Overall, it's pretty good, but not perfect. The decor and cleanliness feel a bit old, and the room size is quite small, making it feel less like a 3-star and more like a good 2-star. The subway station is conveniently located just 300 meters away, but you have to cross a busy road under an overpass. Breakfast options are very limited and not tasty, though the hot dry noodles were a highlight. They offer congee and eggs as a late-night snack, along with various convenient services. All in all, I'd recommend spending a few extra bucks for a better 3-star experience.

The second time I went there, Shuangquan Hotel was far better than Xiangyang Qiqu Hotel in terms of environment, facilities and service. It was a completely different experience. The service in all aspects was very considerate, and the hotel was very beautiful. There were moss landscapes and green plants everywhere, which was full of creativity. When I was dining in the hotel lobby, the front desk lady also brought mineral water! ! The small details were all in place! ! It was much more comfortable than the hotel I stayed in Xiangyang. I regretted my last trip. I still want to stay in this hotel three or four times! ! But there are some small suggestions. Can I add a small bed to the courtyard pool room? The small bed added later was really uncomfortable to sleep on. It was not comfortable at all. Sleeping was the most important thing. It should be improved. The bed in the parent-child twin room was too small. It was too easy to fall off when sleeping with one big and one small. It was not easy to merge them. One should be larger and one smaller, which would be more reasonable! !

I went there because it was ranked first on the luxury list, but the bathroom didn't have a ventilator, the room window was too small, it was stuffy without the air conditioner, and it was very noisy when it was turned on. At 7 o'clock in the morning, there were children shouting, running and playing in the corridor. The sound insulation of the room was too poor, and the door slammed loudly, so I couldn't rest well at all. The breakfast was even more exaggerated. It was said to end at 10:30, but there were almost no dishes, cold dishes, hot dishes and fruits, and they were not replenished. The waiters were busy collecting the meals. In the kitchen, there were people who could make noodles except for the noodle shop, and no one else was there. I could only eat noodles and bread. I have stayed in so many five-star hotels, but this is the first time I have seen this situation. I think I have stayed in many five-star hotels, and I have always been reminded to pick up the dishes and collect the meals at the end point. This is the first time I have encountered a situation where there is nothing to eat. Overall, the service and price do not match. I will not stay there again and I don't recommend it.

The room was very clean, and the layout and decor were excellent. The front desk staff even upgraded our room type. In the afternoon, they provided yogurt and fruit. Housekeeping, noticing I had a laptop, thoughtfully prepared a steam eye mask. When a package arrived at the hotel, the kind gentleman at the front desk personally delivered it to my room. The service was exceptional! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Wuhan. There are also many great restaurants nearby, and it's very close to the subway, making it convenient for visiting attractions.

MMolin 2025.08.11
This was my first visit to Country Garden Xianning, and I truly felt it's the best hotel in the area. Yet, the official photos make it look quite old and dated, which always led us to travel further to Chibi for hot springs. In actuality, both the hotel's ambiance and the room conditions far exceeded our expectations. The restaurant environment was lovely, and the breakfast was hearty. They really should consider updating their promotional images! We were upgraded to a room with a spacious bay window. We asked a staff member for an extra duvet, and the kids absolutely loved playing on it! The Water World is located just across the road from the hotel, with a convenient shuttle service. While the hot springs remain the main draw, they've also added a wave pool and a bubble pool. The large slide is unfortunately out of commission, but for those not keen on thrilling rides, there's still plenty to enjoy. The wave pool's waves were genuinely some of the largest I've encountered in any hotel-affiliated water park – far surpassing those at a certain family hotel newly opened in Wuhan, which charges double the price! The complimentary use of single and double swim rings is also a thoughtful touch. Finally, I must voice my disappointment regarding the kids' activities. The male staff member in charge showed extremely poor crowd control, leading to an utterly chaotic setup. They seriously need to learn from more competent peers in the industry. For starters, the activity content itself was poorly chosen. Knowing it was a weekend and would be busy, they should have anticipated the crowd and opted for simpler, quicker, and easier-to-manage crafts – something like making a lacquer fan or a TCM sachet, which a group could finish in 5-10 minutes. Instead, they went with the most complicated activity, causing everyone to pile into the room and complain. To top it off, the early start was only announced at the last minute. To make matters worse, they completely disregarded their own rules. Many guests complained that reservations were not honored, and people without reservations were also allowed to join. Even if we overlook the multiple booking groups, the main issue was that anyone who simply ignored the rules could just grab materials and start participating immediately. So, for an activity clearly intended for children, you'd see a family of three: the little boy making two items, his mom making one, and his dad occupying a seat as well. I've been to numerous family hotels where, during off-peak dining hours, they utilize banquet halls for activities, ensuring ample seating for parents to accompany their children at the same table. In situations with limited seating, children typically sit at the activity table while parents use small stools beside them. The priority is always to allow as many children as possible to participate simultaneously, and materials are only distributed to seated kids. I've genuinely never witnessed such disorganization where materials are handed out first, leading to a scramble for seats. What I found most incomprehensible was this: since many parents were waiting, they had their children playing in an adjacent area. One parent controversially took all the toys, preventing other kids from playing, which naturally sparked a heated argument with other parents. The dispute lasted quite a while and escalated. I even had to interject, 'It's getting pretty intense; aren't you going to send someone to de-escalate?' The male staff member simply replied that he was too swamped with people today and wasn't going to get involved. I countered, 'By the time you're free, they might actually be physically fighting!' After a moment's thought, he made a call and summoned another staff member, but offered no guidance or handover. Consequently, the female staff member, completely unaware of the situation, ended up trying to placate a different guest who was complaining about the activity schedule. Meanwhile, the original two parents continued their shouting match for a while longer. 😂 Frankly, if they can't even monitor or control the situation, they are entirely unfit to manage kids' activities. These activities really turned into a major negative point.

