We booked this place because it was relatively cheaper compared to other motels in Taupō. At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect since it’s not right on the lakefront or in the CBD, but it’s only about a 10-minute drive from the main area. (Car def needed ! 🚗³₃) What a pleasant surprise! The resort is huge, and the room was very clean, comfortable, and cozy. The facilities were incredible and all included with the stay: two heated pools, two jacuzzis, a sauna, tennis courts, football fields, squash courts, and a gym. Everything was well maintained, and the facilities are open from 6am to 11pm, which was fantastic. There are also restaurants and bars on-site, which were great. We didn’t try the breakfast, but they offer a $35 buffet breakfast that looked really good. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to many of Taupō’s attractions, including the geothermal spas, Huka Falls, and the prawn park. Overall, this accommodation exceeded our expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taupō!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! We chose their best room this time, and it was incredibly spacious with amazing views. The parking lot is also huge. We stayed for four nights and three days, and we'll definitely be choosing this place again on our next visit!

The room is just infront of the lake!! Nice to have a walk in the evening and morning! Room is clean!!

The hotel is in a great central location, making it super easy to get to all the attractions we wanted to visit. The breakfast was really good too, and I appreciated that it was served a bit longer than other hotels, until 11 AM. Plus, there are tons of restaurants nearby, both Chinese and Western, which was very convenient.

While the TV and bathroom in the room were a bit dated, I don't really use the TV anyway, so it didn't bother me much. However, I think the view was absolutely stunning. My friend and I really enjoyed the ambiance, and the ground-floor lake view room had a backyard that opened directly onto the lawn. On the afternoon of our check-in, we not only enjoyed the scenery but also stargazed and admired the moon together that evening, so I had a great time.

Wow! We go upgraded to two bedroom apartment which was really handy since it has washer/dryer plus air conditioning in both bedrooms and open plan living area. Very clean and modern apartment with good appliances (Bosch cooktop, oven, dishwasher, washer and dryer). The apartment is sound proofed. They also have 4 varieties of Zealong Tea Estate teas along with the Zealong cups plus coffee pods. The hotel is next to the lake and shops so it’s quite convenient. My only issue is that outside of night time sleeping hours, the air conditioner would turn off by itself after a few minutes. Other than that, I really enjoyed staying at this hotel and would recommend it to others.

The room we stayed in (3 bedroom townhouse) was part of an old motel next door that was acquired and integrated into Quality Inn Acapulco. Its very old and dated, much of the facilities are ran to their life end. That said, the motel is clean and convenient.

Initially, we were given room 101, but it was too noisy due to the external air conditioning units facing an inner courtyard of the building. Eventually, Chris moved us to room 412. Even though it was next to the laundry room, it wasn't nearly as loud, and we were finally able to get some rest. The room is very spacious, and the beds are large and comfortable. The shower pressure was fantastic. We had a pleasant stay. Thanks, Chris!

The front desk staff were very clear about the room's location and driving directions, even circling it on a map for us. They also turned on the AC/heating before we checked in, which was a very thoughtful touch. We received cookies and milk upon arrival. The room floor wasn't very clean, but the bedding was spotless. The room description stated a 1.51m wide bed when I booked, but it wasn't that wide in reality. The restaurant's food was delicious and the service was excellent. Although it's close to the airport, it's not noisy at all; I didn't hear any airplane noise after checking in.

Breakfast is not delicious, do not have breakfast, there are ants and bugs in the room, friends in the same group have been bitten, must pay attention, the room layout is OK, the cleaning is also clean, the front desk brother is very handsome, the service attitude is also very good
