It can be seen that this is a historic hotel, can see the glory of the year, and now the facilities are relatively old. If the high-rise building is better, the living quarters, the environment and facilities will be much worse. The breakfast was very rich and it was delicious. Dinner buffet, no drinks, price 40 dollars, not much stuff, no breakfast rich. In the hotel lobby, there is a place to drink traditional Ethiopian coffee, there are many shops on the first floor, the hotel has complete fitness facilities, gym, tennis, basketball, and many other venues. A lot of people outside come to work out.

Hello Hayat Regency Management, Overall, my experience was excellent, although I was unable to extend my stay and had to switch to a different hotel. Firstly, I'd like to commend the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel in general. The service provided, both at the restaurant and reception, was exceptional. Additionally, your internet service is among the best in town, which, as a Google Engineer, I can attest to. However, I must address an issue regarding the parking entry, which was quite challenging. Despite the availability of ample parking spaces, the entry point was poorly designed, making it difficult to maneuver in and out. I even sought assistance but unfortunately couldn't find any. I hope this issue can be addressed. Furthermore, there seems to be a communication gap regarding the parking, as those directing customers to the lot should clarify whether it's manageable for new arrivals. It was disappointing to be guided to the parking lot by someone representing Hayat Regency, only to find it inaccessible. Thank you for considering this feedback, and I hope it contributes to enhancing the overall experience for future guests.

Upon arriving the reception staff greeted me with smiles like a long lost family member. The appartment was amaizing, well designed with more than enough plug points and all the appliances you can think off, most I didn't even use. But the best part of the stay is not the amaizing food and drinks it was the friendliness of the staff, they made my 2 week stay feel like home and I am sad to leave. I will devinitely recommend this hotel, it is simply the best I've stayed in in Africa, and I've been to a lot! Wish there was 6 stars!

We have found excellent treatment by the entire team at the hotel. Only there are some people in the restaurant who do not respond to our requests except for the person who is called Teddy. He is a very wonderful person, and he was the one who helped us with everything. He is really a special person. Also, we will not forget what the two people gave us, Nati, the hotel manager, and Teddy, the room manager. I booked this spot because it was very affordable. Only upon arriving did I realize how huge and classy the place is. Was not expecting a big, sprawling executive style hotel. The place does have an air of faded glory from bygone times, but a very welcome stay. Rugs are worn, furniture in foyer a little beat up, but classy and comfortable throughout. Staff are fantastic, the grounds are enormous and lush, there are many places to sit and relax, and Ghion features a stunning restaurant. A massive, two-tier, round wooden building with a high, circular, peaked roof, in an elegant, sturdy Ethiopian traditional construction. Absolutely beautiful, with wonderful, authentic Ethiopian cuisine at an affordable cost. Wonderful. My only complaint is that, as an old guy with fading eyesight, rooms are dark! Even with all lights on, still tough to read anything, and it took some minutes to get water from the tub or sink to begin running warm. Still, and absolutely gorgeous site, well worth the very modest price. Will happily stay there again any time I return to Addis.

I'd like to give this establishment the highest recommendation and thank reception staff for their friendly and warm-hearted assistance when dealing with my many requests. Reception staff went above and beyond to ensure all my requests were superbly dealt with in a professional manner. The hotel is located in a secure area of Addis and security staff watch your back in the vicinity. Additionally, the hotel features an excellent gym and provides 24 hour room service. The highest compliment I can pay is to say I'd definitely like to return.
