7Pines Resort Sardinia

This is a resort that has all the hallmarks of an S-Class Mercedes. Smooth, comfortable, safe and reliable. Staff are well-trained and the breakfasts are incredible. The pool and facilities are top drawer. So why do I feel that the engine is not quite right? It might well come down to the resort’s obsession with pounding its guests’ collective ears with the resort’s own choice of music. All day and most of the evening. Want to listen to your own music? Better have the very best noise-cancelling earbuds. Or perhaps it’s the rather soulless roof-top bar - amazing views but Spartan deck….and the music. Or the assumption that because you are paying premium for the accommodation you can pay premium for a distinctly overrated pizza. Little things, I know, which should not impair all that is good about 7 Pines. But it wrangles, just a tad.

They say “Shoot for the stars”.. and this is what 7 Pines has done.. and achieved it. 7 Pines is set on a wonderful part of Baja Sardinia, the hotel amenities and facilities are excellent. What struck me the most is the tranquility of the hotel. The hotel reception is set with one of the most spectacular views, a very clever concept, and a must see. The hotel manager - Vito and Team make you feel very welcome, every member of staff my wife and I interacted with, were extremely professional. I was fortunate to be staying at the hotel at the opening of the Cone club, with its private beach and water sports option. The event was expertly organised, with great attention to detail from the staff. In terms of facilities - the gym is very inviting, and positioned close to the main swimming pool. The gym is well stocked with a free weights section along with cardio machines. In addition the tennis and paddle courts are of a high standard. The swimming pools are perfectly positioned with great landscaping as a backdrop. Water sports, all options are catered for. There are two private beaches, each offering guests a wonderful experience. Breakfast, the restaurant provides guests with a perfect view of the bay to admire whilst you enjoy the plentiful of food on offer. I would strongly recommend this hotel, I wish I could name all the wonderful staff I had the pleasure of meeting but there is simply too many to name. So not to sound too biased. :-).. if I had to have one minor negative, the room size is a little on the small side. Which is mentioned in some other reviews I had read. HOWEVER, the design of the room is well thought out. So it was not an issue for me. Vito and team, thanks again for truly brilliant stay. I hope to see you all soon.

We have seen the best places around the world and found now the way to heaven. The architect designed a resort like heaven. Every little detail shows his passion for design. The garden, the pool and the beach invite you to relax. If you just want to eat a pizza, go to Spazio by Franco Pepe. The world best pizza. And if you want to enjoy a real Michelin Star Menu visit the Capogiro. With the Executive Chef: Pasquale D'Ambrosio. He is a star. In addition to this great place and the masters of the kitchen their hundreds of angels who take you simple to heaven. Thank you all to show us how heaven could look like.

While still enjoying all of the goodness of this resort, it is hard to express how much effort the staff and their teams are putting in taking care of their guests. As a result, staying at this resort is a real pleasure. Every request is heard and issues are taken seriously and are solved right away. Mr Vito Spalluto (general manager) and Mr Luca Piola (resort manager) are managing their teams by “walking around”, clearly visible, and therefore achieving the upmost in quality, hygiene and customer service with their nice and friendly teams. We have visited many 5-star resorts in Europe and abroad, and really, this is one of the best. Sardinia is gorgeous, 7Pines is wonderful, but what makes our holiday superb are the people who are taking care of us in this resort. Thank you so much to all of you! The resort itself was beautiful, very modern and new. Staff were helpful where possible. However, I do not think it was worth the price. All restaurants are extremely expensive e.g. 8 euros for a small bottle of coke. Activities on the resort are very limited, and those that are available (padel/tennis/basketball courts) cost 50 euros to hire plus an additonal cost for rackets. There are cooking classes available at 250 euros per person. I have stayed at other resorts that offer all of the above as a complimentary activity for guests. For a lot of the rooms the only windows and entrances into the rooms are huge patio doors - not the most practical. Breakfast options are very limited - continental offering, or food to order which is only an omelette. The pool was not heated and was absolutely freezing - it was uncomfortable to stay in it for more than 5 minutes.

Lovely staff and facilities clean. Not much to do once there. One restaurant open all day with limited menu and extremely overpriced. Second restaurant does the job but only open for breakfast and evening meals. Non heated pool so if weather is cool swimming not so enjoyable Resort has a tennis court which costs EUR50 per hour to hire - this should be available for free! Spa treatments available but again very overpriced. OK experience but just need more on the resort to pass time. Local towns are good to visit but you need a car and they are typically a 30 minute drive away.

We had the best time at 7 pines . The hotel was immaculate. Rooms so spacious , staff so helpful and every detail thought out . We have stayed at a lot of hotels but can say the customer service at this hotel was next level . Couldn’t say anything negative about this place we will be back for sure .

The hotel was very pretty and very relaxing. Be careful if booking out of season (before June 1st) as some of the hotel facilities are closed, making it hard to enjoy all that the hotel has to offer.

A fantastic time in Sardinia and a great stay at The 7 Pines.The staff were all very pleasant,personable and they organised evyfor us boat trips and car rentals.A great week we will be visiting again
