We were staying with a family of three. They don't have triple rooms, so the room is split into two. Even with two rooms, the price is still reasonable.
The rooms are mostly flat and well-maintained.
Close to Honjo-Waseda Station, free parking, a large public bath (with a Dyson hair dryer), laundry facilities, a microwave, free tea (coffee and apple cider vinegar drinks are also available until 10:00 PM), amenities, and samue-style pajamas are available for personal selection at the front desk (you can choose between memory foam and marshmallow pillows, subject to restrictions), and more. There's a large supermarket and laundry next door, as well as a delicious bakery, family restaurant, and convenience store nearby, making it incredibly convenient.
The front desk staff are all very kind and cheerful.
My only complaint is that the walls are thin, so you can often hear noises from the neighboring rooms (earplugs are provided, which is unusual). The lockers in the changing room by the public bath don't have locks. I haven't booked a room with breakfast yet, so I'd like to try that next time.
Connected directly to the station via a skybridge, with a 7-Eleven downstairs and plenty of food options near the station. The lobby also has a free coffee machine. The room size is relatively large for a Tokyo hotel, and the bathroom is separated into three areas, though the design is a bit strange. Instead of a desk and chair, they've squeezed in a coffee table and two single armchairs.
Our top choice every time we visit Tokyo, Japan! The price is much more affordable than comparable hotels within Tokyo, and the rooms are significantly larger. Plus, it's conveniently located near the station, making shopping, dining, and transportation incredibly easy. The overall stay experience is fantastic, and I've recommended it countless times! This time, I want to highlight the restaurants within the hotel itself. There's a Chinese restaurant on the 16th floor with exquisite dishes and incredible flavors! Every bite is a delightful surprise! There are also several other restaurants on the fifth floor that I'll definitely try on my next visit.
Really great for business travellers, and people who wants to stay off tokyo city centre. It is close to local attractions like ikebukuro where locals hang out during their free time! Also provides bus service contacts to Haneda Airport. It is near the metro too.
The last two days of the trip were spent at Kawagoe Prince Hotel
The service staff can speak simple English, and the supplies are placed in the lobby for you to pick up
The hotel offers buffets, afternoon tea, etc. It is common to see guests enjoying afternoon tea snacks in the dining area next to the lobby.
If you drive, you can park at the Seibu Railway Cooperative Parking Lot next to you. It's very cheap at 500 yen a day.
It takes about 10 minutes to walk to Koedo. There is also a famous udon shop called Tabelog nearby. I ate there for two consecutive days.
The location is very good. If you want to travel through it, you can stay here for a day to rest.
The location is great just a few steps from the train station, and nearby a big mall ”AEON”.
The self check-in and check-out, laundry machine, amenities, free coffee/tea and breakfast, and the room itself is perfect. This will be my choice again next time if I come back to this area.
The room is small but well-equipped. Japanese hotels are generally clean, except for being small. The breakfast is also very rich. I stayed for two days and had a good experience. It is also close to the subway, making it convenient for travel. It is a chain hotel. I stayed at Toyoko Inn these days in Japan, but not at the same store. This hotel is often visited by Japanese locals.
It's close to the station, so it's easy to find and I didn't get lost. I was there after an event at Saitama Super Arena, so it was great that it was close to the arena. However, the amenities included lotion and emulsion, so I bought them at a nearby convenience store. It was good that the convenience store was on the second floor, but it would have been better if they had lotion and other items. I'd like to use it again next time.
The service was good, but the staff's English needs improvement 😅. Free parking is available. We stayed one night while passing through the city and were very satisfied. The hotel has some unique rooms suitable for children.

GGuest User4 Senior backpackers in Japan ”stumbled” onto this gem of a Japanese inn next to the Arakawa River. Less than 10 minute walk from the Kami-Nagatoro station and 10 minute walk to Nagatoro Station. We chose location due to proximity to river and start of river boat downstream river ride-sites. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality shown throughout our two-day stay. We were late in coming out of the mountains of Gunma prefecture (2 hour plus train ride away) and called the inn to notify and were subsequently told that this was no problem for check-in and supper. Fortunately we made up time lost and got to the inn earlier that expected and enjoyed the serene tree-lined river and men's and women's communal furo (shower/bath also in rooms) with outdoor views before dining. Then...we were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of the dinner! A real treat to get a 7+ course Japanese meal featuring the specialty vegetables and protein of the region! Upon departure we chose to walk with packs back to Kami-Nagatoro Station, along the river, but the proprietor had the Inn van ready and waiting to take us to the train station. The included breakfast's were also multi-course Japanese style, with regional specialties.
Granted, the hotel is somewhat time-worn, probably seeing its zenith in the 80's and 90's but all the facilities were cleaning, usable and safe. All staff went made a great effort to ensure that we were enjoying the locale and the Inn. This location, in our opinion is much more serene and ”touristy” than the main area surrounding Nagatoro station but is only 10 minutes walking from that action. If opportunity arises, we will return. The Saitama Museum of Natural is just across the street but this large and modern facility was not open on our late arrival and on Monday. We left on Tuesday morning, but wanted to visit this place also.

GGuest UserHighly recommend!
We had 2 rooms, one with a private bath, the other was the special room on the 6th floor. The special room appeared to have the original materials and fixtures, which we appreciate. Everything was maintained very well. If I could suggest one thing, it would be having the carpet replaced in the room, as well as in the public spaces.
Breakfast had a good variety of western and Japanese foods. The fixed course dinner was exceptional, from the presentation to the taste.
One memorable experience for us was the table tennis. Our whole family had such a good time!
Last but not least, the service was top-notch. From the moment we stepped in the hotel, Kitabori was there to welcome us and ensured that we had everything we needed. His professionalism and attention to details truly enhanced our stay! We would definitely stay there again.
SSunnyThere was noticeable dust in various areas of the room, such as next to the sofa, clearly indicating that the cleaning was not thorough enough. Every time we entered the room from outside, a distinct damp, musty smell was noticeable, and my child kept saying it smelled like dust. Two bottles of mineral water are provided free daily, but asking for an extra bottle at the front desk costs over 100 JPY. There's a 'sky bath' (rooftop onsen) on the top floor, which is very popular with Japanese guests. It's a public bath, separated for men and women.

GGuest UserIt was close to the station and there were many shops, so I was able to move around safely even late at night. I arrived a little early, but they were able to accommodate me.
GGuest UserGreat staffing with great service.
Able to catch multiple free shuttles from/to Wado-Kuroya station. I just have to make a free call through the Trip.com app to contact the hotel, although the staff speaks little English, we were able to communicate using google translate, make sure to use simple language to make it easier for everyone if you are only English speaking.
Train at this station is not frequent so best to plan ahead.
Only to improve on is i wish we have bigger room for 4 people with the price we were paying. But overall it’s a nice traditional Japanese Ryokan.
HHOTMANThe customer service of all the staff was very polite and kind.
The meals are warm and delicious, such as meat and potatoes, stews, rice, and bread, and I would definitely come back again.
GGuest UserBooked this hotel for overnite stay while on the way to Nikko. The are is quiet at night time. The room is just a standard Japan hotel room, though size is bigger compared to those in Tokyo downtown area. The hotel spa (or onsen) is actually few mins walk away (and need to go up to footbridge to cross the road). We drove to the spa mainly because there is a restaurant that we could have dinner. As we arrived late, we didn't try the onsen there. The spa looks good and staff there is very nice.
ゆゆかぽんたIt's very close to the station and very convenient. There are many convenience stores, izakayas, family restaurants, supermarkets, etc. around the hotel, so it was really convenient.
I'd like to use it again when I visit Wako City.
