No complaints whatsoever, apart from the hot weather. The location is fantastic, and the environment is stunning – it truly felt like a scene out of the 'Wizard of Oz'. Jintan Beach is right downstairs, perfect for taking the kids to catch small crabs and collect seashells. However, compared to Yintan Beach, the water quality here is slightly inferior. On the bright side, Jintan offers better value for money, and most importantly, the sunsets here are absolutely breathtaking. The swimming pool downstairs is also excellent – clean and well-maintained. Dining options nearby are plentiful, and if you don't feel like going out, you can easily order food delivery to your room.

We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is ideally located: next to the pedestrian street and lively street food area in the evening, close to the river for wonderful walks, and surrounded by restaurants, small shops, and charming authentic alleys. It is also beautifully decorated, both in the common areas and in the rooms. In the common areas, there is complimentary tea, coffee, traditional clothes to try on, a washing machine, and a dryer available. As for the room, it is beautiful, spacious, and clean. Lastly, the staff are very kind and helpful, truly flawless!

Highly responsive and well catered to our needs and requirements. Would recommend to anyone thinking of finding an accommodation in the area. Front desk was very helpful with all our queries. Around 15 mins drive to main city areas, so not super central but Didi in the area is very convenient, had no issue to get a Didi at any time.

The accommodation was lovely. Right next to West Street but a little further up so it didn’t feel overwhelming at night. (Could only hear very distant music on a Friday night and I have a feeling that’s similar in all the hotels in the area). Loooovely girls at the front. They did their best with their English and I did my best with Chinese and we got there in the end. Gave me tips on how to get around by bike and tried the best to make me feel welcome (I was travelling solo). Clean rooms. The building is a bit old but like most building in the area. The rooms were super super clean though so I was very happy about that. This was the view from my window ＜3

Mochi Luxury River View Resort (Xingping Ancient Town, Yangshuo) This hotel boasts a fantastic location right next to the pier. It's just a few minutes' walk to the scenic spot featured on the 20 RMB banknote, and Xingping Ancient Town is a mere 3-5 minute stroll away. Chaobanshan Pier is also incredibly close; you can reach it quickly by electric shuttle, which is super convenient! The round-trip boat ride from Xingping Chaobanshan Pier to Nine-Horse Fresco Hill is a must-do. This route covers the most picturesque section of the Li River, including the famous landscape from the 20 RMB banknote and the Nine-Horse Fresco Hill itself. A one-way journey takes about 50 minutes. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and tidy. The best part? From the balcony, we could even see the iconic landscape featured on the 20 RMB banknote – absolutely stunning! The proprietress was incredibly thoughtful and even specially prepared breakfast for us! We were all extremely satisfied and would definitely love to come back again!

The room felt refreshingly clean and tidy upon entering. The facilities and equipment showed signs of regular maintenance. The owner was very polite and genuinely kind! It was definitely great value for the price, and I'll definitely come back next time!

Would stay again! Service: Friendly & helpful receptionists. Helped us book ebikes for 35 yuan each per day. Helped us booked tickets to Impression Liu San Jie show with a discounted price! Helped us enquire around about the tickets for Dragon Parade as well. Gave good recommendations & very happy to answer any questions. Location: nice quiet area with mountain views. Love the village, lots of cute cafes nearby. Less than 20 mins ebike to West Street. 5 mins walk to the famous Chaoyang Dam. Right in the middle of the Shili Gallery route. Room: clean & very spacious with beautiful view. Breakfast was delicious & plentiful. Overall, VERY good value for money.

Had a wonderful 2 nights stay at this home stay. Owner drove down to fetch us from the drop off point. Goid service otherwise we had to carry our luggage up slope. Freshly ground coffee was wonderful but more wonderful is it is free! Dinner was great too with many choices. Chose the bamboo chicken and rice. They even do our laundry and call us when it was done. This counts a lot in my books. Strongly recommend this place for all my friends.

Spent Christmas on Weizhou Island, staying three nights. Arrived on the island at 2 PM on the first day, and the hotel sent a car to pick us up. After enjoying the complimentary afternoon tea, we headed out at 4 PM to take photos at Xiashiluo. We had dinner at the hotel that evening; although a bit pricey, the dishes were absolutely amazing 👍 The second day was dedicated to whale watching. I went on two trips and actually saw them! The captain mentioned that the success rate for whale watching is 90% from March to April. On the third day, the sea was too rough for water sports (over 7-level winds), so we rented a car to tour the island. I highly recommend checking out ”Huan Dao Bookstore” and ”Jingye Restaurant.” Hotel highlights: The service was very prompt, and the pool was heated. I went for a swim every night… it was wonderful, swimming while admiring the starry sky.

For this price point, this Hotel is amazing. Don’t go in there and expect luxury. What you get is a good night sleep and that’s it. Room was somewhat cold and AC remote didn’t work, but I didn’t bother asking for batteries. Shower pressure is on the weaker side. You get a big bed, but a tiny table. Shower Gel and Shampoo were present, but no soap, so I did do with Shower Gel. There were some traces of mold, but not really something that chased me out of the door. There were no strong odors and you get 2 free bottles of water. Wifi had a little of problems as the instructions and the actual PW are not up-to-date. So ask for the Wifi PW at the front desk. It’s in walking distance to the 2 Rivers and 4 Lakes Scenic Area as well as the Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area. And with the electric bikes nearly everywhere, you can reach Reed Flute Cave in 20 minutes. As I didn’t prepare enough, I didn’t manage to visit the the rice terraces, but they are the least impressive this time of year. So the regret is not to overwhelming.
