Poor experience at this hotel. First room service argued they had cleaned the room when they had clearly not and it took photographic evidence for staff to believe us. Also discovered that their check in staff charged the full price room as a deposit ($304) but only mentioned charging $70 at check in; this is an issue as the room was prepaid.
The room itself was comfortable and the pool and gym good. But poor and incompetent treatment by staff would put me off choosing to stay here again.
I booked a Cabin with Kitchen, It did not mention, the Shower and toilet are shared.
When I take the option in Trip.com, The rest of Cabin did mention shared Bathroom and Toilet, Mine did not mention it was shared.
The staff told me to upgrade it to other Carbin with Own bathroom. I said, it should not be a upgrade, it should included. I said : May I talk to the manager? She said, results will be the same.
If it is a shared Bathroom, it should state in decription.
Other than this, everything is fine and good.

The hotel is by the sea, the sea view room, the sea is beautiful. The service is very good and very clean. The balcony of the room is very comfortable, drinking tea and watching the sea
Three people traveled, 2 people lived in the living room upstairs with 2 single beds, and the other person lived in the innermost room with a double bed. In the middle was a simple kitchen and a dry and wet separated bathroom. Although it is a bit old, it is still clean. It is very quiet here, next to the spa thermal park, there is a hot spring pool at the end of the park, the autumn scenery is so beautiful
The surrounding environment is good, beautiful and clean lakeside 1. The location is a bit biased, probably because it is a lakeside, driving like turning into the mountains. Be sure to drive in, otherwise some rooms inside are quite far from the front desk. There is one parking space in each room. 2. The hotel room is a wooden house with two rooms. This wooden house is similar to a small villa built on Lake Taupo. Apartment hotel, complete cooking tools, good coffee machine, milk at the front desk. We stayed late and it was very late. By the lake, we are going to rain in winter, it is really cold. The air conditioner is open at 28 degrees. 3. The hotel room is two sets, two separate bathrooms, and the living room is large. 4. The point is that the balcony faces the lake, the air is too clean, the lake, the distant mountains, the green trees, the wooden house, it is estimated to be a dream vacation life. It’s hard to come across. Some locals took the yacht to check in.
It’s ok, but the only single-storey room is arranged. This is the second booking, because I was staying on the upper and lower floors before I felt good and I would continue to choose this one. After reacting with the store, I still wouldn’t change it. Happy
The location of the hotel is very good, just by the beach. The town is quiet and very suitable for a rest. The room is large, but the bedroom upstairs is too small.

GGuest UserA good first stop over for our campervan trip as it is 1hr away from auckland airport. We checked in after opening hours (they close pretty early) but we could easily find our way and the check in instructions were clear and easy.
Plenty of flies attracted to light at the campsite. Our camper was filled with flies and spent a long time chasing them away. So do be careful when turning on the lights when moving in and out of the camper.
戚戚There is a motel half an hour away from Hobbit. The bungalows built on the side of the mountain were not well ventilated, the outside of the room was very cool, and the room was stuffy and hot, and only one fan was provided for the two rooms. The room sheets are fairly clean. The only pool water that can be advertised does not know how long it has not been changed. Very strong smell of disinfectant water!
