The hotel is surrounded by a nice environment. Opposite is the racecourse and you can see Fort Hill. The service is friendly. We wanted to take a taxi to Port Louis. The boss said it would take a while and showed us the route. We arrived in a few minutes and passed a church and a market. The snacks on the roadside stalls are very cheap. Super hotel, great location near transportation, restaurants, and the city center. The rooms are a bit dated and could use a renovation, but they are still very decent, clean, and spacious. The chocolates every evening are a nice touch. Breakfast is very good, but a bit repetitive (always the same items). The service is excellent. I'm satisfied.
The hotel-only water taxi is very accessible to downtown Port Louis (waterfront).
The front desk staff were friendly.
The facilities are somewhat satisfactory, although the traces of time are visible
The hotel is by the sea, and the backyard has an invincible sea view, but you cannot go down to the beach. The overall style of the hotel is more like the airbnb I have lived in Australia and New Zealand. The breakfast is relatively simple, but it is also a good experience to sit outside and enjoy the sea breeze.
