I wasn't staying over at the Hotel, as I am local but I had planned a dinner for 11 members of my family to celebrate a big Birthday. We ate in the newly renovated beautiful Rathlin Suite, with comfy sofas, chairs and a large family-style table. The food was delicious. The Daube of Irish Beef dish was outstanding - compliments to the Chef. It was a Saturday night and the restaurant was very busy but three serving staff in particular went out of their way to make sure we were treated like royalty. A big shout out to Daniel, Cavhan and Mia. Thank you for making my special evening, even more special. Donna

Popped in for a quick bite to eat. as I thought it looked a nice place to stop in at. Was welcome by friendly staff, and a warm atmosphere. I tried the seafood chowder (which is a difficult to get right) with the Guinness wheaten bread, both were wonderful. Would recommend this cosy, recently renovated hotel, on the coast to anyone. I would also like to thank the staff on shift - especially one, I think his name was Daniel who was very attentive. 😊

I really wanted to love this hotel as I love the town it's in but sadly I had two sleepless nights. I didn't get a confirmation email of our booking so had to phone to confirm - the booking had been held in the wrong name. The bar/restaurant is expensive for what is essentially a bar meal experience. No family deluxe or executive rooms exist and no family rooms with a sea view. Not a game changer but disappointing. On the first night we didn't sleep as our room was above the function room where a disco went on until 1am. The noise was extreme. The room was absolutely freezing but more so on the second night when my daughter had to put on extra layers and we had to utilise a duvet from a spare bed. The duvets are very thin and no sleep was had that night either. Others have spoken about the turn down and warm flask service - maybe this is with executive rooms as we didn't receive this. I had requested a late check out due to the noise from the function on the first night. I was told we could have an hour, however at 11:20am we were phoned and reminded that check out is 11am. Hot breakfast food was great but cold options were very limited. The rooms would benefit from things like hooks on the inside of the bathrooms doors and better wardrobe space - not long enough for dresses etc. Really disappointing experience and left utterly exhausted.

Wonderful stay as ever. Friendly attentive staff, fabulous room with a newly introduced turn down service providing bedtime tea flask and snacks. Hotel is looking great after its winter refurbishment and the Curry night was a great experience and an added bonus to the monthly Fish night experience. A large screen in the residents lounge with a live stream of the beach would be an added bonus especially when the sun is shining and the waves are rolling in. This hotel is going from strength to strength so well done Marine.

The special Indian menu was why we went and it was fabulous. Decor has been updated since our last trip and it's now fresh and modern. Staff as friendly as always. We really appreciated the tea supplied by the turndown service. Love this hotel.

What an enjoyable stay at the beautiful Marine Hotel. From the start of my stay until leaving I enjoyed a very relaxing time with my party of lovely ladies..the hotel itself is spotless and all the staff were very welcoming. my room was so spacious with a wonderful sea view…. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were just divine…the restaurant was well staffed and the menu has something for everyone.. and a great wine list.. we all enjoyed the cocktails also! Breakfast was just the best! All in all it was a fab stay. I will be telling everyone they must book a break there.. and as for me I will be returning as soon as I can.

The rooms are small but so clean. The staff in the restaurant are wonderful and a special shout out to Daniel in the restaurant who was so attentive and a great server. The food was exquisite (we had the Indian offer meal) every part was wonderful!

1. The heating didn't work. I called reception twice, 1 hour apart. Each time they said they will send someone to the room to fix the heating. No one came, froze all night. 2. Booked a king size bed room with sea view. Got a room with queen size bed without the sea view. 3. After turning on the light in the bathroom, the fan was very loud for 20 minutes. Kept us awake.

Fantastic Hotel, lovely welcoming feel. Great reception area to sit and have coffee and people watch! The views are amazing! Resturante was very Tasy, breakfast 10/10. Gluten free options also. Beds very comfy, with soft white linen. Dogs aloud in certain rooms so bringing Doggy next time I go!
