Just a lovely place to stay. The villa with the private pool is definitely the way to go. Hotel is near many necessities and just far enough from any noise at all....very quiet. Service counter staff is incredible. The washroom and shower are the only downfall of this great hotel....very poor design. We would love to stay here again.

Excellent location, quiet rooms with comfortable bed and good aircon. When the sea is calm, it is so relaxing on the beach. Bean bags great for day & evening chilling. Excellent staff. Pizza fab day or night. Happy hour G&T was a welcome offering. Varied music around the pool gave a good happy vibe without being over the top. Loved you could walk into the sea on soft sand. Mall/ bars/restaurants on doorstep.. short walk outside Resort entrance. Close to airport so some air noise when flights arrive/depart. Did not notice after 1st day. Tip. Mozi plug-in is a must in all of Asia. Friendly beach vendors. All ages hotel.

I had a lovely stay at Samui First Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed warmly and even offered a refreshing welcome drink, which was a nice touch. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The hotel offers plenty of amenities, and the breakfast in the morning was delicious—definitely a great way to start the day. The pool area is clean and well-maintained, perfect for a quick dip or relaxing by the water. Although there's no elevator, it wasn’t a big issue for me. The hotel is a bit far from Central Samui and the beach, so renting a bike is a good idea if you want to explore the island. Chaweng Beach is the closest, and it's a beautiful spot. I also recommend checking out Ark Bar—it’s a great place to chill, especially in the late afternoon or evening. Overall, a pleasant experience and a great place to stay on Samui Island.🤗❤️

The room was spacious but a bit dusty, as if the cleaning wasn’t very thorough. Still, overall cleanliness was acceptable. The atmosphere was lovely with a beautiful view. The staff were friendly, cheerful, and always willing to help. Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious—don’t miss the breakfast! However, the location is quite difficult to reach as the resort is on a hill. The road is dark at night, and there’s nothing much around the hotel

Hotel was nice (didn’t have the breakfast). The pool was also nice but mostly shady. Restaurants nearby were good too but is not very central in Chaweng. The sister hotel had another pool and a private beach with enough sunbeds that guests can use which overcomes this issue

A little tropical paradise to call your own. The beach bungalows are stumbling distance from the shoreline and you can fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves. If the ocean isn’t your thing, they’ve got a covered pool to cool off in. The resort has an excellent kitchen that does amazing Al crate dishes like mussels, grilled seafood and pasta and they have a very popular seafood grill night weekends. I gotta say tho I feel the breakfast menu options are limited and could use a revamp to include things like Açaí bowls or Chia or make a buffet like most hotels do. The are also high end luxury rooms in the main part of the hotel whose architectural design looks exactly like a Cape Winery circa 1700s. The front desk will arrange all tours, laundry and even scooter rental for you. I loved staying here and look forward to a future return.

A high-quality, quiet hotel, a confident four. friendly staff, daily cleaning with a full change of linen, willingness to accommodate in an unusual situation. Of the minuses: steep slopes to get in and out of the hotel, with the existing skills of driving a motorcycle, I was a little afraid of the descents. The rooms themselves are a little tired from time to time, but this creates a cozy “lamp” atmosphere of time-tested reliability. I lived in a double house, there was strong audibility and the children drank endlessly, the sounds from the neighbors bothered me. I asked about changing my number, and the staff was kind and helpful. There is a beach, but as in most places on Koh Phangan, the water is shallow. In general, the place to relax is wonderful. I recommend

I would be happy to leave a positive review of Cocohut Beach Resort & SPA, but with a small caveat. First of all, I would like to note that the attention to cleanliness, comfort and service here is truly top notch. I would give them 5 points for cleanliness: the rooms and common areas are in perfect order, which creates a feeling of comfort and care for guests. The service is also captivating - the staff is polite, responsive and always ready to help, which makes the holiday truly enjoyable. The amenities in the hotel did not disappoint, offering everything you need for a relaxing holiday. However, speaking of the location, I would give 4 points. The fact is that the beach that the hotel overlooks was not as attractive as I expected. The entrance to the water is quite shallow, but this creates some inconvenience due to the presence of algae and stones on the bottom, which may disappoint swimming enthusiasts. Despite this, it should be noted that there are many other magnificent beaches on the island that can fully compensate for this shortcoming. Overall, Cocohut Beach Resort & SPA is a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend it to my friends given all the positive experiences I had there.

