This is my second time to stay here. I have a service dog who is an ESA, which I had informed the hotel of when I made the booking. I had stayed there the previous weekend and when I checked in, there weren’t any issues with any of the staff with my having an ESA staying there. I only had an incident with the night manager who complained about the dog being in the hotel. This is when I was on the way to eat at the restaurant. The host & the server had no issues with the dog being there and they commented that she was actually more behaved than many small children that come the food was amazing btw. I twice had the dog near me as well in the pool area tethered while I was swimming & while I was in the hot tub & there were no issues with the staff then. However, the next time I stayed, they would not let me have the dog with me in the pool area tethered. They then ended up kicking me out of the hotel as I would not leave the pool as I felt this to be unjust as the dog wasn’t bothering anyone. Also, she cannot be in the room by herself as she will cry & bark which would bother our neighbors. I also will not leave her in the car. Basically because of my ESA dog-a Pomski of 14lbs, I was kicked out of the hotel at 10:30 at night escorted by 3 policemen on a Saturday with nowhere to stay. I had to sleep on my friends couch for a few hours, and find another place to stay the next day which excepted my ESA dog without any issues. I will not be staying at this resort again because of this horrific experience.
Definitely a value but don’t expect more. We have stayed here off and on for many years. The building is really showing its age. However, it is as close to the shore as anyone can get. The building must take a beating from Mother Nature over the winter. The sunrise from our room was magnificent. With that view, who cares about weathered paint? The room was clean and mercifully quiet for our dog but nothing special to brag about. The staff was first-rate in every way. The restaurant was as pleasant a setting as ever. One of our meals was excellent, the other clearly reheated with instant potatoes. The free breakfast should be renamed “morning snacks.” We are likely to stay there again for the lake view and shore walk. We aren’t looking for the Ritz Carlton.

Very beautiful lake view from our balcony. It’s worth the higher room charge (as opposed to the hillview). Very friendly staff, got a machine in the lobby where you can brew coffee, chocolate or tea for free. Love that! We also ordered pizza at the Italian restaurant inside the hotel & got 10% off being hotel guests, Food was so so but it’s good to take the food we ordered & enjoyed them in the balcony!
It’s a cosy inn and front desk is very friendly. Bed is comfy and nice. Love the view from the dinning area which over looks the pier.
I stayed on level 2 which means u need to lug the heavy luggage up. The area is nice and near to food choices.
Breakfast is quite basic, if u want a hearty meal, u can walk over to Bella which has lots of breakfast choices.
It's okay here in Lake Geneva, the hotel is in a good location, you can walk to the lake or the various restaurants in the city center! The indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi are also very suitable for bringing a baby! The cleanliness of the room can only be said to be average 😳 depends on personal understanding
