The stay was generally pleasant, and I appreciated that they located us on a high floor. The service desk staff were kind and helpful. However, I was disappointed that they don’t accept any cash. I usually pay cash for food and parking, but I was forced to use my card and ended up paying extra card surcharges.

Perfect place for a family stay! Complete with washing machine and tumble dryer. Products are also provided. Restaurants literally downstairs, walking distance to the scenic railway, cairns central shopping centre, the esplanade etc. we liked our stay so much we wanted to stay longer but unfortunately it was fully booked. We left there and went to stay on reef encounter live aboard. Which you board from literally outside. Keys were easy to drop off and pick up too! Would definitely recommend staying here

Very nice room with good layout and spacious enough. Near pool and restaurant, I'm glad it was a quiet Monday night and not a weekend otherwise noise could have been an issue. Good service and tasty food. The place had a nice atmosphere, great to meet friends or family and enjoy the ambience.

Very close to the main street, just a few minutes walk, very convenient. There is a waiter who speaks some Chinese, very nice! The sea view is not wide enough, the facilities are relatively old, the food is not delicious, maybe it's because of different tastes. The bed smelled at night, fortunately we only booked one night and went to another hotel the next day.

Had a wonderfull stay at the colonial club, a bit far from Cairns city center. Like an hour walk or a few minutes by Uber. During my time mostly families. Didn’t meet other solo travelers. But in general a really good stay, friendly staff, clean and very good value for price. Would visit here again.

Great location and secure no need at ease breakfast is yum coffee is hot can sit back and relax and enjoy the weekend and they have it covered the rest of your stay . Thanks guys 10/10 Best part I loved was the balcony room 1502 pretty sure because this is right in the 0ath of fresh air . And room service quick and affordable.

The rooms are fantastic, giving off a real resort vibe with a huge central swimming pool, complete with a diving area – absolutely perfect for families with kids. There's a Coles supermarket just a 250-meter stroll away, which stays open late, so you can easily grab all your groceries and essentials. Getting to Port of Airlie is a bit of a journey, but thankfully there's a direct shuttle bus right outside the entrance that gets you there in about 17 minutes. The only minor letdown was the air conditioning; even set to 18°C, it didn't feel particularly cold. However, visiting in early September, it was still quite bearable.

I had a really nice and relaxing stay here. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. I especially appreciated the free shuttle bus—it made getting around so much easier! The kitchen and laundry were useful, and the atmosphere was chill with other travelers. Breakfast service also awesome!! I’d love to come back someday!

It’s nice and quiet, and pretty comfy, but there’s still a bunch of hair on the floor, and it doesn’t look super clean. The staff seemed a bit confused with the info, but it’s all good. Just don’t expect five-star service, that’s all.

It was great stay. Clean room, quiet, peaceful ambiance plus the beach itself. Professional staff. In short we love it ❤️
