If you've chosen City View rooms, please be prepared to walk into an oven baked room at check in. The windows are not tinted & afternoon sun is directly shining. They provide thick curtain but the heat is too much. And they also don't pre on the aircon so it takes the whole day for the whole unit to cool down. Very bad experience & will not stay here again if I have to choose the City View rooms.

The place is quite nice, facing the sea. However, the floor is a bit low, and the parking spot is on the top floor, which is a bit inconvenient. But it's very convenient outside, you can buy daily necessities. I'll stay here again next time I visit.

Writing We had a very pleasant stay at this beachfront resort. The service stood out from the moment we arrived—staff across all touchpoints, from the concierge and front desk to housekeeping, restaurant, and poolside team, were consistently attentive and welcoming. We opted to pay a little extra for a sea view upgrade, and it was well worth it. The room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, complete with a bathtub that added a relaxing touch after a day out. The resort itself is beautifully positioned right by the beach, which was clean and well-maintained. There are also two large and deep swimming pools, perfect for both leisure and a proper swim. One of the highlights is the location—within walking distance to a variety of local eateries that are especially lively on weekends, giving a more authentic and vibrant atmosphere. For more options, Kuantan town is just a short drive away. Overall, a great choice for a relaxing getaway with a good balance of comfort, service, and accessibility.

Overall - Rooms are clean and feel fresh (stayed in the family executive sea view room). Main areas are newly renovated with a fresh look, though some parts of the property still feel dated — generally well maintained. The breakfast buffet was decent with local favourites, a western spread, fresh juices and decent coffee. Did not have a great experience at the BBQ dinner due to beach flies. Management took some time to react but ultimately replaced all the food and put measures in place to deter flies. It was off-putting, though it appeared to be an isolated incident — staff were apologetic and receptive to feedback. 🏨 Room — 7/10 Clean, spacious, with all the essentials. 🧹 Cleanliness — 8/10 👋 Staff Friendliness & Responsiveness — 7/10 Staff were friendly and well-mannered. Junior staff would benefit from further training in food safety and guest feedback escalation. 📍 Location — 7/10 Set on a clean, soft-sand beach. Opposite the hotel is a long stretch of local food stalls and eateries. 🍽️ Food & Drink — 5/10 Breakfast buffet is decent. BBQ dinner has room for improvement. 🌅 View/Scenery — 7/10 Clean stretch of beach directly in front of the property. 🏃 Activities Around — 7/10 Surprisingly good gym — older equipment but very complete with a rack and barbells. Plenty of spots to lounge at the beach. Spa was closed for renovations. There is a private ATV operator next to the resort which felt like a safety hazard, with children and adults riding unsupervised and recklessly. ♿ Disabled Friendliness — 8/10

The hotel is very clean and nice. Staff is very friendly. The breakfast is served at the lobby. It makes the lobby very noisy in the morning. I have stayed at AC Hotel Kuantan before and the parking is free. But AC Hotel KL charged RM10 per day for parking. The swimming pool is also very small.

I recently had the chance to stay at Adena Beach Resort, and honestly it turned out to be a really refreshing getaway. The biggest highlight is definitely the private beach. Waking up to the sound of waves and being able to walk straight to the beach in the morning is something you don’t get everywhere. The beach was clean, peaceful, and perfect for a slow morning walk during sunrise. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, with a relaxing view that makes you feel like you’re truly on a break from the city. The resort itself has a calm atmosphere — not overly crowded, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Another thing I appreciated was the friendly and helpful staff. From check-in to check-out, the service felt warm and welcoming. Small gestures from the team really made the stay more pleasant. If you’re looking for a quiet beach escape in Pahang, especially near Kuantan, Adena Beach Resort is definitely worth considering. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, breathe, and just enjoy the sea breeze for a while. Would definitely come back again for another short retreat.

I had terible experience stay under this management. Beds full of bugs, toilet were VERY dirty. Ask the management to clean up the unit but the management changed my room, after change room, same problem occur, toilet still dirty, FLUSH BROKEN, can't flush. Only bugs dissapear in the second unit. Please check carefully before you check in. I dont understand they actively open these unit for rental. you better check carefully ya. Aminities all A+ under the Timurbay, only this management were the main problem.

Our stay at Swiss Garden Residence Kuantan was truly a delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was seamless and professionally handled, setting a positive tone for the entire stay. The residence itself exceeded expectations—the unit was impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed, and carried a warm, home-like ambiance that made settling in effortless. One of the standout features was the in-unit washing machine, complemented by an ample number of hangers—an understated yet highly practical touch that made longer stays especially convenient. Despite visiting during the holiday peak, the overall environment remained comfortable and well-managed, without feeling overly crowded. Parking was straightforward, with a designated lot and clear guidance provided, ensuring a hassle-free experience throughout. For families, the mini waterpark is a wonderful addition, offering both fun and convenience. The proximity to the beach further enhances the appeal, allowing for relaxing seaside moments just a short walk away. Additionally, having a convenience store right outside the residence adds to the overall ease and comfort of the stay. In every sense, this stay offers exceptional value. It strikes a perfect balance between comfort, functionality, and relaxation—truly embodying the essence of a “home away from home.” A happy mom makes a happy family 😊

This is my second time choosing this hotel, and I still highly recommend it! The room with the sea view is so relaxing. The staff are very friendly and the location is very convenient; there's a supermarket and restaurants downstairs. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.

