Beach Hotels in Lombardy, Italy

The service at reception was very friendly. We were offered an upgrade on site for €15/night, which meant we were in a renovated room with a balcony and a beautiful view of the lake. We can't say anything against the room facilities, but we didn't have WiFi reception in the room. The room service was mediocre, we had to make our own bed two days in a row. The outdoor area is definitely in need of renovation and is only impressive because of the view. However, the numerous parking options and the location (10-15 minutes walk to the center, but there is also a shuttle for €1.5 per person, each trip) are positive points. The breakfast was OK, unfortunately there was little choice for vegetarians and the large hall and the noise reminded us of a canteen. We preferred to have dinner in the city, which would have cost €22 per person in the hotel. Overall, solid for a 3-star hotel, great view but a big minus point: no WiFi!

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Hotel Regina on Lake Como! We loved absolutely everything. A huge thank you to the staff-both in the hotel itself and in the restaurant, the team is incredibly friendly and helpful, doing everything to ensure their guests are comfortable. The food in the restaurant is delicious, and the surrounding views are simply breathtaking. We booked a superior room, and its absolute highlight was the large and truly awesome terrace. The only downside during our entire trip was that the air conditioning in our room wasn't working on the cooling mode. However, we quickly found a workaround: we turned it to the heating mode but set a low temperature, and it did the trick! This minor issue didn't spoil our holiday at all. Everything else was top-notch. We definitely recommend this place!

I greatly enjoyed my 3 night stay at Hotel Barchetta Excelsior, Como. My room was spacious, immaculately clean with a very comfortable bed, large bathroom and good-sized flat screen TV. The buffet breakfast was excellent as was dinner in the dining room - a la carte. It was also enjoyable to have a coffee or drink on the outdoor terrace or in the lounge near the bar. The hotel's location is excellent, being directly opposite Lake Como and very close to ferries, trains and buses - also centrally located to shops, cafes etc. Reception staff and wait staff were courteous, professional and helpful. I recommend this hotel and would stay there again without hesitation.

It is a nice hotel, with friendly staff (specially the woman in the restaurant, she is really something!), nice parking space, a small swimming pool. The room is small, bed really hard and the shower space really tidy. Exceptional breakfast with fresh honey, fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh coffee and fresh fruit (really a 5 star breakfast). The hotel is 10 min walk to the lake and far the the Rocca Scaligera (50 min with bike that you can rent at the hotel for 7 euros). And the restaurant was a really good surprise, we had a wonderful lunch . All in all worth the stay.

1. This hotel is in the small town scenic area, and the hotel prices in the small town scenic area are relatively expensive. I think the price/performance ratio of this hotel is good. I brought a company business group, and the guests did not comment that it was not good, so whether it is a business group or a family trip, this hotel meets the needs. 2. Because we booked the cheapest apartment type, the biggest thing is that the room size is small. The area of the bathroom is not small, it is enough. 3. We drove to the town, and it is not possible to drive in the scenic area of the town, so our car needs to park at the parking place designated by the hotel. After parking the car, the hotel will have a golf battery to drive guests and luggage into the scenic area. We were sitting in the battery car, passing through the streets and alleys of the scenic spot, watching ordinary tourists walking while we were sitting in the battery car, everyone was full of superiority and satisfaction. (The cost of the battery car is already included in the self-driving parking fee). 4. There is a large terrace at the back of the hotel (the first photo), where you can lie on a lounger and watch the sunset on Lake Garda (the second photo), which is very pleasant. 5. Although we booked the cheapest room type, there is still a very small balcony. Through the balcony, you can see part of the view of Lake Garda (the third photo). 6. During this trip to Italy, my team members generally admired the town and thought it was worth staying for two nights. The town’s scenery is good and there are many quiet places, which is very suitable for lovers to take a vacation, or important friends to discuss important matters here without being disturbed. This small town is not a regular attraction for Chinese tourist groups, so traveling here is very classy. 7. By the way, this hotel has free bicycles for guests to ride around the town.

The hotel is right next to the lake. The biggest selling point is that there is a large terrace. The lake view of the external network is very awkward. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. It is a 10-minute walk from the pier and the city center. It is convenient to travel, the staff is courteous, and the breakfast is very rich. If you come from other cities by train, the traffic is not so convenient, because the hotel is estimated to walk more than 10 minutes from the station, and taxis outside the station are scarce. Our experience is that after waiting for more than 10 minutes, we finally have to call Uber.

Very nice hotel, and a view of Lake Como. Breakfast at the highest level. I want to tell you that we had an unpleasant situation at first. So we were put in the last room in the hotel, where there was a building on the left and Como was not visible (from the Bellagio side), but I booked a room with a 180ʼ view. I went to the reception and wanted to change our room, explained that this was not quite what we expected, and that we booked this hotel only for the view of the lake. In the end, the hotel made concessions to us and gave us the best room, which we had not even dreamed of. Service 100/10! Thank you for your hospitality.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything was excellent. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was outstanding. A special thanks to Alexander, who provided a warm welcome and showed great professionalism and kindness throughout my stay. His friendly behaviour made a big difference. The staff were attentive, and the overall experience was truly enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This is the hotel we felt most comfortable with in our 10days trip in Italy. The host lady was so friendly and welcoming. She introduced and led us to the yummy pizza restaurant in the area, enriching our experience with the history of Sirmione and helping us to book a wonderful sunset boat tour. We will definitely visit Lake Garda again. It is just too beautiful and Hotel Casa Scaligeri will be our choice.

Great location around 10 minutes walk from the centre but only about 5 minutes from the beach. Free parking for guests which is handy. Staff are super friendly and efficient in every part of the hotel. The room was immaculate and had everything you could think of. Pool area had plenty of beds and a great bar. Reasonably priced drinks also. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was well stocked.
