The front desk held my bags while I went on an overnight excursion. When I came back, there was a giant cockroach on my bag that jumped into my leg. The front desk staff saw the incident and when I asked them to kill the cockroach they just shrugged and half-heartedly said they would spay the area later. The room was also tired and the sheets had burn marks on them.
The breakfast was good and a good deal for the price, but the hygiene issues were so severe that my friend and I canceled our second booking after returning from Bhaktapur and changed hotels.
Close to the Big Buddha, the Big Buddha can also be seen on the roof. The interior of the hotel is good, but the surrounding environment is a mess, but it is the same throughout Kathmandu. And not far from the airport
We spend 4 days at Lavie hotel and we enjoyed our stay. Allthough the road is quite busy, after 10pm the traffic slows down heavily and the traffic noise disappears. We went several times to the early morning walking ceremony around Bouddhanath Stupa which is only a 10min walk from the hotel.
The staff is great and we would like to thank Ms. Dawa in particular for her great support. She helped us to buy tickets for a local music festival and supported my wife when she didn’t feel comfortable. Thanks, Dawa!
The room and area was good, but I experienced a scam provided by the receptionist.
I have consulted the tour advice with the reception, the guy provided me an excellent two-day rafting package that called by a tourist agent.
In the tour, that was a disaster, the tour only half-day with 1/3 distance of his presented tour.
The cost he charged me is almost 5 times of the normal price in internet. I would prefer that should be a very special tour and different from I found in internet.
That was totally scam and waste my time and money, it was extremely affect my plan and mood. I would report this experience to the concerned parties. It really a shame of Nepalese.

The hotel is clean and hygienic, and I have met some friends who have lived there for a long time. The fried cauliflower for breakfast is better than fried chicken. I admire the chef's cooking skills. The guy at the front desk of the hotel can speak Japanese, and he can switch communication when English gets stuck. The Stuff I met greeted me with a smile, very nice.
Best hotel. Best owner. They welcome you very warmly. Kind. I really love it. It feels like a real family. At night, I opened all the doors and windows and slept. It feels good. Those who can trust rural people 々 from the first day, please stay here. I think it will float when I try to protect something strange. I want you to enjoy nature with your whole body and this rural area. The dog is cute.

The boss’s daughter-in-law is from Hong Kong, China. Haha, the hotel’s travel packages are quite conscientious and they kept introducing us. But their tour guide was a bit annoying and kept asking for tips to the driver.
