My trip to Lhasa this time was spent entirely at this hotel, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting Tibet. The hotel's location is its biggest highlight; it's incredibly close to Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple, allowing you to walk directly to all the main attractions. This means no need to wake up early to rush for transport, saving both time and hassle. In the evening, it's especially convenient to take a stroll and see the Potala Palace at night. You don't have to travel far, and you can easily capture stunning twilight photos. For tourists wanting to explore the old city in depth, the location is absolutely perfect. The hotel's overall environment is quiet and comfortable. The rooms are spotless, with floors, bathrooms, and even the edges of tables meticulously cleaned. The bedding is clean and odor-free, showing that basic hygiene is handled exceptionally well. The rooms are equipped with oxygen machines and humidifiers, a double boost perfectly suited for the dry and high-altitude environment. I didn't experience chest tightness or dry mouth at night, allowing me to fall asleep peacefully and completely alleviate the discomfort of altitude sickness. Even first-time visitors to Tibet can get a good, restful night's sleep here. What truly impressed me was the warm service from everyone. From the security guard at the entrance to the front desk staff handling check-in, and even the aunties and uncles in the breakfast restaurant, every single staff member was warm and gentle. They patiently and thoroughly answered any questions, treated guests with genuine sincerity, and showed thoughtful care at every turn. The check-in process at the front desk was efficient and quick, and the breakfast selection was abundant. Staff would proactively refill dishes, demonstrating their attentiveness to detail. My entire stay was comfortable and worry-free. The location, cleanliness, facilities, and service were all top-notch – absolutely no disappointments. If I visit Lhasa again, this hotel will definitely be my first choice. I also recommend it to any friends planning a trip to Lhasa; it's truly a reliable place to stay.

The overall ambiance and oxygen-enriched room experience at The St. Regis Lhasa were impeccable. What truly impressed me the most was our butler, Pubu Cering Justin, who was incredibly responsive to all our requests. Upon arrival, I experienced mild altitude sickness. After contacting him, oxygen and warm ginger tea were delivered almost immediately, with no waiting time at all. When I wanted to book a ******* costume photoshoot and plan my Potala Palace itinerary, he had everything arranged promptly after I explained my needs. Even when I returned to the hotel late and wanted a hot drink and some extra fruit, they were delivered to my room right after I made the request. He is efficient and professional, never delaying any requests. He perfectly balances professionalism with the warm and thoughtful service typical of a ******* host. Everything was handled promptly and perfectly, making my entire stay incredibly reassuring and comfortable. I'll definitely be looking for Justin again on my next visit!

After staying in Lhasa for two days, we came back from a short tour and rebooked this Tibetan-style hotel. The staff (both male and female) were very enthusiastic and responsible. We even received a small welcome gift upon check-in, which made us feel right at home. The hotel breakfast was very extensive, and the views from both the room and the restaurant were absolutely stunning.

If you're prone to altitude sickness, don't choose this hotel. The diffuse oxygen supply only lasts about an hour, so you have to turn it on manually. I woke up several times during the night, and the oxygen supply stopped working by 7 AM. Nasal inhalation is also an extra charge. The air conditioning system only heats, not cools, making the room extremely stuffy. I was extremely disappointed with this hotel, which is known as Hilton, and I would never choose it again.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the Peet's Coffee was a nice touch. The location is unbeatable; you can walk to both the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple. My biggest complaint, though, is the air conditioning. Not only was the fan incredibly loud, but on the first night, there was no cold air at all. The room was 25 degrees Celsius, and with such a thick duvet, I woke up sweating. The AC worked on the second day, but it turned off in the middle of the night, and I woke up hot again. It wasn't until the third day that the AC seemed to work properly, keeping the room at a comfortable 20 degrees, which made sleeping much better. The breakfast selection was quite limited, with no yogurt and very few pastries or Western-style bread, let alone bacon or anything like that. I'm not sure if this is typical for hotels in Tibet or just a specific issue with Hyatt Centric.

