Best Hotels in Bad Ischl, Austria

I wish we could have stayed longer! I will absolutely be back. This darling mountain getaway is like nowhere I've ever been. From the moment I walked in I felt full of peaceful energy. Incredible detail has been put into the service and ambiance of luxury. The tranquil hideaway vibe is definitely on-point! We were on a cycling trip and arrived on bicycles. This hotel was the perfect treat to have a quick unwind during our adventure. We stayed in the mountain view rooms... WOW. I'll include pics of our panoramic mountain views! When I come back I'll stay longer to read books amongst the calm, find inspiration for writing, meditate, breathe in the luxury, hike the trails. So many attributes make this a luxury boutique hideaway. I need some self care and want to feel that peaceful energy again. The food was outstanding. They are vegan-friendly... We are not vegan and the staff prepared the most delicious beef goulash. Breakfast was above and beyond what we imagined... They cooked eggs for us made-to-order, brought us plates of fresh vegetables, sliced fruit, croissants, breads, gourmet butter, cappuccinos... I could go on and on. A very nice hotel with nice staff. At the reception the check-in etc takes somewhat nice long. At the ski lift you are fast, just a bus stop away. Unfortunately, more mass handling at the buffet. Dinner was ”naja”. Suppet and salad delicious, dei main meals rather cantines - that has, unfortunately, buffet so in itself. Breakfast is beautifully rich and varied. For the size of the hotel the wellness area is rather small. 2 saunas, that's OK, but unfortunately quite little beds and not separated from the showers. So so well you can relax rather on the room. We had a faulty fire alarm at night and stood in the sleeping suit at half two in the frozen night Temperatures outside. Unfortunately, there was no meeting of the hotel at request. At least the € 20 drinks they could have left us out of course. Of course, probably the hotel can't do anything for it, but we also haven't and that has already made us We don't come again. ------ In itself a nice, modern hotel with friendly staff. The hotel facilities and environment are very good. I came with my parents in their 80s. I was surprised that there was an elevator here. The cockroaches are all located on the half floor. It’s strange to come out and climb half stairs again. Before leaving, I asked me to pay another 39 euros for each room cleaning, and I asked why, saying that this is an apartment and needs cleaning the kitchen. I said I stayed overnight and didn't use the kitchen at all. I guess because I came from Vienna and I am fluent in German, so I am exempt. After reading the previous comments, many people have encountered this problem, so people who want to book still have to consider it. This hotel is suitable for staying for a few more days, just by the lake, the environment is super beautiful, the room is large, and it is next to the Shaf Mountain climbing train, there are also Chinese restaurant pizza shops nearby, so staying for a few more days, this cleaning fee is still worth it.

It’s still cold in mid-April, so the foggy fairy in the early morning is really very quiet. People who like quiet will definitely feel more suitable than Hallstatt. The room with a balcony (3rd floor) is indeed much better than the view without a balcony, even if it is a lake view room (2nd floor) The color of the room furniture is good. It is very warm to cook a hot noodles with a kitchenette. The breakfast quality is also very good.

Clean and new. We had a one-bedroom apartment. Very spacious. Kitchen was well-equipped. Heated bathroom. Underground garage. A very comfortable stay. Point to note is that this accommodation has no human being for check in, check out and if you need any help, there is no one. Check in is done through a phone app. You will need (roaming) data, otherwise you cannot open the door. And if you need to call their hotline for help, you will be using international calling (depending on where you come from). As long as you are comfortable with this kind of arrangement, this accommodation is 10/10. I will stay again. As with all apartments, there is no service and you will be expected to sort your rubbish and dispose them at the bin center. Bad Goisern itself has nothing. We used this accommodation as a base for the surrounding area. The apartment is within walking distance to an Italian restaurant and a supermarket.

The most unexpected lakeside hotel in this trip to Europe~Very very recommended~First of all, the location is on the lakeside~There are four kinds of boats for free to play~The lake is clear~The ducks are floating in the water~I didn't encounter any Asian faces during this period~The room looks bigger than the description ~ Much better than the picture~ The balcony can see the lake~ A glass of red wine on the balcony in the evening is full of stars~ Cozy~ Many locals have dinner here~ There are boats to eat~ The whole fish ordered is salvaged in the lake that day~ Delicious~ The best thing is the little brother at the front desk ~ handsome and very friendly ~ take the initiative to take us to the room to introduce ~ recommended friends for self-driving trips

Pleasant stay in Heritage Hotel. Perfect location. The room is big and spacious. The bed is big and comfortable. Breakfast is really good as well. The staff at the reception is really nice and welcoming. Room assigned is on 4th floor, which we could hear footsteps from the room above us at 6 am in the morning. Request for a room on the top floor, 6th floor, if you're a light sleeper like us. The restaurant is really good. We went there for dinner twice during our 3 nights stay in Heritage Hotel. The soup was really good. We ordered the char grilled salmon with pumpkin risotto, really delicious 😋
