No air conditioning so very humi and hot in room. Toilet was hard to flush. Plugs too far to charge on a table or stand. You need to unplug things to get closer. Overall better than the travel lodge and Premier inn nearby.

The room was clean and tidy with great natural light, and the bedding was comfortable, leading to a very restful sleep. The facilities were complete, and the soundproofing was good, so it was quiet overall. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, making both check-in and check-out quick and easy. The location is convenient for getting around, and it offers excellent value for money. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.
It may be one of the Haven Ports, but there's a lot more to Harwich than boats and water, as a stay at Premier Inn Hotel Harwich will tell you. We're great as a stopover if you're catching the ferry, but there's also plenty to do here even if you're not sailing away. Spend your morning wandering the picturesque streets of Harwich, stumbling across some delightful buildings that date back centuries. Or catch a train to Colchester, Britain's oldest town, to see the castle or visit the world-famous zoo. The Edwardian seaside town Felixstowe is nearby too. Then come back to the hotel for some tasty food at our Brewers Fayre restaurant and a lovely, comfy bed.
Such great views and character !
Really appreciated the kindness of the staff to allow me an earlier check in and they were very friendly and polite at all times.
Superior room with super direct sea views had all amenities required including wifi & cosy bathroom
I had a great stay in this hotel. Friendly and accommodating staff. Very clean and tidy. Food is amazing especially their breakfast. I was happy my room was on the ground floor coz i don’t think there is a lift. I has a nice view from my window too. Will definitely recommend. Worth my money.

I flew from Glasgow to London late at night and used this hotel, and it was incredibly convenient being directly connected to the airport. The room was spacious and clean. While it was nice to have a bathtub in the bathroom, the bath plug was broken, so I couldn't fill it with water. I tried to fix it myself, but when I removed the plug, there was someone else's hair on it, so I put it back. It was a shame that I couldn't contact the front desk for a repair or room change since I checked in so late.
Hotel was pretty clean and everything you need for a cheap hotel stay. Service was OK. There is a Brewers Fayre where you can get food, although we didn't try this. Be aware that you have to pay an additional £7.50 per day for parking.
Get the best of both worlds with a stay at Premier Inn Harlow. You'll find us in a quiet spot on the river Stort, yet the bright lights of London are within easy reach, as is Stanstead Airport. After a day exploring ancient Epping Forest or shopping in London's West End, try your luck at the Greyhoud Stadium. Then come back to our Harlow hotel for dinner at our on-site Beefeater restaurant before settling in to one of our new generation bedrooms, each featuring a bright modern bathroom and our super comfy, king-size Hypnos bed.
Location pretty grim as it’s next to the Dartford Bridge and Tunnel. But once you are in you can forget about that as the rooms are decent and spacious, the restaurant is excellent for an evening meal and the breakfast is good value particularly if you go for the meal deal for dinner and breakfast. A good stay overall.
Great hotel for this price all the things you need and breakfast a bonus has nice tvs although you’re unable to use Netflix or other services apart from Apple TV using the web browser. Showers are very easy and good to use as well as all the other things. These hotels come with more stuff then you would get in a premier in for a cheaper price very good.

BBambamGStayed overnight for a wedding in the area. Convenient online check-in & check out. Had to pay £20 for early check in. Parking was an extra £12 overnight. Great facilities including pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Plenty of choice at breakfast including dairy free milk. Friendly staff.
AAnonymous UserFirst thing I noticed was the excellent friendly service at the front counter. This service continued at breakfast the next morning, which was very nice - it was a menu-style breakfast where you order a breakfast you would like. Breakfast with salmon had a small supplement.
The room was mostly okay, although there were some stains on the bedsheet. Inclusion of earplugs was a nice touch as it is on the main road - I happen to like the city noise, but ended up using them to block out the noise of the fan (there is no air conditioning).
The bathroom had nice toiletries although we noticed that the cold tap ran hot for quite a while before it got cold.
Overall the stay was fine, but with lots of hotels available in Colchester it wouldn’t be my first pick to return.
GGuest UserGreat hotel with a lot of history to it, and as such a very nice place to stay at. Friendly and approachable staff. Unfortunately, I had booked two rooms without adequate facilities; one room did not have hot water and the other had a malfunctioning shower. Could have been bad luck, and I suspect the hotel management to be able to fix this issue.
PPeter KavanaghGreat hotel . Liked ny especial stay learned more aplied tge bettrr self . Nearly time to fall awsy and yes i packed the case myself and tge ohibe is seitcged ooff .
GGuest UserStaff were great all very friendly
Room was spacious wardrobe big enough for a 4 yr old to sleep in ( excuse my humour ) and very clean
Evening meal portions great food very tasty & staff looked after granddaughter well with keeping her occupied .
Breakfast was a little of a let down as under the warmer food was still cold and bacon very dry … cheese was dried up with the cold meats only I flavour yoghurt I wish I had ordered off the fresh cooked menu of eggs selection ( but I never left hungry )
Despite second paragraph I would defo return
GGuest UserI came back to this hotel having usually stayed here with my wife.
As I was on my own for two nights, I had a simple double room, with an external bathroom in the corridor opposite my room. The full English breakfast was more than excellent, and the staff were as usual very friendly, efficient and nice. The location is very good as its only a few minutes walk to Brentwood rail station, so transport into Essex or London is very easy.
I recommend this hotel as I have never had any issues when staying here.
GGuest UserHotel has a great location. Fabulous rooms. Only downside was the lack of staff which caused problems with the breakfast service. The individual staff members worked hard to compensate but waiting for 20minutes before a drinks order for coffee was taken and then the breakfast room didn't have enough seating for everyone. The quality of the food was really bad and the orders were wrong. I would recommend staying here for location but dont bother eating in the hotel. Standards have really dropped.
GGuest UserLovely modern room. Great wet room. We run out of toilet paper and no other left in room.
Bed was very comfortable. Hairdryer, iron and dressing gown in room.
Hotels fire alarm definitely worked as got woken at 7am to evacuate building. Security were very quick to sort issue, guest had lit candle in one of the rooms.
Used the swimming pool steam room and spa which was free.
Good variety of food at breakfast with good view of surrounding grounds.
Big car park free of charge
GGuest UserOur room was spotless , a comfy bed and a good shower , the pool+ hot room area were really good, but for reference there are 3 (members only) aqua aerobics classes a week which use the whole pool , and whose participants’warm up’ prior to the class -so it’s very busy to the class , there are a great selection of (pre bootable )classes , treatments and a well equipped gym (all obviously open to members ) , the meal options are delicious, and the staff are charming
