"I stayed at this hostel for a solo trip. As it's a dormitory, I understand there are only two bathrooms (toilet and shower combined), so you have to coordinate to avoid overlapping with others. There were about 4-5 mosquitoes in the bathroom. You don't need to bring your own locker key as it's provided along with the room key. The kitchen had essential cutlery, a kettle, and a microwave. Aside from the bathroom, I felt it offered good value for the price. I assume you've read this during booking, but remember to bring your own towel! And the entrance has a double door, so the security is reassuring."

Os quartos não eram iguais os 3 que reservei, um era espaçoso e tinha máquina de café os outros dois muito pequenos nem uma garrafa de água tinha, tinha de se pedir na rececao com caução de 10 euros, vou deixar foto.
O barulho é outro aspeto negativo ,tanto dos aviões como dos canos de água e corredores."

ZzaddyThis is the best place to stay in Lisbon. It’s 3 streets away from the nearest metro station (a 1 min walk) which has two lines (blue and yellow), a 5 minute walk to the square, and right next to the Main Street for eating Al fresco and shopping. If you’re planning on doing a day trip to Sintra, the Rossio train/metro station is also a 5 minute walk. The Santa Justa Lift is two streets away. The hotel is quaint and the rooms are spacious for Lisbon’s standards. The design is modern and sleek. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast has a decent spread. 10/10 would stay here again!

GGuest UserIt’s my mom’s best birthday trip ever. We felt warm and have an amazing stay in the hotel. The room was clean and beautiful. The breakfast was very delicious. They made different kinds of cakes, tarts and pies every morning. Even there’s any issues or problems w your room, they always tried their best to make sure you have everything perfect.

GGuest UserVery good and clean hotel, but they don’t provide a kettle inside the room, so gotta go to the lobby if you want hot water. I love the vibes - it’s good for solo travellers. Room is spacious enough. Location is very good, but careful not to travel out too late at night, this area is close to a migrant area where the crowds can get a little scary for lone lady travellers.

Ppygroundspacious, aesthetic, and perfect for a solo trip, but a few things to note.
The room itself is gorgeous. It has this modern boho/woody vibe with warm tones, sage walls, hints of gold, and lots of natural light from the balcony. Waking up here was honestly such a nice experience. The balcony is a big plus too, although the furniture is quite basic and could be upgraded.
Layout-wise, everything made sense (especially the TV directly facing the bed — finally!). However, the TV connection was quite slow and frustrating, so I ended up just using my phone.
Location is good if you don’t mind walking — around 20–30 minutes into central Lisbon. There are loads of cafés nearby though, which was super convenient. I highly recommend Fauna & Flora (Anjos) for brunch — really cute spot and great food. They take walk-ins :)
Only thing I didn’t love was the PIN entry system. You have to type it multiple times (enter building, going up the lift, enter room) and it’s very visible, which made me a bit uneasy as a solo traveller. It's super easy though !!
The mini fridge was also super minimally stocked, so don’t rely on it. On the plus side, tea/coffee facilities, toiletries, and plenty of towels are provided.
The apartment itself is very quiet and peaceful — I barely heard anyone else, which made it feel like my own private space. Barely saw anyone, felt like I had the place to myself.
Overall: a comfortable and stylish stay with great nearby cafés. A few small improvements would make it perfect, but I would definitely stay again.

GGuest UserSuper fun! The staff are very friendly. The whole hotel and rooms are whimsical and fun. Excellent location right on pink street. The windows are triple thick and the noise is minimal at best. There were complimentary ear buds but we didn't even need them. We really enjoyed out stay and hope to come back again soon!

EEmilyI just returned from a wonderful vacation at Solar Dos Poetas, and I can’t say enough good things about my stay! The location is absolutely amazing, nestled in a picturesque area that made exploring the sights a breeze. Everything I wanted to see in the city was either within walking distance or just a short trip away.
One of the highlights of my stay was the incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and friendliness. The team went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their local recommendations were spot on and really enhanced my experience.
Breakfast was another fantastic part of my visit! Each morning, I enjoyed a delicious spread that included fresh pastries, fruits, and a variety of options that catered to different tastes. It was the perfect start to my day and gave me the energy I needed for my adventures.
Overall, Solar Dos Poetas exceeded all my expectations. With its exceptional location, outstanding customer service, and delightful breakfast, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I can’t wait to come back and experience it all over again! Highly recommended!

GGuest UserOverall, location is good, quiet and easy to get into central area via tram/bus/uber. Kitchen facilities inside the studio are useful and cleaning service is provided to change towels.
Areas of improvements needed:
- No arrival instructions were provided, even when asked prior to arriving. This left us hanging outside the building as we had no access code to enter.
- Dirty dishes were left inside the dishwasher when we arrived

SSefy LevyThis hostel is located about 3km walk from the center city, but does have some close by attractions (such as the Jeronimo's Monetary)
The room is extremely small, if you seat on the edge of the bed and try to stretch your legs, you'll most likely hit the wall.
We had our room replaced, as the first room had zero privacy for the toilet and the second room gave the illusion of privacy (as you can see in photos)
We've not seen any of the management, as everything is done thru WhatsApp to contact them and they will respond.
Breakfast was OK, it had a bit of choices but there was more cakes and cookies then actual food.
