The room seemed to have been renewed and was beautiful. The building is not new but very clean. The staff was also kind and nice. I booked a room with a lake view, but it was a little disappointing that the parking lot was in front of me.

I was upgraded to their largest room, complete with an ocean view and a private bathroom. It was absolutely fantastic; everything was perfect. They also offer free bicycle rentals. Parking is available for a fee, but it's incredibly convenient, which is a huge bonus in Japan where parking can often be a major issue.

Location is about 15 minutes walk from train station, 8 minutes by bus or 5 minutes by taxi. Beautiful hotel with good bath facilities and breakfast. Clean and service was great.

The hotel's courtyard is exquisite, the hot springs are average, and the food is average. The best thing is the location and courtyard. It is an old building and the service is good.

One night and two meals, I almost cried after eating, and it cured my problem of not eating fish. Their mixed soup requires special clothes, and there are very few people. The hotel also has a shuttle bus, see the time in the picture below. I always go out and take the bus to Matsue next door. There is no hot water in the bathroom of the room, and there is no hot water in the shower. Is it my personal problem? The projection of Shimane and the hotel's promotional video in the mixed soup has no sound, so disappointing. The Shimane snacks given by the hotel for two days were all robbed by the deer in Miyajima, so cruel. 😂
