Very good location and creative use of pods. You have total privacy inside the room, and people are respectful so it is quite. The bathroom is clean and have a hairdryer. The bus stop #6 is 5 mins away and the airport shuttle and tours can pick you up from there.

The accommodation's hygiene and location were decent. BUT!!! A very dangerous incident occurred today when I was checking out. I want to alert every guest staying here. I needed to check out at 3:30 AM to catch a car to the airport. But I discovered the elevator was broken! The staff said the elevator was out of order and I needed to use the stairs. So, I immediately turned around to take the stairs, as there was an emergency exit right next to the elevator. I pushed the door open and carried my 28-inch luggage downstairs. It was an outdoor staircase, and I thought it would lead straight to the ground floor. However, when I reached the second floor, I found there were no more stairs down? Every door was locked, and I was trapped outside! This was in freezing Iceland!!! I then frantically knocked on a transparent glass window, calling for help. No staff member noticed me until the elderly lady next door was woken up by my knocking. I felt incredibly sorry for her, but I really needed to catch my flight. I was trapped outside for at least 10 minutes. So I looked for another staircase. When I got to the first floor, I found I still couldn't get out. I knocked again, and finally, a staff member noticed me and said I hadn't reached the right exit yet. I was so frustrated… I understand that elevator maintenance can happen, but why wasn't I informed a day in advance? If advance notice isn't possible, why weren't there clear instructions on which staircase to use? If the outdoor staircase doesn't lead to an exit, why isn't it closed or inaccessible at night? If I had missed my flight, or if I had been stuck on that outdoor staircase until morning, who would be responsible for my safety?

Stay 4D3N 1. Location: Hotel is located in the main shopping street, almost central in the downtown, 4 mins walk to either Bonus or Kronan supermarket, and about 10mins walk to the big church, the swan lake and harbourfront, also close the bus stop no 6 2. Amenities: Room cozy and spacious enough with pantry and all necessary kitchen wares, so we can do our own cooking here 3. Service: Staff are nice and helpful 4. Breakfast: Inculded, buffet type with many choices, croissant is great, has Skyr yogurt, also have other local specialists such as Icelandic fish, very delicious and we enjoyed very much, highly recommended

Seeing some reviews saying it was difficult to check in, I was a little worried and scared at first, but finally check in went smoothly, the day before check-in I received an email saying the password to enter the door (hotel uses electronic lock) The room is quite big, with a refrigerator, a kettle, a cup, a clothes hanger, a few hooks for hanging clothes, a cabinet for stuff, and a table and stool. We live on the 4th floor with a terrace, toilets are quite good, shower shower hydraulic power and draining water are all no problems. There is a supermarket 5 minutes walk~ The downside I think is the location, from the airport to the hotel, after getting off the bus to walk 10 minutes, I go in winter, there is snow underground, very hard! And the room lighting is darker and yellower, but it doesn't affect life very much! Just I like brighter. I didn't take any photos inside the room, only two landscape photos taken in the hotel😂

The value for money was pretty average, and the breakfast was quite basic. The room was actually pretty small; it was difficult to even open two suitcases. However, there's a bus stop right outside the hotel's restaurant, which was very convenient. You'll also find plenty of gift shops just across the street.

Beautiful hotel and excellent location (I had a view of the main square and parliament building). The staff was very helpful, professional and friendly. Food in the restaurant was superb with selected dishes from the local cuisine. The Spa design has taken inspiration from Icelandic nature in both colours, materials and textures, and is a fantastic addition to the experience with thermal pool, steam room, sauna, cold mist/rain and cosy relaxation areas.  Would highly recommend choosing this hotel when visiting Reykjavik, or using it as a base when exploring further around.

Lovely clean and spacious room. Nice little kitchen area with microwave to heat food. Buffet breakfast was OK. Personally not to my taste, but that is only my opinion. The 16 year old with us loved the waffles with the choice of toppings! The porridge which I do enjoy was good day 1 but very watery day 2. Choice of bread that could be toasted, margarine (Sorry I am a butter fan!), preserves, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, tomatoes etc. Free coffee wasn't great - again I'm a coffee snob and like a good cup of filter coffee. I did notice there was coffee to buy. The room was great and the staff very helpful. We were able to park right outside our room. Good location for Reykjavik by car, Thingvellir National Park etc. We travelled from here to both and also to Snaefellsnes Peninsula, which was worth the drive. Also we visited Rekyholt, Barnafoss and Hraunfossar waterfalls, Deildartunguhver Thermal Spring - try the tomato soup!

