If I could give this business as well as the management at this business no stars for unprofessionalism, I would. I had family members who booked a stay at this hotel for our wedding last weekend. Even after calling and confirming that having pets on location would be acceptable and even after paying the pet deposit, once they arrived, they were told absolutely under no circumstances would they be staying on the property with the animals(even though they are kenneled as needed), and they were asked to leave WITHOUT a refund. Whatever policy you are saying you have, while it was not communicated, I can understand, but without refund??? When I attempted to call to resolve this situation, not only did the manager who answered the phone admit that she was in the back and didn’t realize any of this had occurred, and only after the employee encouraged the guest that night to go ahead and contact the manager “because she won’t care that you’re upset.”), she put me on hold, then came back on the line to tell me, “well if I remember correctly, the guest’s demeanor was not okay either.” You just told me you didn’t know any of this had occurred, and now you’re telling me “if you remember correctly”…also, how exactly should one, who is from out of state and just traveled a great distance, feel after being told a) they wouldn’t be getting a refund despite this miscommunication on the business’s end(it was news to her that pets couldn’t be left unattended..even in a kennel.. when she mentioned she was in town for a wedding), and b) they would have to find another place to stay effective immediately? Irritated at the least, in my opinion. Lastly, instead of attempting to come to a resolution or even apologizing, I was hung up on. Whatever you do, read reviews for this location before you book a stay with them. I wish I had before I encouraged them to book a stay here
