Very nice hotel, clean, fragrant and the staff service is very friendly. I was very comfortable and happy during my stay at this hotel. Drop off service to the airport is also provided which is very convenient for me and my friends who board the flight as early as 8 am. The food is also very delicious. Thank you Raia Hotel.
Stayed in a Delux Renovated Room which was still pretty rough for being vlassed as 'renovated' including a worn out seat, worn woodwork and a very old and mouldy fridge.
The Wifi was also very slow and the TV was not smart so you could not use your own streaming services or youtube.
Arrived about 4pm to be told that the restaurant closes at 6pm and does not reopen until breakfast when we were hoping to get an evening meal.
Lastly the cleaning was not great as the shower had a big hair ball on the floor!
The hotel location is very convenient, with easy access to nearby shop, which made my trip even smoother .The room was clean & comfortable.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I was impressed by its strategic location, perfect for business trips. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and modern amenities. The bathroom was a highlight, with a relaxing bathtub - a lovely touch!
The hotel's central location made it easy to get around Alor Setar, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Alor Setar

We booked for the king deluxe room. There were no updates coming from the hotel but when i called to ask for a decoration for my room, only then i knew that the room i asked for was already full. However, out of courtesy, they gave us a free upgrade room. The aircond was broken upon arrival and we told the staff and they fixed it as soon as possible. Overall it was a good stay. I would definitely repeat regardless of the issues.

The hotel is very nice. Despite the fact that the hotel is old, and, for example, in our room type, the shower and toilet were separate, and the washbasin was in the common room area, all other things compensate for it. The hotel is clean. The location is good, 7-10 minutes by car to the central beach, you can use the Grab app or use the free shuttle bus that runs 2 times a day between the hotel and Cenang Mall, which is located in the area of the central public beach. The hotel also has friendly staff. In addition, it is convenient that you can buy all sightseeing tours right at the hotel. What we liked the most was the very tasty and varied breakfasts, as well as the infinity pool, which is open until midnight. We recommendđđ»

The room allocated on the first night requires maintenance. We requested for a change the following morning and the staff were extremely attentive and offered us a better room. The general feel of the hotel is clean and peaceful. Customer service is second to none, and we would like to thank Mr Faiz and Ms Qamarina for their professional support and courtesy during our stay. We have no hesitation to recommend this hotel if guests are looking for a calm, peaceful, friendly and clean hotel in Langkawi.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful view, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Parking was very convenient and easily accessible for customers, which is a big plus. The receptionist was exceptionally helpful and professional, always ready to assist with any questions.
Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

The hotel is located in the suburbs, close to the airport, right by the road, next to a large tree. My rings were left there, and the front desk didn't say anything or return them. I recommend this hotel if you have many valuables with you; it's very good.
It was my first time staying at StarCity Hotel, and overall, the experience went very well. The hotel feels well-maintained and not old or run-down. The room was clean, and the mattress was very comfortable, which made for a good nightâs rest.
The staff were friendly and professional. Check-in was smooth and efficient, even though I arrived pretty late, which I really appreciated.
The only area that could be improved is the breakfast. The options were limited. The Ayam Bawang had already run out and was not refilled, even though it was only around 9:00 a.m., and the dim sum did not taste fresh. That said, the coffee was good, and the other food items were decent.
Overall, a pleasant stay with good service and clean, comfortable rooms. I would consider staying here again.

YYuanhuaruixiangRebak Island Resort & Marina, the sole hotel on Langkawi's Rebak Island, offered me an unforgettable vacation. If you're seeking a truly secluded sanctuary to connect with nature and escape the hustle and bustle, I wholeheartedly recommend this place!
The island's environment is simply breathtaking! Surrounded by refreshing scenery, there are plenty of trails to explore on foot. What surprised me most was the excellent ecological preservation here. The hotel even offers a guided one-hour nature walk every Sunday at 8:30 AM. Through this, I learned about many unique Malaysian flora and fauna â it was a truly valuable learning experience!
Beyond hiking, we could also cycle. The bay where the hotel is situated is also a significant stop for global sailing, adding a special maritime flair to the entire resort.
What truly warmed my heart during this trip was the hotel's service. The staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, and I sincerely thank them for that! Our package included dinner, and breakfast was a standard buffet with a wide variety of choices. The dinner menu also offered excellent selection, and both the taste and service left us very satisfied.
Even better, despite being on a private island, transportation to and from the mainland was absolutely no issue. There are several complimentary shuttle boat services daily, making it very convenient.
Of course, even in a perfect experience, there were some things to get used to.
1. **Soundproofing in wooden villas:** The hotel rooms are older-style wooden villas, usually two stories. If you stay on the ground floor, you will indeed hear the footsteps of guests upstairs quite clearly.
2. **Monkey neighbors:** Because the island's ecosystem is so thriving, we had quite a few monkey neighbors! Everyone needs to be extra careful and remember not to leave your room door open, otherwise, they might come in and âstealâ your food.
**Summary:**
Putting aside the soundproofing of the older villas and the âmischiefâ of the little monkeys, Rebak Island Resort & Marina earned my highest praise for its unparalleled natural environment, rich ecological activities, and thoughtful, attentive service. It was a soulful journey back to nature!
KKoey Mee HeeSecond visit to this resort within 3 months times, love the hotel and environment, because away from city, nature air, located on the hill side. Sometimes you may find monkey around. Simple authentic Malaysian breakfast. Love to be soak into swimming pool. There is partial have sun, if you ant to stay away from sun there is shade. You can simply order beverage or sandwich by the pool. This time our room is twin room, my friend said the bed to TOO soft for her. Isn't that great. Â Probably will come back in the future. Lets see .
GGuest UserI wish we stayed a few extra days at the Berjaya. Itâs really an enchanting experience to live in a wooden cabin in the forest. The staff is very friendly and will do their best to accommodate guests needs. Itâs convenient, beautiful, and super relaxing. I will strongly recommend the Thai restaurant on the water - try to reserve a spot for sunset! The restaurant on the beach also have delicious meals, but unfortunately, the service at that one is very poor. I can happily recommend this resort for families and couples!

