Pingtan County Hotels with Balcony

The hotel is located fairly centrally in the island of Pingtan in a small village. Its exterior is nicely decorated with lights, and if you arrive late at night like we did, you’ll thank for that, as it shines like a beacon in a otherwise not very well lit street. The service shone from the beginning. One of the staff was ready to help us with our luggage and show us in, and there was no delay with the registration of my passport (something that as any foreigner that has travelled in the Chinese Mainland will be able to tell, is not something to take for granted), and was immediately added to WeChat, where through the entire trip I was kept updated on everything relevant to us as guests, from the time breakfast was ready, to the fact that a guest with a dog was going to stay in a room next to ours (to which they offered to change if we needed in case any of us was scared or allergic to dogs). Breakfast was always kept warm for us, even when we were coming down late and were not expecting it to be there, and in general the staff’s attitude was always what you would expect in a bigger, more established (and more expensive) hotel, but with a home-stay twist. The hotel is not very close to any scenic spot or touristic destination, but they offer a service of e-bike rental that we used through the trip, and that we’d recommend to anybody is staying here as it took transportation off the list of things we had to think about, and allowed us to fully take advantage of the central location of the inn. With 2 people per bike, going very far North, or South to the city (sometimes both in one trip), we never ran too close to empty our batteries. The room was clean, big enough, and as we were staying on the last floor and our door opened to a patio, very well ventilated. The patio also proved to be a nice place to sit and chill or eat, and I was able to make work I had to finish feel less of a sore in the middle of my holidays. The only things I’d add or change to the room experience are a place to hang clothes (there wasn’t any closet or the sort), the toilet paper (they offered tissues but they don’t feel the same when you want to, you know, keep your hands clean), and real towels (they offer disposable towels, but they’re just not the same). In conclusion, not only I would come back but I most certainly will, as I had an amazing trip and this inn played no small part in it. Would 100% recommend if you like less noisy, more home stay-ey atmosphere, and don’t mind to be a few minutes drive from the city.

The environment of the B&B is truly amazing, with a Mediterranean style. You can enjoy the sea view while lying on the bed. There is also a balcony. Sitting on the balcony, drinking a small drink and blowing in the sea breeze from the island🏝️, I feel so good. You can relax and enjoy traveling. By the way, the lemon tree in the room looks fake, but it is a real tree! Please don't pinch it. [Love] The service attitude of the store is very good. The handsome brother and the beautiful lady are very enthusiastic. The recommended seafood fried chicken is delicious! I’m going to give you a Yujiale restaurant next door to Amway 🍴. You heard me right. It’s recommended by experienced foodies. Haha, the oysters and abalone are very fat and fresh. You must try their shrimps. They have a fresh and sweet taste. We ate them during our two-day stay. Three meals! Cheap and delicious😋, the people in Pingtan are very nice, honest and enthusiastic❤️Recommend everyone to come!

Located on the hilltop next to the windmill restaurant, dining is super convenient. Down the hill, there's the popular Fairy Tale Town for some great photo ops. The butler created a group chat in advance and even reported the 'Blue Tears' (bioluminescent plankton) locations daily; their service was incredibly enthusiastic. We also received complimentary drinks and desserts in the afternoon. It would be even better if the breakfast selection had more variety. The large pool is fantastic for photos! When the hot water stopped working on the first day, it was promptly fixed. Overall, the service is very detailed and thoughtful, and the room cleanliness is up to par. There are quite a few rooms, and the design is very creative. Highly recommended!

I like winter for no reason. I like watching the sunrise and sunset in a house by the water in winter🌅 I like to enjoy the journey aimlessly in the sunny winter without making any plans. The butler called the night before our arrival to ask about our arrival time and added us on WeChat in advance to tell us the location and recommended restaurants—so thoughtful! The receptionist was so kind! They even upgraded us to an executive suite for free! The neighborhood was very nice and quiet, the rooms were large and clean, and the hotel's location was very convenient for getting around. It was truly a fantastic trip to Pingtan!

The location is fantastic, situated halfway up a mountain with expansive views, including the Changjiang'ao windmill cluster. Unfortunately, due to overcast skies and rain, we missed the beautiful sunset, but the hazy, misty atmosphere was still lovely. It's also very close to Jingsha Beach and the stylish See Cafe, where I encountered a romantic piano performance, which greatly satisfied my girlish heart. The service was excellent; they contacted me in advance before check-in, providing travel guides and check-in tips in one go. They proactively carried my luggage to the room. I must mention that the air conditioning and electric blankets were turned on early, making the room warm and cozy – a welcome relief after a windy morning. Crucially, they also provided affordable lunches and dinners; the food was simple yet homely, which my parents appreciated. A big thank you to the customer service staff and the restaurant staff for their hard work! I am an old customer and I come here every March and April. The gentle sea breeze and the sound of the waves are very relaxing. The B&B is located by the sea, very close to the beach, and it takes only two minutes to walk to the beach. The room is very clean, which is impeccable even for a severe mysophobia patient like me. The boss is very easy-going and has a good service attitude. I will come again next year!

The off-season in Pingtan was fantastic! The owner was very helpful, contacting us in advance and keeping track of our arrival. Located in a secluded spot in the county town, they promptly greeted and guided us to our accommodation. The service was excellent. The inn was artistic and quiet, with very comfortable rooms, separate wet and dry areas, and good soundproofing. There were drinks at the reception on the first floor, and a terrace on the second floor where you could dry clothes and enjoy tea – so pleasant! My room near the stairs had poor WiFi, but they promptly offered to change rooms. The efficiency and service were excellent. Highly recommended!

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, making it incredibly easy to get to all the attractions. Our room had a direct ocean view, and we could step right onto the beach from downstairs. We were immediately wowed by the stunning sea view from our window upon check-in. The cafe, also facing the ocean, has an elegant and comfortable ambiance, perfect for unwinding. Due to a train schedule issue, we requested a late check-out, and the hotel was very accommodating, which made us feel especially warm and welcome.

It was a very satisfying experience. Although there was nothing to do as a result of Typhoon Shantol, the only activity was to climb to the top of the mountain observation deck with my parents, but we were almost blown away by the typhoon. But the B&B is really impeccable, the food is delicious, the rooms are great, and the service is beyond praise. If I have the chance to come to Pingtan again, I will undoubtedly choose his place first.