MManmanlyThe hotel felt like a quiet, secluded haven. We booked a beach villa, and they even accommodated our request for a room with a great view. There were many sharks by the jetty, and we could snorkel right outside our room to see plenty of fish and small sharks. The hotel food was good, though a bit pricey. The room design was truly impressive, with front and back doors offering different views, and we even saw many playful monkeys. The cleanliness was absolutely spotless! It also came with a separate vanity table, which turned out to be perfect for our child's homework. The only letdown was the spa. For a hotel that markets itself as a spa destination, the spa rooms were chilly and damp. The therapist was simply awful; she even stopped massaging me when I fell asleep??? I definitely do not recommend getting a spa treatment at this hotel.

WWanee ZulkifliMe and my husband booked this hotel for our staycation before Ramadan start. The price offer affordable with our budget since we went there during school holiday and CNY. We choose superior room which located in front of the pool. The resort are huge/big, a bit classic since the room interior quite oldies. I guess it's true this resort was build on 1987~ somewhere. The resorts well maintain, the staff are welcoming, polite, good PR with guests inquiries. The resort have great access to the beach that you may walk from the room/pool/restaurants. They have 2 pools, the one are surround by the villas/superior room and they have pool theme park (small theme park), require to wear the bands (will provide during check-in), the kids definitely enjoyed playing at the pool so do adults too. The other side of theme park pool, the have pool facing the beach and besids the restaurant, and of course their lifeguard always monitor the guests in pool area. There so many type of rooms you may choose in future. Furthermore, their breakfast menus are satisfied to enjoy, staff that always ready to clean up once guest finished their meal. Overall it's very comfy, nice and beautiful resort to choose for staycation/holiday. Definitely will come again in future.

OoohlysaThe room was good and quite big, and the bed was comfortable. Check-in and check-out were both fast. There’s also a shuttle bus for pick-up and drop-off, so no need to worry about transportation. It’s a nice place to relax away from the city and noise, which I really liked.

###$$##The resort has everything you need — meal options are buffet, grill, BBQ, and fried dishes with excellent wok hei. It also offers a spa, dive centre, mini mart, and an activity centre that arranges snorkeling, trekking, kayaking, and more. Right in front of the resort is a clean, beautiful beach, and Tomok Island is just a short walk away for snorkeling.

GGuest UserThe island's scenery is breathtaking, especially in the evenings as the sun sets. The combination of the boardwalk, the water, the clouds, and the seagulls is truly captivating. You can also snorkel and kayak on the island, or simply relax on a cushion by the beach, gazing at the clear blue water, listening to the crashing waves, and minding your own business. It's a relaxing and comfortable experience. The rooms are decorated in a wood-style style. Ours even had a small pool, a patio, and a small loft. Everything was well-equipped. Knowing we were Chinese tourists, they even switched the Netflix program on the TV to Chinese—a thoughtful touch. The hotel also offers a turndown service with scented candles and a small note on a leaf, making you feel instantly at home. Regarding food, there's a Malaysian restaurant and an Italian restaurant on the island (the hotel owner is Italian, married to a Malaysian woman, and built a hotel here). Breakfast is served at the hotel's buffet, offering both a buffet and à la carte options. The bread, various toasts, muffins, and yogurt are all delicious. I recommend ordering the ones with peanut butter. We only ate at the Italian restaurant once, which was average. The rest of our stay was at the Malaysian restaurant. The chef is a master at making rich, spicy, sour, and fried dishes, and he's very humorous. The smoothies are also very authentic, and I especially recommend the green apple juice, which is a refreshing summer treat. There's also a small bar during happy hour that sells grilled food and fresh seafood. We didn't know about it and missed it, but we ended up ordering a burger, which was amazing! The gravy was juicy, and while the bread was a little dry, it outweighed the problem. Even the roasted potatoes on the side were delicious! Finally, the hotel service here is impeccable. The staff greets you with a smile and immediately seeks to assist you with any needs. In short, it feels like home, and thinking of them brings a sense of security. Transportation was a bit of a hassle. We landed at Kuala Lumpur Airport, chartered a car to Mersing for a ferry, and spent a few hours exploring Malacca along the way. We departed from the airport's Outlet at around 2:00 PM, arrived in Malacca around 4:00 or 5:00 PM, and departed for Mersing at 7:00 PM, arriving around 11:00 PM. We slept in a homestay in Mersing. The next day, we took the 11:30 PM ferry to Tioman Island, and then another ten-minute ride on the hotel's boat to the hotel. It was a hassle, but on our last day, the hotel dropped us off at the Tioman Island jetty for the ferry. Seeing them say goodbye to us, I couldn't help but think I'd return one day. Besides the scenery, it was their simplicity, sincerity, and thoughtfulness that made this hotel feel like home. It truly was ”home, sweet home.”

GGuest UserThis was our second stay at the hotel with my family, and I noticed quite a few changes. The swimming pool is now very close to the beach, most likely due to the monsoon season affecting the shoreline. The food selection was disappointing with very limited variety, and honestly, not worth the price. However, I did enjoy the location — it feels private and away from the crowds, which is a plus. The room itself was fairly clean, but the TV channels were limited, and there was no iron or hair dryer provided. For the price, it didn’t feel like good value, but for 3 adults and 2 kids, it was acceptable overall.
