Daynice Hotel

Wife (and her side of the family) and I spent a night at this hotel during Chuseok (i.e. Korean Thanksgiving). We got a standard double room, which was a good size. The pictures of this room on websites are accurate, as of Sept 2021. The room is basically separated into 3 areas: the bedroom area, a kind of small sunroom, and the bathroom area. The small sunroom is not open-air, and it's not a balcony. It's just a small room that is partitioned off by glass sliding doors, and that has a 2'x4' window that opens quite generously. The room is very clean, given that the hotel is right next to the beach. However, there is paint peeling off of the wall, near the floor, which pulls the room down by a 1/2 bubble, at least. The other detractor is the bathroom area. The sliding door either closes the toilet area, or the shower area, but both of those areas cannot be closed off at the same time. Furthermore, while a person in the bedroom area cannot see anything happening in the bathroom area, there is no solid door blocking off that bathroom area, and so just about any sound made in the bathroom will be heard by those in the bedroom. The location of the hotel, just next to the beach, is really great, and the view out the window of our 9th floor room was really a treat. Breakfast was not included in our rate. In fact, we are pretty sure that breakfast is not offered at all these days, due to covid. There are some places just next door to the hotel where you can rent sport scooters for $14 per 30 minutes. Pretty fun. Overall, even though we paid about $150 all-in for this room during Chuseok, we thought it was worth it. Certainly $75 all-in per night would be a very good price if you're just looking for some beach time during the summer. 4/5 bubbles

Oceanview Resortel

This hotel is getting a bit run down. The price in the off season, therefore, was great at 53,000 won per night. Rooms are big, a/c was good and new, beds and extra mats/blankets were clean. Bathroom a bit run down. BUT, we were sick of getting sand all over us at nearby beaches, so a day at the clean, empty (of people) outdoor pool was very nice. I didn't see another hotel in the area with a pool.

I was assigned to a room with a good view and I was healing well. The view was good and there was a grilled clam on the first floor. I'll stop by again next time I go to Daecheon.

It was nice that the air conditioner was already turned on when I checked in, and the room was nice and clean. It was also close to Daecheon Beach.
Mud Beach Hotel
4.1/527 Reviews
Daecheon Mud Beach Hotel, I believe that an acquaintance with a good view made a reservation, arrived through the blizzard, threw away the bag, had a light lunch, had a cup of tea, and then entered the hotel again after about two hours, It's strange. The room is cold? Is it because I didn't pick the key? Let's eat mud again, and even though I ate samhap and soju in the alley, the floor was cold cold! Is it the manager? Is it the pants boss? Or the arch? Maybe it's because the temperature was raised a while ago, but the floor burned? Can't the temperature rise more? Grow up with a good curtain? Should I go and pick and fight while drinking? Let's stand up after conflict? I'm sorry for not being sincere in the morning. A word? Even if the guest is cold, he just goes over. Don't go to the Daecheon Mud Beach Hotel, run by this arch. It's cold, so only a cold. Unlucky 12/23 night
