The hotel is estimated to be a five-star hotel many years ago, and the equipment is relatively old. For example, I have never seen an old-fashioned air conditioner. But the overall sanitation environment is good, the size of the room is suitable, the facilities are complete, and the location is also very good. The restaurant downstairs is very convenient. There is a Xinjiang restaurant two or three hundred meters to the right when you go out. Overall, the price is really good, it is not even a family hotel in Istanbul. I will choose here again on my next business trip.

We have never been in Ankara before -- and heard no stories about the capital of Türkiye from our friends. We came for an international symposium held at the Ankara University. Firstly, the University campus is a big park (almost forest!) in the very centre of the city -- and it is amazing! The entire city is full of parks, green squares, public gardens... Public transportation (buses, underground) is perfect and cheap. Some places worth visiting are: 1. Anitkabir -- a memorial complex and symbolic mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. On the hill, in the very centre of the city, easily accessible and very impressive. It is the main National Memorial Centre, where all the important ceremonies take place. Apart of this, there is a perfect viewpoint with impressive panorama of the entire city. Worth a visit! 2. Ankara Castle -- a nicely preserved fortress building with a magnificent panoramic view above the city. Worth a visit, however, needs an effort to climb to the fortress, but it worth any effort. 3. The Museum of Anatolian Civilizations -- a real must to visit! It is an archeological museum with an outstanding collection of artifacts, from the Stone era, through the Bronze, and so on -- till the medieval period. All the artifacts are maintained in a very good condition, accessible and perfectly displayed and illuminated. One of the best collections we have ever seen! Do not miss this unique museum. Warmest recommendation to come and spend 2 - 3 hours, at least. You can easily find a lot of information on the web about these -- and more -- places of interest in Ankara, so I am not adding any photos. Probably, those you will find are better than mine... Few words more: The hotel we stayed Altinel Ankara Hotel -- is warmly recommended! The airport of Ankara is well designed, spacious and cosy.

This by far was the best hotel stay for our Turkey trip. The hotel is clean, rooms are spacious and the view was outstanding. This hotel is near most of Ankara's attractions, train and tax locations. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was amazing and beyond average. We forgot one of our valuable documents in the room and we called from Istanbul to locate it. The receptionist with the name Melike helped us find it and scanned it for us and emailed it. Malike thank you for your help, that document was important and you did outstanding job scanning and emailing it.

Breakfast is ordering, we don't know much about Turkish food, so we told the younger brother to come to the local breakfast, so the little brother took a table of sauces and dishes with great enthusiasm. We stayed at the Hotel for 3 nights, the staff was friendly since the beginning. The room was spacious, clean and with good ventilation. It's has a good air-conditioner too and good shower and cozy bed The hotel was super quiet, and a good place to rest. It was near to old town center and also it was easy to get to metro, parks and you can get by walk to new downtown. I would recommend to stay here to avoid the craziness of the new downtown because there's to many people. Another good point it's that the hotel was near to many food places just around the corner. The staff also help us with no charge extra to keep our backpacks during our last day in town before we go to the Otogari. Thank you so much for your welcoming and good disposition.

We stayed only one night and I think this Hotel is a good choice if you are looking for something simple but also clean and convenient. The structure is being renewed at the moment and the room we stayed in was recently finished. Even though everything was clean and nice the bathroom was very small (as well as the toilet,the shower and the trash bin in it), that's the only negative point I give. I appreciated the complementary water, the kettle with tea and the slippers. Also the breakfast was nice. 10 mins walk to the metro station.

It rained and snowed for 2 days in Ankara, and I didn't go out much. Hotel facilities: Look at the pictures for yourself, it was taken on the same day. Bedding and linen look at the picture. Disposable slippers are provided. Room facilities: hair dryer. Hotel decoration: look at the picture for yourself. Toilet: It is dry and wet separation. The water pressure is very high, that is, the drainage is not very good, and the water pressure can't keep up. Breakfast: Seeing the picture for yourself is self-service and can eat. Hotel service staff: I personally feel very service conscious and very willing during my stay. The picture of the hotel matches the picture of the actual room.

Thanks to the Staff of the Hotel. My mom and I were there only a few hours. We made a stairway in Ankara to meet the city, because that same day afternoon-night we traveled to Capadocia. On July 2022, my wife and daughter stayed in the hotel for a night. We preferred that the price was reasonable and few tripadvisor comments were good. She paid our fee for breakfast at the entrance. The first thing that attracted us when we entered the room was that most of the material used was old. For example, the towels on the bathroom were originally white, but they had a grey stain. They said when I called the reception to find out how early the breakfast was before we go to bed, they said it would start at 9.00 and I said that it was too late for us to make service to your room at 8:30. The hotel has no breakfast room or is in vacation. When I called again, the staff member of the reception told me he could ask if he could return his breakfast fee and returned your breakfast fee when he left the hotel in the morning. Another thing I thought was the watering of the hand washing and shower jelly used in the bathroom, and the flow of water was the same as the other expression.
