish they had provided bedroom slippers for young children, it would make going to the pool easier for us. Other than these pros, the room seems in need of a facelift, wall paper was peeling off, sink was leaking, lots of wear and tear.

My stay at Jeju Shinhwa Hotel this time was absolutely perfect. The overall ambiance is elegant and grand, and the hotel's cleanliness is impeccable. The rooms are spotless and spacious, with soft, comfortable bedding that ensured a very restful sleep. The location is superb, nestled within the Shinhwa Resort, right next to the theme park, water park, and duty-free shop. It's a one-stop-shop for dining, entertainment, and shopping, making everything incredibly convenient. The hotel staff are thoughtful and attentive, friendly and polite, and communication was smooth. Both check-in and check-out processes were quick and efficient. The facilities are excellent, with a beautiful outdoor pool and lush green surroundings, creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The dining options are abundant, offering a wide variety of authentic Korean specialty dishes that were absolutely delicious. This hotel is perfect for couples, friends, or families, offering fantastic value for money and an exceptional stay. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Jeju.

The Jeju Sunshine Hotel boasts an excellent location, just about 2 kilometers from Jeju International Airport, a quick ten-minute taxi ride away. Within walking distance, you'll find convenience stores, restaurants, and duty-free shops like Lotte and Shilla, making shopping and getting around incredibly convenient. The rooms are spacious and tidy, and after a renovation in 2019, the facilities feel quite new. The central air conditioning maintains a comfortable temperature, and the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep on soft bedding. A thoughtful touch is the inclusion of universal power outlets, so no adapter is needed, and toiletries are provided (though you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste). The front desk offers Chinese-speaking staff, making communication smooth. They also provide free luggage storage and can arrange airport shuttle service. The breakfast spread is extensive, featuring Chinese, Western, and Korean dishes, and the hotel has well-equipped facilities like a gym and sauna. Overall, it offers great value for money. While the decor leans towards a business style, the attentive service and convenient location make it an excellent choice for families or shoppers visiting Jeju Island.

Jeju Shinhwa World offers a shuttle bus service from the airport. There's also what's supposedly one of Korea's largest casinos here, though I just passed by and didn't go in – gambling and drugs are a big no-no for me. The hotel's infinity pool, stunning sunset views, and high-rise overlooks give you that 'sky-high' feeling, even in a small town. The third and fourth floors house a shopping center and restaurants, but honestly, there's not much worth browsing unless you arrive early and have time to kill. Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is at 11 AM, which feels a bit strict. It's very convenient for getting around the city. For shopaholics, Olive Young and Shilla Duty Free are just a 5-minute walk away, about a block. Foodies will also be happy, as BHC BBQ Chicken is also just 5 minutes away. The transportation really is excellent. Breakfast on the sixth floor was a bit disappointing, not much to eat and a far cry from places like Parnas or Shilla in Seogwipo. But then again, if not here, where else would you stay?

Finding the right place to stay can truly shape your entire trip, and Grabel Hotel exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the location stood out as both convenient and affordable, making it an easy choice for exploring Jeju without stretching the budget. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean, and the staff consistently went above and beyond with their warm, friendly service. It made the whole experience feel welcoming and effortless. One of the things we really appreciated was the ample parking space, which made coming and going stress-free. Although we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the infinity pool, it is a beautiful feature on the top floor with stunning ocean views. It is definitely something we are looking forward to trying next time. Traveling with kids can be challenging, but Grabel Hotel made it easy with their toddler-friendly rooms and thoughtful family-oriented setup. The small garden on the third floor was a lovely bonus, perfect for letting the kids unwind and play safely. The hotel also offers a great selection of food, and it is clear they host a variety of events, including weddings, which adds to the lively yet refined atmosphere. Overall, this stay checked all the boxes: comfortable, family-friendly, well-maintained, and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend Grabel Hotel and will gladly book again on our next trip to Jeju.

The room itself was decent, and you could see the ocean right from it. The location is good, just about a ten-minute taxi ride from Aewol-eup. There's a CU convenience store downstairs, which is really handy for buying things. There's also a Starbucks about 100-200 meters away on foot. The sea view from downstairs is pretty nice too. The only downside is that the room facilities are a bit old; the sliding door to the toilet was a bit broken and sometimes wouldn't open.
