EEmzTravelerWelcomed by very friendly staff. Luggage Train were all organised in room after check in. Provided with options on room cleaning services. Free sake tasting, and tea in the evening is a plus. Good onsen areas. They even help me with my Yukata. Gifted us some free postcards, and also had a little birthday surprise gift in the room. Great location too.

TTY-Ngeasy to find, just 2 min walk from train station and a big building in your right hand side. Though not a new hotel with something in common area preferred to be renewed; in side the room is very nice, large room compared with usual standard.

GGuest UserThis was a truly satisfying stay. Before checking in, I had visited Shirakawa-go and was a little disappointed not to see any snow. But then, on my first morning at the hotel, I pulled back the curtains to find it snowing heavily! It was absolutely amazing. I decided right then and there not to go anywhere and just enjoy the snow from the hotel.
The hotel is a bit older, but the room was clean and tidy. I had upgraded my room, and it wasn't small at all. The area mentioned in the description probably just refers to the room itself, but the entryway was also very spacious, allowing me to easily open my large luggage. The indoor balcony in front was also quite large, perfect for a family to sit and enjoy the snow.
The floor-to-ceiling windows offered direct mountain views, with the river flowing right below. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the restaurant lobby were even more stunning – it was wonderful to enjoy the snow while dining.
Even the outdoor onsen provided beautiful views of the snow and river while soaking. The best part was how few people there were; both times, it was just me and my daughter, so there was no need to book a private onsen.
Behind the hotel, there's a walking trail. We explored it that day, and while the heavy snow made it a bit challenging to walk, it was incredibly beautiful and completely deserted. Every photo we took was a scenic masterpiece. Our shoes and socks got wet on the way back, but thankfully, we didn't feel cold.
There are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, making it very convenient to buy food and other necessities. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.
The staff were also very friendly. Although most of them didn't speak English, they used translation software, so communication was just a bit slow.

GGuest UserThe hotel's overall design is stunning, and the traditional Japanese ambiance envelops you from the moment you step through the door. The use of gold, red, and black makes the entire hotel feel elegant, dignified, and luxurious. The products in the on-site gift shop are also very unique and beautiful, making you want to buy them, and they aren't even particularly expensive.

Bbmblgloi could hear the traffic clearly on the 3rd floor, so they moved me to the 12th floor where it was mostly quiet. there was an electrical buzzing sound coming from the bathroom, i thought it was the lightbulb, but when i got in the shower it sounded like it emanated from the vent. i shut the bathroom door and it was almost inaudible from bed so i was able to sleep. definitely quieter than most of the japanese hotels i've experienced in this price range.

free water machine on every floor (i think). free coffee in the lobby. convenience stores nearby. expensive grocery store ~200 meters. regular grocery stores are a bus ride away, so it made more sense to me to get the buffet.
breakfast costs 1800yen when paying in-person, but when adding it on trip.com it was less of an increase in cost. it was disappointing because there were pictures of different kinds of fish online and on the picture in the hotel lobby, but they didn't have fish as seen kin the pictures. i still purchased the breakfast when i extended my stay because they had eggs, good vegetables, and ice cream. the fruit was in syrup so i'm guessing it was from a can. orange juice was from a carton. i didn't see any meat in the curry, just potatoes. overall, mostly cheap, but with a few tasty items of quality.
only 2 washing machines and they also dry the clothes so it takes ~2 hours. 400-600 yen for washing and drying. it dispenses detergent automatically, but the detergent was insufficient so i added my own and rewashed it; therefore, i was unfortunately hogging 1 of the 2 machines for several hours. plus it cost me well over 1000 yen.

Wwuzhi0603The room was spacious and conveniently located right after turning right from the JR station's south exit. The lobby offered complimentary drinks and beverages daily from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The ambiance was also excellent, perfect for a vacation. My only minor complaint is that they didn't provide face cream or facial cleanser, which I've become accustomed to at Japanese hotels. I almost ran out of the ones I brought myself.

GGuest UserAs expected from a well-established hotel! The front desk service was incredibly welcoming. The hotel itself is grand and upscale, with spacious and bright rooms. It truly lives up to its reputation as the tallest building in Hokuriku, offering excellent views from the room. I didn't get to try breakfast, but the hotel boasts 7 restaurants and a sky bar, which says it all. Every service you could think of is available. It's also very close to Kanazawa Station; you can reach the station entirely via an underground passage, so no need to worry about rain or sun! The room amenities are all-inclusive. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kanazawa!

Eella01010This hotel offers excellent value for money; it's very upscale and clean. The room with an extra bed comfortably accommodates three people, and the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, so no one has to fight for the bathroom. If you're driving, there's a dedicated parking lot next door for 1,000 yen per night. A skywalk connects the parking lot to the hotel's 3rd floor, making access very convenient. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Kanazawa.

GGuest UserThe Hotel Torifito was a very attractive and comfortable home from home for our five night stay in Kanazawa. The room was a good size, well appointed with all the necessary facilities and had a fine view over the city and surrounding hills. Especially noteworthy was the superb breakfast buffet which is the best we have experienced in Japan. The hotel is ideally situated in a quiet location, only a few minutes walk from the railway station and the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended all round!
