The main building's rooms are a bit old, which is understandable given it's over a century-old hotel. However, the convenience of being able to go downstairs for a hot spring bath is great. The outdoor pool's temperature is a bit low, suitable for kids to splash around, while the indoor small round pool is high-temperature, perfect for adults. The hotel faces a large, scenic lake, and there's an authentic German restaurant by the lake that serves delicious pork knuckle.

No breakfast, but a simple kitchen, you can help yourself. The hotel is an ordinary motel with simple and functional facilities. The scenery is really good. The hotel is conveniently located next to the road.

Black Rock Oceanfront is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in Canada, It is upscale and luxurious. It is located within walking distance of the Trans Pacific hiking trail and the Lighthouse. It has a heated outdoor pool.and a hot tub overlooking the ocean, as well as a fitness room. There are two oceanfront restaurants. They offer the same menu. One is more formal while the other has a casual bar-like feel. The food is very good although pricey, like most places in Ucluelet and Tofino. Our room at the lodge was large. It had a spectacular view of Big Beach and the ocean from the balcony, which was large enough for more than 2 people to sit at. However, you could see and hear your neighbours enjoying their balconies too. There was a large, ultra-modern bathroom with a separate rainfall shower. There was also a 2-person bathtub located next to a covered glass window. If you uncover that window during daylight, you could see the ocean across the room and balcony. I prefer Ucluelet because it's quieter than Tofino, and would definitely stay at Black Rock Oceanfront again in a heartbeat.

The room was a good size for three people. The surrounding area was quite empty, and some supermarkets closed early. The hotel was clean, and the service was good. There's a popular steak restaurant nearby, and you'll have to wait in line, as the portions are quite large.

In addition to some twists and turns in the reservation, the hotel began to say that it did not receive the money, and later found that I had set the water view, but the order received by the hotel was a higher-level waterfront, and there was a price difference. Later, it was finally solved. After I checked in, I found that there was actually a good view of No. 58, and the sound of the sea was not noisy. Others were either blocked by trees or too close to the water. Choosing water views is also a good choice, and the price is more affordable. There is no restaurant near the hotel, so I choose to dine at the hotel and the taste is OK. Breakfast is also ok.

CCarmenThe hotel is a bit old, but the towels and sheets in the room are like brand new, very clean, better than expected👍The hotel is next to various restaurants, convenience stores, and public swimming pools. After dinner, you can take a walk by the lake. It's awesome👍and the price is cheap , good value for money👍

GGuest UserTop notch service. Corner suite on the 6th floor had a killer view of the harbor and parliament building. Walking distance from restaurant and the BC museum. Really appreciated having a sitting space separate from the bedroom.  Everything was very nice but room not newly remodeled.  Nonetheless,  looking forward to an opportunity to stay there again.  Major flaw was the pool, sauna area was part of an attached gym. Not the spa experience I had hoped for.

AAnonymous UserThis time round it's a bit disappointing as I was assigned a room just outside the swimming pool so I had to close all the curtains for privacy. Abit of aging as compared to my previous stay with them. The very good thing that I would like to recommend others to the hotel is that they would try their best to check you in even though you were very early. I had a 14+hrs flight and I would need the bed badly and they arranged without saying anything.

AAnonymous UserGood services, clean and tidy room, excellent location, but poor facilities. The fridge produce heavy noise every 5 minutes so I have to power it off to guarantee to fall asleep, the thin wall can't prevent noise of ventilation fan in neighboring wash room, I can even feel my bed is shaking, thank god they finally turned it off before 0:00. I just want to be fair in reviews, hoping they do some improvement since it is really lovely hotel with good location.

GGuest UserI recently stayed in a King Executive Suite at Bayview Hotel, and overall, it was a comfortable experience. The suite was spacious, with a well-appointed bedroom and a cozy atmosphere. The bed was plush and inviting, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Everything was clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. The included breakfast was satisfactory, with a decent selection of options to start the day. It wasn’t anything extraordinary, but it covered the essentials well. The only minor drawback was that the living room area felt a bit dated. While still functional and comfortable, a refresh could enhance the overall feel of the suite. That said, Bayview Hotel provided a pleasant stay with plenty of space to relax. It’s a solid choice for those looking for a comfortable and clean hotel