Our family traveled and stayed at R&F Wanda Realm Hotel in Jingzhou. The hotel is not far from the ancient city and is convenient for sightseeing. Miss Zhao, who received us at the front desk, was very enthusiastic. Seeing that we had a lot of luggage (there was also a wheelchair, and my 90-year-old mother was accompanying us), she asked the concierge to help deliver the luggage to the room. Thank you! The double room we booked only had 2 breakfasts, so we asked Miss Zhao to help give one to the elderly. Miss Zhao helped apply for it quickly. Thank you Miss Zhao! The hotel room was clean and hygienic, with complete facilities and good service. Great! Recommend this hotel!

The check in system was such a mess, we booked four rooms individually, but when I checked in, I got a room which had already checked in by my sister. I asked the front office to double check by using my name, but they insisted that they could NOT find my booking under my name. They only identified the booking by checking the booking confirmation number rather than by checking against the spelling of one's full name printed on the ID. The problem was solved in the end after I showed them my sister's room confirmation number, see how it ******, but I was not satifised with such a serious mistake that IHG group could encounter. Quite disappointed although the front office manager did apologize to me afterwards and gave the complimentary breakfast. The room key card could not been placed together with my mobile phone, it was quite wired. I always travel to Beijing and other places, and it was the first time that the room key turned invalid when it stayed close to a mobile phone! Interesting experience!

I’ve stayed here multiple times on separate visits to Wuhan. It’s a good location near the university and good streets catering towards students. It’s also a quick taxi ride to many of Wuhan’s good malls. Only complaint is that some rooms are naturally cleaner than others (more carpet = less clean, as is the case for all of China)

I absolutely loved the service and amenities at the Shangri-La Wuhan! Both times I requested extra water, a razor, and other items from room service, they responded in about 5 minutes. The room was clean and spacious, and I especially liked the long desk! All the electrical appliances were spotless, clearly designed with safety and cleanliness in mind. For example, the electric kettle's power cord can be neatly rolled into a hidden compartment in its base. The ironing board and iron were also very easy to use. Overall, I appreciate the service and facilities of the well-established Shangri-La brand. There were no strange odors in the room, and the lotion had that familiar citrus scent. This time, the razor handle was actually bamboo, which was a nice touch, and it even came with a small can of shaving foam! The indicator lights in the elevator lobby were very clear, and when an elevator arrived, there was not only a red light but also a bell sound, so you'd never have trouble finding which of the six elevators had arrived. Very user-friendly! Most importantly, the value for money is exceptional! Thumbs up! 👍