PPikachuuuuuuVery nice Villa. Full of natural vibe. So many tree surrounding the area. All the staffs are very welcoming and friendly. It has 1 restaurant in the hotel. But it is also very easy to walk along the beach to reach W hotel for OTHER restaurant. only thing is the room is very humid, there are some moth' eggs in the toilet room. It would be great if dehumidifier is provided in the room. Tv cannot do screen mirror with my mobile phone. It wouls be great if this can be considered. Room has very nice view on the hill.

GGuest UserPros: Location: Dara Samui Beach Resort boasts an enviable position right in the heart of Koh Samui. Its proximity to various restaurants, shops, and local attractions makes it an ideal base for exploring the area. Being able to walk everywhere is a huge plus and adds an element of relaxation to the vacation experience. Staff: One of the standout features of the resort is its staff. They are not only efficient, ensuring everything runs smoothly, but also genuinely friendly and welcoming, always greeting guests with a smile. This level of service greatly enhances the overall stay. Room Views: Opting for a room on the third floor is highly recommended as it offers scenic views. While the first and second floors might lack these views, the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms remain commendable. Bed and pillows were awesome!! Pool Area: The infinity pool is a highlight, providing a luxurious and serene environment to relax, swim, or simply enjoy the sun. This well-maintained area is made even more enjoyable by the fun and friendly pool and bar staff. One memorable highlight was when staff made popsicles by hand for the guests, adding a delightful touch to the day’s activities. Breakfast: The buffet breakfast at the resort is exceptional. With a wide variety of choices, both in terms of dishes and flavors, every morning feels like a new culinary adventure. The quality and taste of the food meet high standards, ensuring a delightful start to the day. Cons: Noise Levels: A significant downside to staying at Dara Samui Beach Resort, especially noted on Chaweng Beach, is the noise pollution from nearby clubs. Guests looking for a peaceful night's sleep might find the loud music, particularly the repetitive beats and booming sounds from 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM, to be a major disturbance. This could be a dealbreaker for light sleepers or those seeking a restful retreat. Beach and Swimming Conditions: While the beach itself is beautiful and great for daytime relaxation, the water level often remains below one meter, making it impossible to swim in the ocean. This shallow water issue is prevalent across most of Chaweng Beach and might disappoint those looking forward to ocean swimming. Conclusion: Dara Samui Beach Resort offers a fantastic adult-only experience with its excellent location, superb staff, and top-notch facilities. However, potential guests should be aware of the early morning noise and the less-than-ideal swimming conditions in the ocean. If you are a night owl or can sleep through noise, and don't mind shallow beachfront waters, these issues might not be as impactful. Otherwise, consider requesting a room as far from the noise source as possible or look into noise-canceling solutions and plan for alternative ocen swimming options like a day at Silver Cove. Despite these setbacks, the resort's positives significantly outweigh its negatives, making it a worthy consideration for your stay in Koh Samui. Also exceptional value for the money.

