I came to Omah Apik 7 years ago with a group of friends. When my husband and I decided to go Bali, I thought of staying there again. It is a great place to stay, quiet and relaxing in the midst of padi field. We came by a hired car and we managed to get around using grab and go car. Trip to ubud is about 40k one way so it’s not bad. The room was clean and comfortable but a bit dark. The shower was outdoor. The breakfast was simple and good, it was just and option of organic toasts with butter and pineapple jam, options of pancakes, eggs or muesli and options of fresh fruits or smoothies. They do put a lot of efforts in recycling and being environmentally friendly. We did Balinese massage which costs 150k for 60 minutes. The massage was good and relaxing but the spa room was dusty and in need of some cleaning. We did have lunch in the hotel and it tasted good. The pool overlooking the padi field was amazing and we had an afternoon dip. They do need some replacement of the poolside cushions and tables as they were pretty worn out. Overall, it was a great stay! Don’t forget to also check out their pet chicken that greeted when we first arrive and sent us off!
Ubud Valley Boutique Resort

My family and I stayed for three nights at this beautiful resort. It is slightly out of Ubud (probably further than I realised) but they had a shuttle or their staff could do drop offs / you could order a Grab. So this wasn’t too much of an issue. Aside from this, the resort is absolutely stunning. Each individual room is slightly different to the next (we had three) and each had their own charm. The pool area is beautiful and the pool is much larger than the photos. The breakfast was beautiful, and even better was the afternoon tea, which is a fantastic idea and a great treat to get you through to dinner time. Lastly a huge thank you to the wonderful, kind and friendly staff. Nothing was an issue and everyone had huge smiles on their faces. Management should be proud of what a wonderful team they have. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

Advance reservation, and received confirmation, two days before departure, the hotel suddenly said that there is no room, upgrade to the same level hotel, the hotel looks good outside, but there are more insects around the rice fields. . . .

Our stay at the pool villa at Tanah Gajah resort was nothing short of paradise. The private villa offered a perfect blend of opulence and tranquility, with its spacious rooms and breathtaking views of the rice fields. The highlight was undoubtedly the pristine private pool, where I spent blissful hours enjoying the serene surroundings. The resort's meticulous attention to detail, from the personalized service to the dining options, elevated the experience to unparalleled heights. The staff was amazing, they was helpful and friendly the moment we checked in. We needed up doing a lot of shopping and needed to ship things back home and they arranged a shipping company to come out and help us with that’s If you're seeking a luxurious escape with unparalleled comfort and great hospitality atanah Gajah is the place to visit. The pool villa is the epitome of indulgence. The hot air balloon ride was amazing, you get an Ariel view of the rice fields and surroundings… We definitely will be back to this serene place!