GGuest UserI entered the hotel at the most tiring time at noon. There was only one housekeeper on duty at the front desk. Seeing my tired face, he served tea and greeted my luggage very attentively, then took me to see the booked room and introduced the room facilities. Because I like quietness, he promptly changed a more remote room for me, and repeatedly reminded me of the Ctrip benefits of this room type. Accompany me upstairs and downstairs to see the room and change rooms. Thank you Xiaoli. After checking in, I felt that the tap water was a bit muddy, and asked for an extra bottle of drinking water. Aunt Gu, the housekeeping sister, smiled and repeatedly asked if I needed anything else, whether I needed paper towels, toilet paper and slippers. The view from the room was great. It started to rain at night. I slept very well with the sound of rain by opening the window. I was drunk with oxygen. I got up early the next day and went to have breakfast first. There were 16 kinds of food, which was very rich. I only ate 8 kinds and will eat them next time. A ********* couple who traveled with me were also very surprised. This Wudang Mountain Treasure Hotel is very cost-effective. I will recommend friends to stay.

GGuest UserMaybe I started to pay attention to Dongcheng's hotels from now on. This is the hotel I stayed in. I felt that the layout was very reasonable. Watching TV, working and eating are arranged separately. The hotel laundry, gym and restaurant are well-equipped and the food is not perfunctory. The best thing is that the location is very convenient, close to the pier and backed by the pedestrian street. The service is also obviously well-trained. On the night of the 24th, I was extremely tired because of the long delay. The front desk receptionist was very considerate and arranged a comfortable room for rest.

MM299050****## Review **Ambiance:** Excellent. **Service:** Outstanding! Absolutely impeccable, everyone was incredibly thoughtful. **Cleanliness:** Spotless. **Facilities:** The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable! We booked both the 180-degree and 270-degree executive rooms, and both were fantastic. The river view was lovely, and the panoramic views were superb. The shower had great water pressure. **Executive Lounge Privileges:** Definitely worth it. The desserts in the lounge were exquisite and delicious, and the evening drinks were also very good. **Breakfast:** Quite ordinary; I wouldn't recommend paying extra for it. **Lunch:** We tried the Hong Kong-style buffet at Cui Xiang, which was pretty good and offered great value for money. We also ordered their拌面 (mixed noodles) with fried egg and rice wine in our room, and it was unexpectedly delicious. **Location:** Very convenient. Li Huangpo Road is right downstairs, and it's about a 1.2 km walk to Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, so a taxi ride is very cheap. Getting to Yellow Crane Tower, Gude Temple, or the Provincial Museum takes about 25 minutes by taxi, costing around 16 RMB. Overall, highly recommended! I would definitely choose this hotel again if I revisit Wuhan!

SSun111111Hotel Review: Somerset Future Centre Wuhan Date of Stay:** March 16-22, 2025 Overview:** Somerset is a charming establishment situated in a bustling commercial and residential district, conveniently located above a mall filled with shops and restaurants. With subway access just at the basement, it’s an ideal destination for both business travelers and vacationers looking to explore the area. Our recent stay in a two-bedroom apartment with a fantastic night city view was enjoyable, with a few minor hiccups that didn’t overshadow the overall experience. Check-In Experience:** The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and complimentary drinks, setting a welcoming tone for our stay. They provided detailed information about the hotel's amenities and nearby attractions. Room Quality:** Our two-bedroom apartment was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a stunning night view of the city skyline. The modern decor created a cozy atmosphere, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen area was well-equipped, with coffee machine, washer and dryer, making it easy during our stay. Amenities:** The hotel offers a variety of amenities, including a fitness center, sauna and jacuzzi. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the restaurant, with Wuhan noodles made to order. Location:** Located above a vibrant mall, Somerset Hotel provides easy access to a variety of shops and restaurants right at your doorstep. The subway exit in the basement makes getting around the city incredibly convenient. While the highway is nearby, the hotel maintains a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great place to unwind after a busy day. Service:** Overall, the service was excellent. Staff members were attentive and quick to address any concerns. A special shoutout to COCO who went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. She was proactive in ensuring we had everything we needed, making our experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, Manager APRIL deserves high praise for all the wonderful arrangements she made for our visit.  Conclusion:** Somerset Hotel is a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the city. With its friendly staff, great amenities, and prime location, we would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, yet convenient getaway. We’ll definitely consider returning in the future!

MM508644****Seriously impressed with the lobby tea bar! Not only do they offer a great selection of hot teas, tea bags, and filtered water for free all day, but the cups are spotless and readily available. They even thoughtfully provide little snacks. It's the perfect spot to relax and grab a warm drink to warm up and unwind before or after catching a high-speed train. The staff are incredibly attentive, always refilling everything promptly, so it's never out of stock. The attention to detail is truly top-notch.

