The hotel service was excellent. Hani was very quick with check-in, Wade helped with our luggage, and Michele brought us fruit – everyone was so friendly! The hotel lobby is grand and elegant, and the public areas are clean with no strange smells. The guest rooms are spacious and airy, spotlessly clean throughout, and the bedding is soft and comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. Overall, it offers fantastic value for money!

I initially chose another hotel, but wasn't satisfied. Then I came to Lan Ou Hotel, and it felt like a breath of fresh air. The room has a big bed and a comfortable sofa to lounge on. It's located next to a residential area, so it's super quiet at night for sleeping. They even offer Fujian local snacks for breakfast! The hotel front desk service is also very attentive; they were still actively answering questions even near midnight. I'd recommend this place to anyone flying in or just arriving in Fuzhou. Plus, it's close to a street full of delicious food. Definitely avoid hotels near the highway; they're noisy at night. In short, if you're in Fuzhou, choose Lan Ou!

We booked a 270° river view room. When we arrived, the previous guests had just checked out, and the front desk upgraded us to a suite directly. It was a bit of a shame, actually, because I originally wanted to book a suite when I made the reservation, specifically for the river view from that particular room. Luckily, everything else went smoothly. The elevator system in the hotel is a bit cumbersome; you have to go from the underground parking to the ground floor, then from the ground floor up to the 40th floor to check in, and then switch elevators again to go up to the 54th floor. However, there's a dedicated service for delivering food orders directly to your room. Another reason I booked this hotel was for the gym, but due to my schedule, I couldn't make it there, which was a bit disappointing. I missed out on the 'sky gym.' I didn't try the hotel breakfast, so I can't comment on its quality. The hotel's surroundings are very convenient, making it easy to get to various places. Every single staff member at the hotel is exceptionally good. No matter who it was or where they were, if they saw you carrying something, they would proactively ask and offer help. The turndown service was also excellent. Setting aside the hardware, their service awareness surpasses even the Waldorf Astoria in Xiamen. Attendant Xiao Yang's service was excellent and very thoughtful. The housekeeping auntie also had an outstanding service attitude; towel replenishment was prompt, and trash was collected in a timely manner. Really excellent. Special praise for the 'sky shower' – the water pressure was impressive. It was a very comfortable trip overall. However, there might be a significant mite problem with the hotel bedding. My baby developed rashes, which was a bit upsetting. Everything else was quite good.

My stay was very pleasant. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable, making for a truly relaxing experience. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh, delicious food, catering to diverse tastes. The front desk and room service staff were attentive, responsive, and friendly. The location is excellent, right next to a subway station, making transportation incredibly convenient. There are also many authentic local restaurants nearby, so you can easily explore local cuisine right outside the hotel. Overall, it offers great value for money and I highly recommend it!

Our stay at RYD exceeded all expectations, a solid 120%! The floor-to-ceiling windows in our room offered breathtaking, expansive views of Gulangyu Island, perfect for catching both sunrise and sunset. We enjoyed the clear blue sea by day and the twinkling lights by night. The staff were incredibly attentive and warm throughout our stay, providing meticulous service. They even extended our check-out time so we wouldn't have to rush for our train, which was a thoughtful touch. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel's location made getting around a breeze. With amazing views and heartwarming, personalized service, it's convenient for all your travel needs. We'll definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Xiamen! I specifically flew to Quanzhou for the local cuisine, so I picked this hotel located on a food street, without breakfast included. It's perfect for solo travelers. There's a great local vermicelli soup shop nearby, which is perfect for breakfast. While the shops on the food street mostly cater to late-night crowds, there are plenty of delicious local specialties in the surrounding blocks. It's in a bustling area with excellent transportation links, making it easy to get to attractions around Zhongshan Street. Even if you're not into sightseeing, staying at the hotel is great too – the rooms are spacious and well-equipped, the lobby on the first floor is quite striking, and the service is very thoughtful. They even let you know in advance if some rooms might be affected by noise at night. It's definitely a hotel with amazing value for money!

Best hotel in Fuzhou. Nicely located with a tranquil and peaceful environment. Service was great, especially the concierge. They are very helpful and service oriented. Every staff greet their guest whenever you enter. Room service was prompt and responsible. The West Lake view was awesome. Good for morning run and evening stroll. A lively and historical place. Places of interest were located nearby, museums, panda park, walking streets. Ample of local restaurants and stores. Local people were kind and friendly. I will stay again in this hotel for my future trips to Fuzhou.

This Southeast Asian homestay specially selected for taking pictures completely exceeded expectations! Large areas of white walls, arched doors and windows, tropical green plants, low saturation retro color matching, no filters directly out of ins wind blockbuster. Hidden in the alleys of the ancient city, quiet in the middle of noisy, very close to various attractions, no need to take a taxi. The room has excellent lighting, the mattress is moderately hard and soft, the sound insulation is very good, and the night sleeps peacefully. The boss is very caring, and he will respond in time to any needs, and also share the niche punch-in seat. In Quanzhou, you can feel the heritage of the ancient city and the relaxation of the island holiday. I have already recommended it to friends who want to come to Quanzhou!

Every nook and cranny was perfectly cleaned, making the stay very reassuring. This attention to detail is a huge plus. The environment was also excellent. The overall decor was simple and comfortable. Public areas were spotless, and the hallways were quiet, not noisy at all. The room had great natural light and was spacious, making it very pleasant to stay in, with no cramped feeling whatsoever. All the travel fatigue just melted away. And the service was incredibly attentive. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and all the staff members had wonderful attitudes – gentle and patient. They responded promptly to any requests, making me feel welcome and at home throughout my stay. In summary, I couldn't find a single fault with the cleanliness, environment, or service. It offers great value for money, suitable for both leisure and business travelers. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit. Highly recommended!

Loved this beautiful, traditional hotel in Fuzhou. The staff was super accommodating to my dog and extremely helpful. Parking was very convenient right opposite the street where the hotel was in. One note, while the hotel itself was super pet friendly- my dog was even allowed to come with us to the breakfast restaurant and they made sure to arrange a quiet spot- it should be noted that the hotel itself is in a pedestrian area that doesn’t allow dogs. It would have been nice to know this beforehand. When I let the concierge know that we weren’t being allowed into the street, he immediately came running to assist and we were allowed to walk from the hotel and back during our stay, but it would’ve been nice to know beforehand. The staff was kind enough to tell us where in the area I was allowed to walk my dog. The room and amenities were beautiful though and other than the doggy inconvenience we loved our stay. They even were quick and helpful to send back the jacket my mom had forgotten in the room.