Many people, myself included, often debate between the St. Regis and the Shangri-La, as both hotels in Beijing are quite unremarkable. Ultimately, I chose the Shangri-La for its value for money. I had considered Songtsam too, but common sense told me to be a smart spender. Although the hotel shows its age, its architectural style is grand and refined, revealing luxurious material choices. Time has inevitably left its mark, but a classic car, even when old, is still a classic car. Moreover, service and quality require time to accumulate and withstand market scrutiny. While the Shangri-La may not have many existing locations, it still holds a strong market advantage, and it takes an discerning eye to appreciate it. My butler, Bowen, arranged my room before I even arrived. Looking out the window at the Potala Palace's silhouette in the distance immediately set the mood. He then meticulously delivered on all aspects of my package. I found Bowen to be a man of few words but very steady, highly responsive, and an exceptionally smooth driver. He never asked inappropriate or subjective questions, which I truly appreciated. Over three days, Bowen's accompaniment added a unique dimension to my Lhasa itinerary. Among the few Tibetans I've encountered, he was a definite plus. I sincerely wish him all the best in his work! The Shangri-La in Lhasa lives up to its brand's standards and enhances the reputation of its sister properties. I'm so glad I made the right choice; this will be a memorable and wonderful travel experience.

I stayed at Atour for three days and I'm completely hooked! The moment I walked in, I was captivated by the scholarly ambiance of the lobby. The staff's smiles were so infectious, and check-in was seamless – no waiting at all. The mattress in the room was incredibly soft, like sleeping on a cloud, and even the scent of the toiletries was soothing. The freshly made noodles for breakfast paired perfectly with the coffee. Next time I'm in this city, I'll definitely choose Atour again!

Five stars is a must! This 5-star hotel is truly full of surprises! The lobby is filled with rich ******* style, with various ******* incense sticks neatly displayed and Thangka paintings creating a wonderful atmosphere. The lobby also features a complimentary tea break area, offering nourishing hot tea, bread, pastries, candies, and dried fruits all day long. It's a clean and thoughtful place to stop and recharge while traveling. A special mention goes to the smart delivery robot! It's simple and responsive, delivering takeout and small items directly to your room. You can even ask it to pick up snacks, saving you the hassle of running around. The combination of traditional ambiance and smart service makes for a fantastic experience! The staff are gentle and attentive, and the rooms are clean and quiet. This is the top choice for travelers in this area – highly recommended!

The luckiest thing about traveling to Lhasa is to choose the ideal country hotel! The two days of staying in the whole experience is full marks. It is definitely a cost-effective and super warm treasure hotel in Lhasa. I really highly recommend it to all friends who come to Lhasa! For the first-time tourists to the plateau, high reaction is the biggest concern, and the oxygen supply of this hotel directly kills most of the accommodation in Lhasa! The hotel's oxygen supply equipment is excellent, far better than the ordinary domestic oxygen generator on the market, completely meeting the standard of the hospital professional oxygen inhaler. Just arrived in Lhasa slightly dizzy, chest tightness short, oxygen inhalation for only two minutes, physical discomfort immediately relieved, the whole person instantly comfortable and transparent. The most conscience is that the hotel provides free oxygen 24 hours a day, no time limit, no extra charge, stable oxygen supply all night, no oxygen headache at night, perfect solution to the biggest problem of high-resistance accommodation, especially friendly to high-anti-crowds and first-time tourists entering Tibet. The environment of the hotel is even more amazing, completely breaking the stereotype of the plateau accommodation. The decoration of the room is exquisite and elegant, the texture is full, the layout is warm and tidy, the sanitation is meticulous, every corner is clean and bright, and the living is particularly comfortable. The most surprising thing is the hotel's courtyard, the four seasons are blooming, the green plants are scattered, the overall atmosphere is full, and the artistic atmosphere is full of literary and artistic high-end. You don't need to find attractions specially. You can take pictures in the yard. The atmosphere is full and the appearance is super high. In addition, the store service is really impeccable! The boss is super gentle and sincere, warm and caring, and will patiently answer any questions. The whole service is meticulous and thoughtful, especially warm. The hotel's breakfast is also full of sincerity, rich in categories, fresh ingredients, delicious taste, nutritious and warm stomach, every day's exquisite breakfast can start a full plateau trip. The overall accommodation experience is impeccable, high-quality oxygen supply, beautiful environment, clean and warm service are all available! Traveling to Lhasa, closing your eyes to the ideal country hotel, absolutely not stepping on thunder, is the treasure hotel I will definitely stay in Lhasa next time!

It's a cute little traditional ******* style hotel that is just a stone throw from Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple. The hotel doesn't provide breakfast but has an Indian restaurant downstairs. You can also find plenty of food along the Barkhor Street which is like 2 mins walk away. Potala Palace is also relatively near about 2km away. The hotel also has cute kittens running around.
