I stayed here for a week mid September with my 3 sisters. The hotel is literally across the road from the lake and approx a 15-20 min walk into Bardolino. The shuttle bus from the hotel is available if you want it. We booked two rooms and were lucky enough to be upgraded to suites. The huge bed was able to be separated into two so you could sleep alone if you chose. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over, plus a separate shower cubicle and bidet. The showers were really good and towels readily available. If you empty the minifridge, you can fit 2litre bottles in if needed. On to the restaurant - we stayed half board and the food was excellent-a huge buffet for breakfast, including a short order chef making fresh omelettes. There was soy milk and gluten free options also. You could also have a cheeky bucks fizz with your breakfast! The evening meal was a la carte with four courses: a wide range of salad buffet, starter, main and then a dessert buffet. Must have put in 1/2 a stone! The facilities are brilliant, spa jets in the outdoor pool (one of 4!) plus a great indoor pool. I would have liked to see towels provided in the indoor spa as there are none, but I used my room towel. The best part of this hotel is the great staff, always helpful and smiling. The waiting staff in the restaurant were really efficient and pleasant at all times. A special mention to Olympio at the pool bar who looked after us. Overall, this is a great hotel and I would highly recommend staying half board, as the food is exceptional. Thanks for a great stay.
