Homewood Suites by Hilton Boston Cambridge-Arlington, MA

Pros: New Yorker first time driving to Boston, so i need a hotel that provide parking. This hotel provide free and pretty safe parking in their basement which is excellent for interstate driving travelers. Beside free parking, this hotel also great for sightseeing Boston via public transportation. There is a bus stop right across the street. Bus 77 will go straight to the Red Line Harvard Station. You can transfer to Red Line and go straight to the city. Or you can transfer to Bus 1, which will take you to nearby Boston University and Newbury St. From Newbury St stop, you can transfer to the Green Line at Hynes Convention Center Station. There are a lot of attractions right on the Green Line for you to explore. When you are done with your travel, u can take Red Line or Bus 1 back to Harvard Station, then transfer 77 and it will take you back right next to the hotel. This hotel also provide free breakfast in my booking. The breakfast is nice but will be better if it can last to 10am during the weekdays. (6-9weekdays, 7-10 weekends) The room is not bad, pretty big with table, kitchen, refrigerator, sofa, two tvs and a bed. The room I have is pretty clean and I do not have much to complain. The hotel staffs are nice too. Cons: The mattress is not too hard or soft and is comfortable for me. However, it is little too noisy when you try to move or turn. The bathtub is slippery when you step in it, especially where there’s water in it. I have to grab the pole tight every time. The hotel need to address this issue for safety.

Very spacious suite (switched from queen bed to king), FREE parking (rare in Boston and near suburbs), quite ample breakfast, direct 10 minutes to Harvard Square, terrific value for money..

There are few hotels in Boston with free parking, and the parking space is not tight. The breakfast was plentiful and crowded, but well organized. The room is a suite, the pots and pans are complete, and it feels like home.

The hotel seems to have only three floors, we live on the first floor. The room is dim and the light source is not bright enough. We booked a suite for three people. But there was no bed and bedding for the third person at all, and even the bath towels were for two people. There is a bedding for the third person in the cabinet of the room, where the quilt is a very thin blanket. After communicating with the hotel, I also put two pillows on the next day. Breakfast served my needs, typical American breakfast. Sausage and bacon on weekend mornings. No meat provided on weekday mornings. Hotel front desk service is good. Free parking is rare in Boston. CVS is just opposite the hotel and a two-minute walk.

The location is very good, you can see Manhattan opposite, the traffic is very convenient, you can take the bus to the subway to New York at the door. The room is large, the service is warm, the breakfast is great.