I really enjoyed my stay at this resort! The pool is huge and very clean â I swam for almost 3 hours each day during my 2-night stay đ€.
My pool access room was super comfortable, clean, and beautifully designed. I also loved that thereâs a bathtub!
A few small suggestions for improvement:
1. It would be great to have street lights at the junction leading to the resort.
2. Adding a clear sign at the entrance would help, especially at night or during rainy weather.
3. Breakfast was okay overall. The English-style options were good, but the local dishes like fried kuey teow, fried vermicelli, and nasi lemak could use a bit more flavour.
Overall, I had a pleasant and relaxing stay â definitely a resort Iâd love to come back to! đŽđŠ
MMekChuI booked a garden-view room for three for my parents and myself. We had a very pleasant stay at Ombak Villa, thanks to the comfortable and spacious room, clean bathroom, and excellent service from the staff. The hotelâs location is ideal, as it is close to the airport and major attractions in Langkawi, and also conveniently surrounded by good local restaurants.
GGuest UserWe enjoyed our time here though some improvements could be made. The breakfast food area is too built up with people getting in each others way. There were only 2 coffee machines which weren't enough and we didn't enjoy the variety as much as other hotels. We found the fruit quite dry and the warm food not to our liking though that might just be personal preference. The food in the Thai restaurant was fantastic and would recommend eating there at least once. The pool area is lovely with fantastic views and a nice evening atmosphere. We didn't really use it during the day as there is nowhere near enough loungers for the size of the hotel. There is a shuttle service to the beach or you could walk it in around 4-5 minutes. Lovely beach with enough beach bean bags to go around but only about 6 parasols so not enough to go round. There's a beach shack which would have been nice if it was open more than just a couple hours in the afternoon. Other vendors not too far down the beach.
Hotel room was a nice and spacious. A/c a little noisy. Clean but not spotless. Bed was comfortable.
Staff were very welcoming and hosptable throughout.
Hotel is in a good location for restaurants and about 12 minutes walk to the main buy street. Enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there again.l
GGuest UserThis is my second time and never fail me. Enjoyed the lovely breakfast spread had a good chill time at the beach . Always recommending friends over
AAiza ZâExceptional Stay â Amazing Breakfast and Perfect for Shopping!â
âOur stay at Adya Hotel Langkawi in Kuah was absolutely fantastic. The highlight every morning was undoubtedly the best breakfast buffetâthe variety was incredible! We especially loved the live station where you can eat fresh roti canai and actually see the making of roti canai right in front of you. It was served hot and crispy, just the way it should be.
The room itself was a pleasant surprise. We stayed in an Executive room which was a huge room, giving us plenty of space to relax without feeling cramped. We also had a nice view from the room overlooking the town and the sea, which was particularly beautiful during sunset.
Location-wise, this hotel is a shopperâs dream. It is extremely easy to go shopping at HIG Supermarket (Haji Ismail Group), which is just a short drive away for all your duty-free chocolate and kitchenware needs. Plus, there are plenty of other shops and eateries within walking distance. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in Langkawi!â
XxDanielNice hotel with real potential, but it feels neglected and needs maintenance.
The rooftop pool is pleasant with great views, though the big umbrella is very rusted and it closes at 7 pm, a bit too early.
The room was excellent: large, spacious and really beautiful.
Breakfast is a highlight, very good selection and the pancakes were outstanding.
Staff is hit or miss: some are friendly and helpful, others seem bored and uninterested.
The rooftop restaurant idea is nice, but service was poor. We waited a full hour for dinner while later arrivals got served first, very frustrating.
Overall: good bones, great room and breakfast, but inconsistent service and visible wear and tear hold it back. Could be excellent with some care.
TTaishuaidehenOverall, pretty good. The hotel's exterior is appealing, and with a limited number of rooms, it's relatively quiet. However, I'd recommend checking multiple platforms before booking. I paid over 670 (RMB) for my stay, only to find out later that it was cheaper on other sites đ . It feels like Trip.com often charges more than others for everything.
