I was expecting a dormitory type, but there were private rooms with locks, so I had my own private space as long as I didn't make too much noise. The shared bathrooms and toilets were sufficient in number. The common area had everything I needed, including a refrigerator, microwave, cups, and disposable cutlery. I heard they have locations in other cities too, so I'd definitely like to try them out again.
The hotel is pretty standard, with enough space and it's clean and tidy. They offer free parking, but spots are limited and first-come, first-served. However, the front desk was very helpful and told us about free parking options nearby, which was great. Just a heads up, you'll need to pay a city tax when checking in.
Conveniently located at the entrance to Reykjavik.
Second-floor room with no elevator.
The room was spacious and had a bathtub, making this the only place we stayed after seven nights in Iceland.
Even luxury hotels didn't have bathtubs.
My husband was delighted with his first bath after driving about 2,000 kilometers.
The bathroom and washroom had poor drainage, so water overflowed from somewhere and flooded the entire place.
The room wasn't particularly clean, but
it's a good option as a hotel to stay before entering (or leaving) Reykjavik.
There are restaurants nearby, like KFC and Sabue.
There was no hair dryer in the room, but I think you could borrow one from the front desk if you needed one.
We realized this in the morning and had to go down to the front desk to borrow one.
Breakfast was minimal.
No hot meals.
Also, the serving area was small and crowded.
Nothing particularly noteworthy, but overall it was an average hotel.
By average, I don't mean badly; it wasn't the best, but it was passable.
I hope this review is helpful.
The biggest plus of this hotel is its direct access to the airport bus. It's also quite convenient, about a 10-minute walk to the bus stop for all day tours. Across the street, there's a public bus that goes directly to Rainbow Street, the Cathedral, and other places, costing around 38 RMB (about 38RMB by credit card) per ride. Just a 5-minute walk to the left from the hotel entrance, there's a fairly large supermarket where you can buy bread, sandwiches, fruits, yogurt, etc.
However, I really have to complain about the hotel rooms. The bathroom being small is one thing, but in the twin room, there wasn't even enough space for two suitcases. If we managed to open a suitcase, there was absolutely no room to walk. What's more, we had booked five consecutive nights and pre-paid the room fees through Trip.com. But on the third day of our stay, the hotel informed us they received a government tax adjustment notice and showed us a piece of paper, demanding we pay an additional tax. We were forced to pay an extra 27.5 euros, which is absolutely unreasonable!!
The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. The location is fantastic as it offers free parking and close to a famous bakery, Costco and Sky lagoon. The breakfast is a typical Nordic breakfast which is very nice. Staff are warm and friendly. I will definitely come back again.
The hotel is in a fantastic spot, right in the heart of Reykjavik's old town. You can easily walk everywhere from here, and the surrounding area is quite peaceful too. It's also great that there's a large parking lot behind the hotel.

Conveniences include electric kettles, and housekeeping is provided on request.
The room is a good size, very clean, warm comforter, nice TV, clean bathroom.
But! Poor lighting, no in-house telephone, no instructions for remote.
But, the receptionist young man is full of information, very well spoken, and took care of my needs.
The breakfast, an avocado toast, and coffee were excellent. So good!
I would recommend the hotel as its location is super.
The room was spacious and clean, shared bathroom was also clean. Good spread for buffet breakfast and good amenities to use in this guesthouse. There was a strict check in at 3pm but the host let us wait in the waiting area when we arrived at 2:30. It has nearby bus stop but everything is walking distance if you brace the weather.
While not in the absolute city center, the hotel's facilities, breakfast, and service are all excellent. Getting around is easy: there are several bus routes directly across the street that go downtown. For airport transfers, the Flybus service connects to a shuttle that drops you off right at the hotel. Good day tours and island excursions also provide convenient pick-up and drop-off from the lobby. A majority of the guests are American, and the restaurant primarily offers Western dishes.

CCynthia BurggraaffExcellent budget hotel. Good location couple of things to note probably @ Trip.com fault not hotel
Your booking doesn’t guarantee “free parking” you only get that if booking direct. Trip falsely advertise free parking. Also there was a surcharge to pay at check in approx 800 krona again trip won’t disclose this. For these reasons I avoided booking through trip my next booking.
Hotel was excellent and good fresh breakfast.
DDwi indah yuliasihVery good location, clean, complete with kitchen so i can make something to eat as i want.
Near bus stop, supermarket, restaurant and shooping place.
The reception also very helpfull during answer my request to. Extend with some problem for my card payment.
Thank you and i will back to the place on the Next
XXiangxiangingHands down the best hostel in Iceland! The common areas are incredibly clean, and the private bathrooms with showers are a huge plus. It's super warm inside – almost too warm! The bedding is really soft, and the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking.
SsindhupFoss hotel Reykjavik is a great place, conveniently located next to Bus stop 12 where all the tour operators pick up and drop off as well as Fly bus tdrop off and pick up. The hotel is very clean and safe. I have a fantastic experience with the staff in front desk and house keeping. I was a solo traveller and I asked guidance to the front desk on some places that i wanted to go within and near Reykjavik. Tge front desk staff, he gave me suggestions and helped me book the show ticket. He gave me clear instructions and seeing my lost look , even gave me the hootel phone numbers to call him in case I run into trouble. But thanks to his clear guidance I managed to navigate well and had a great day out. This hotel is about 15 to 20mrs from city centre by walk. One day I forgot my gold chain in the room. But the housekeeping folks while cleaning did not even touch any valuable stuff that i left. It is really a very reliable and safe hotel. They have a restaurant that serves delicioys food. I ate their fish and chips and chicken salad. Both were great. The breakfast has a good spread. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The best part is still the excellent service from the staff. My trip got rebooked and i had multiple correspondence with the staff and they were always prompt and reassuring. The only downside of the whole stay was my room. I got a corner room which had a slanted corner shape, meaning a triangle cut off from a rectangle. Though nicely laid out, i felt claustrophobic as the room size was much smaller. That room is not ideal, especially if not solo.
AAnonymous UserService provided by Ginta was excellent! Initially we were assigned to a room on the 3rd floor, which would have been impossible for us as there was no elevator and we had two big luggages. Ginta was very helpful and accommodating to our request, she called her manager and helped us to change rooms to the first floor.
We also had to leave early by 7:30am the next day for a tour, but breakfast officially only starts at 7:30am. Ginta helped to arrange and ensure we had breakfast before we left.
Location is great, less than a 5 minute walk to bus stop #8 and Hallgrimskirkja church. It was also easy to walk to Rainbow street, Laugavegur and other attractions.
AAnonymous UserI had a really nice stay at this hostel in Iceland. The location was great and it was easy to get around. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and warm, which was perfect after spending the day outside exploring.
AAnonymous User1. It's located outside the main city area of Rayong, and we had to circle a few times to find parking when we arrived at night.
2. There's a washer and dryer, but the dryer isn't very efficient. What made it worse was that even with everyone waiting in line, the staff insisted on drying a huge pile of dishcloths needed for the next morning. This caused the dryer to keep restarting, and we ended up waiting until 2-3 AM for our turn.
3. Breakfast variety is okay.
4. The room size is decent, but you can't open four large suitcases at once.
5. The room door is really odd; you have to slam it shut with a lot of force for it to lock.
Overall, it's a hotel I'd be willing to revisit.