KkillymikeQuanji Hotel, Xiangyang review I spent two nights at Quanji Hotel in Xiangyang, and I left with a mix of impressions some solid wins, one or two quirks, and a sense that this place knows what travelers like me actually want after a long day of sightseeing or meetings. First impressions - Exterior and lobby: Modern, clean, and uncluttered. The lobby feels calm, not trying too hard to impress you, which is nice after a long train ride. The check-in process was smooth, with staff who spoke enough English to help, but not so much that you felt talked down to. - Location: Pretty convenient depending on what you’re here for. It isn’t in the center of Xiangyang’s busiest streets, but you’re within a comfortable walk or short ride to key spots, plus there are eateries nearby that aren’t overhyped tourist traps. Room and comfort - The room itself was a solid 4-star vibe: tidy, well-lit, and surprisingly quiet for a hotel in what feels like a busy area. The bed was comfortable—firm enough to support a good night’s sleep but soft enough that you don’t feel like you’re lying on a board. - Amenities: Decent desk space if you’re traveling for work, reliable Wi-Fi, and a reasonable layout. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure and a practical layout. A few small things felt a touch “budget-first” like standard toiletries and a shower curtain rather than a glass enclosure—but nothing deal-breaking. - Cleanliness: Overall good. Housekeeping did a thorough job during my stay, and I didn’t notice any telltale corners being overlooked. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable dropping your gear and not worrying about dirt or mess. Service - Front desk and staff: Friendly and helpful. They stood by for recommendations on dining and local spots without turning the conversation into a sales pitch. When I asked for directions or a printout of an itinerary, they were efficient and patient. - Housekeeping: Prompt and discreet. No intrusions at odd hours, which I appreciated.

LLove ShrewsburyWow what can i say. This hotel is magnificent. As soon as you pull up to the Silu Tiansi Hotel you could see that it was going to be a good experience. Your luggage is collected outside whilst you check in at the beautiful reception. The staff were wonderful, especially one lady who was always smiling and very very helpful. Unfortunately I didn't get her name. We were given our room key and our luggage was taken to our room by a very polite gentleman. From the reception area to the rooms, this hotel is very clean, contemporary and remarkable. The room was also beautifully decorated and included a free mini bar. The shower is one of the most powerful showers I have ever used. They also have Dyson hairdryers which was a first. So my wife was happy. Our room included breakfast, but unfortunately due to our early flight we couldn't try it. But what we didn't know when booking, between 3 and 5 there was a buffet style snack area with drinks which was also included in the price. It was really nice after our long journey to have this included. The dining area was also very clean and contemporary. There is a restaurant on the hotel grounds which was fantastic. We ordered 5 dishes for 2 people thinking it would be small portions. They were 5 huge plates which were so delicious. We did finish them though after an hour of eating lol. After having a great night's sleep on the immaculately clean sheets we had to catch our flight at 5 am. Also included with this hotel is VIP transfers to the airport in a comfortable Mercedes people carrier. This would normally cost 70 yuan in a taxi. I have stayed in hotels all over the world. In London, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macau, Spain and many other countries. I have to say this hotel is one of the best I have stayed in for value. It was 399 yuan for everything I have said above, which is amazing. If you need a hotel close to wuhan airport, I highly recommend you try this one. You won't be disappointed. See you again in the future and Thankyou! 😀

HHuangbingchenFirst off, when we checked in, the front desk upgraded our room to one with an amazing view – big applause for that! 👏 Secondly, the rooftop terrace wasn't open during our two-day stay. Coincidentally, we ran into the hotel's general manager, who very enthusiastically invited us up to the terrace. Even though it was closed, the GM offered to open it up just for my partner and me, so we could sit and enjoy the scenery. My partner was absolutely touched, haha. However, the reason I didn't give a perfect score was this: The air conditioning only blows hot air! Hot air! Hot air! No matter which mode we selected, it was always warm air. We asked the staff, and they said it was centrally controlled for heating. But they didn't account for Wuhan's weather or the ceiling height in our room. We ended up sleeping with the balcony door open every night just to get some cool air in; otherwise, the room was incredibly hot and stuffy, making it very uncomfortable!!! We couldn't even use the air conditioning for our entire stay, and at night, the heat would literally wake us up. This is my first time giving a hotel's facilities a bad review. I'm sorry, but it was genuinely very uncomfortable.....