GGuest UserStayed at Chaweng Garden Beach Resort in July for 7 days in a Standard Triple Room in room 125. Although the resort is an older one, as a budget level hotel it has satisfied most of our expectations. The room was large enough, with the building close to ”Sue's Restaurant” and to the main pool and to the beach. Room and bathroom were clean. As we asked for additional pillows in the room, we were provided. The buildings, villas were surrounded by lush garden, including the restaurant and beachfront, assuring comfortable shadow for those searching for it. The main pool has a comfortable depth, comfortable for swimming/playing, it's water was clean, although we preferred to swim in the sea. Did NOT encounter any jellyfish in the sea during our stay, so do not be afraid from this point of view! Beach towels are provided near the pool. Breakfast was basically good, although I would suggest to the management to provide beside a single(same) type of ham also some variety of salami. The same would be the case also for cheese, to provide 2-3 types, not only a single one type every day. I guess this would be much appreciated by the westerners who make up the majority of the guests. Initially we were afraid from load music until late night from the neighboring Ark Bar Beach Club, but our fear was groundless, the lush vegetation absorbed most of the sound, it was barely noticeable. It was touching seeing how the much respected owner of the resort, Miss Sue, was visiting one or two times every day the area near the restaurant and the beach while greeting ”old” returning guests and entering with them is short conversions. All in one, I appreciate that Chaweng Garden Beach Resort offers an excellent value for money ratio, and I would definitely return the next time to the same place, hopefully next year! GGuest UserYou will have amazing views from the room and the truth is that the staff is very attentive and always eager to help. What I didn't like is that the photos do not match reality and the Risort is still under construction, it has great potential but it has many things to improve, the bed is not comfortable at all for the price paid, the decoration of the room It is very basic, it does not make you feel like you are in a superior Risort which is what you see in the photos, you will have the views, but do not expect great comforts, then it is built on a cliff and the hill to go to the exit of the Telita hotel hahahaha I find this difficult for older people, even though I believe that if it were home they have a golf cart in which they took our suitcases that could be used**** to help the elderly. Another good thing and I recommend yes or yes is taking the boat from the hotel to the small island next door, it is 3 minutes but it is an incredible place that you cannot miss if you go, they also offer the option of renting a motorcycle, which is super good because you already pick it up from the hotel and when you leave you can leave it right there. That saves you the trip to another motorcycle agency of which there are a thousand! In short, I recommend it because the stay, if I compare it overall, was good but don't expect great luxuries.

Amazing
ZZ&HMy wife and I chose this hotel to celebrate our anniversary, and looking back, I’m so glad we did. The free and varied water activities, the friendly and patient staff (almost all of whom speak excellent English), and the simple yet delicious food left a lasting impression on me. From start to finish, there was hardly anything to be dissatisfied with. We stayed for two nights in different types of rooms. On the second night, we stayed in a pool villa. The initial room we were assigned didn't have the view we saw in the website photos, so my wife asked if we could switch rooms. To our surprise, the staff checked briefly and then upgraded us for free to a room with the best sea view we’ve ever seen. I can hardly describe how beautiful the view was with my limited vocabulary. My wife and I both agreed that we will definitely come back, maybe for a week or even a month next time. If you want to quietly enjoy the beach, sea view, and a private pool, choosing this place will not disappoint you. By the way, I really liked the welcome drink at the beginning and the scented sachet they gave us when we left. The coconut-flavored snacks in the lobby were also very delicious; I would grab one almost every time I passed by.

AAlipallyLet’s start with the staff. Tik and all the team are so amazing and we couldn’t have asked for better service Sadly on arrival we were met by building works from the main decking area and a pool that just looked broken. Tiles missing and lacking water in areas. We were informed that due to this being the quiet month (pre school holidays ). That this was the only time to get it done !! We were given a free spa but again however nice the drilling noise and building work could be heard throughout. The management who were present did not seem to acknowledge that this was a problem for us. The view from the bungalow was amazing. However I wouldn’t have booked it if I had known that it sat on a beach that you couldn’t enter. An unswimmable area due to low tide and sea urchins. This was our luxury part to our holiday and sadly apart from the staff it was very disappointing. I would have been informed of the disruptive building work during my stay and the management failed to address this issue and the poor pool maintenance.

GGuest UserNice resort but can do with some reservations. Amenities can be improved too as what is offered is below its own concept standards. Only 2 bath towels provided, adding hand or face towels would be good. No pool towels in the plunge pool room, having it would be nice. Umbrella is damaged so can’t use it properly, room maid should check these things. Only 2 pillows provided, having 4 pillows would be nice so each person can have 2 pillows for comfort sleeping. Rooms with Plunge pool should have its own on/off switch for guests to operate instead of having to call reception to turn it on every time we need to use it. The water flow in the bathroom shower and wash basin is not consistently flowing with pressure, it low and high water pressure.