GGuest UserI visited in the summer, but I noticed a very large set of radiators on the wall that weren't turned on, suggesting it would be warm enough in winter. The hotel is very clean, and the decor is really nice. Having traveled to several European countries, I found the hotel's price to be very reasonable, and the room quality was excellent.

MMark A VHotel Muli provides a clean, modern, and welcoming stay that stands out for its exceptional service and quality amenities. Based on a two-night stay, this hotel is a superb option for travelers prioritizing comfort and value slightly outside the immediate city center. Highlights & Service The staff's attention to detail was a defining feature. Following an advance notification, the hotel upgraded our room and decorated it with ”Happy Birthday” balloons and a complimentary bottle of non-alcoholic fizz—an incredibly generous and much-appreciated gesture that demonstrated top-tier customer care. Comfort and Amenities The rooms are consistently clean and modern. A practical benefit is the availability of free tea, coffee, and hot chocolate in the reception area, which is perfect for warming up after a day of exploring Iceland. Food Experience The breakfast is superb. It offers high-quality ingredients, great variety, and is clearly set up to cater to all dietary needs, complemented by genuinely great coffee. Location and Verdict The location is ideal—it’s friendly staff are helpful, and it’s not too far to walk to the main town area, balancing accessibility with a slightly quieter setting. We would definitely choose to stay here again. Even saw whales in the bay, amazing!

KKEVINLEEWhile not in the absolute city center, the hotel's facilities, breakfast, and service are all excellent. Getting around is easy: there are several bus routes directly across the street that go downtown. For airport transfers, the Flybus service connects to a shuttle that drops you off right at the hotel. Good day tours and island excursions also provide convenient pick-up and drop-off from the lobby. A majority of the guests are American, and the restaurant primarily offers Western dishes.

Hhehe1216Compared to other European hotels, this one is quite nice. The overall service and atmosphere are good, but the breakfast isn't great. The room temperature was a bit cold, so I needed to wear a sweater to sleep. Also, the temperature couldn't be adjusted in the room.

GGuest UserLocation was right in the centre of town, in front of a popular taxi stand where many party-goers gather before heading home, so it gets REALLY noisy on friday/saturday nights. I usually fall asleep easily but the noise was keeping me up. Bring earplugs if you intend to stay here. Otherwise the location was really accessible, walking distance to bus stop 1 where the flybus from the airport would drop off, and many tours pick you up from there as well. Sunday night was actually pretty peaceful so maybe just stay there on sundays-thursdays. Room was also decent and clean. A bit small for longer stays but good for a couple of nights.

WWyw112The bus hostel is really near the airport and quite walkable to major sightseeing like 20-30 minutes. Yet the Windows curtain could not even cover it well so if you sleep near a Windows in summer (as the night will be very bright) You will affect by the light. There was men snoring really hard so it affect as well (though this is not about the hotel) I got nose allergy and the entire time I stay in the hotel and it makes me feel very sick. The self check in system is quite good, yet the reception will be locked after 9pm(?) I was coming back at 10pm and there was no staff help unlocking the main entrance which the password is different. They provide no information about this. A few of us (new guests or those coming back) are locked outside until a guest know the password show up. This certainly not a good service at all. The toilet has automatic light which is Environmental friendly I like it, but it went off when I only have a short time in the toilet, this really not quite good. But the location is good and there is bus travel tour pick up from here.

DDaniel CurtisI loved this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it! One of the outstanding features is that they give you a cell phone to use during your stay. The phone already has helpful apps installed for taxis, restaurants, etc. We are from the US so did not have international cell service so having this phone with us was helpful, especially for using maps. Reykjavik is a walkable city, and the hotel is located on the most popular street, so it has easy access to everything. The staff was very helpful and there is also a bar/restaurant onsite with amazing cocktails. There is an included breakfast buffet which featured hot and cold items. We had a room on the 4th floor that included access to large patio. We loved this feature as we could wake up and go outside to check the weather and enjoy the views of the mountains and water in the distance. The hotel was also extremely clean. Another nice touch was that they knew we were celebrating our wedding anniversary so when we entered our room, we found a bottle of wine, chocolate and romantic decorations!
