The Best Western Premium Hotel in Batumi is located in the commercial area, close to the beach, on the main Gorgiladze street, which continues all the way to the old part of the city. It is a high-rise building, and there was a nice view from our 12th-floor sea-facing room. It is promoted as a 5-star hotel, and the rooms are of fair size, but it still lacks too many amenities that elevate a hotel to a real 5-star status. Just to cite a few examples: The safe in the room was old and dysfunctional and couldn't be used throughout our stay. We had to call the technician to open it prior to departure. The ”operating instructions” were irrelevant as they related to another model. The same for the TV, which had only one Western-speaking channel, and even this one did function after the second day. No glasses in the bathroom, etc. What irked us most were the unmade rooms, even in late afternoons when we came back from our daily excursions. Rooms should be taken care of considerably earlier. The breakfast buffet style was mediocre, in spite of the abundance. The only thing that compensated partially for all the above was the friendly and willing attitude of the reception staff. In summary, a considerable way to go.

There is no view on the sea! In description of deception! The window comes out on the nearby skyscrapers, the sea can only be seen from the balcony if you turn your head. The room was once beautiful but now very-very killed. The curtains are broken, the dirty curtains hang somehow. On the basis of the bed dried red spots, whether wine or what is worse. In the bathroom, almost everything is broken: a mirror for makeup, a washing button in the toilet, a towel hanger, a urinary pad in the shower, a leak of a shower... And all this broken lies right in the closet. Washing machine from the description in the room is not available, only shampoo and a piece of soap. Towel is only one, big. No shoes. Kitchen is available, but dishes are not enough even for two. Very noisy! Under the windows the construction is from all sides. The windows pass noise, cold and light from the neighboring buildings, the curtains do not protect. The doors are thin, underneath them a centimeter 3 gaps, no sound isolation, the murmurs of the neighbors hear the whole floor.

Friends who book a room, this hotel has only 5 floors, and the first floor is like living in a basement. I stayed for 3 nights in a row, I was given the first floor, and it was fine to change to the 5th floor. Breakfast is 66 lari per person. The service staff was very nice, they helped us move the bed in case my son would fall off the bed. The coffee and juice on the first floor are delicious. The spa is different from domestic ones, very comfortable, around 500. Opposite is the coastline. I go to see the sea and take a bath after breakfast every day. It is very close to McDonald's. After the hotel turns right, there is a well-known local restaurant on the first floor of the hotel. The location is very good, but the room is not enough for five stars, but the service can be five stars!

Friends who book a room, this hotel has only 5 floors, and the first floor is like living in a basement. Worst experience thus far in Georgia. Staff unwilling and incapable of assisting us to locate which tower we were supposed to be in. Room not ready after check in time and absolutely FILTHY even after cleaning. We were told to occupy our two very young children in the road (a construction site) outside the premises while they cleaned. Surfaces clearly haven’t been cleaned or sanitised properly after previous guests once we returned, staff have not a care for any kind of COVID safety, no masks etc so a very real concern. Both buildings are still under heavy construction. Zero available parking despite checking that this would be available for us. Attitude of staff is probably the worst, we have your money so we don’t care

Stayed 3 nights in the Muse room. Let's start with the fact that upon check-in, we did not immediately find the hotel and its administrator. There are no pointers. You need to take the elevator to the 9th floor and find the room where the girl is sitting)). I do not want to describe the situation of this room, but it leaves much to be desired. Feeling like they live there. In the hallway from 12 to 23 with a little loud enough music plays, the room is clearly audible. After 22:00 she already gave us discomfort. The room itself is large and spacious. There is a TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, hair dryer, disposable slippers. Stable wi-fi. Room with a balcony, a view of the construction site a meter from the building and a little bit of the sea. Bathroom. Very inconvenient toilet! Watering can in the shower with cracks, water goes in different directions. Everything is very tired. Well, a white towel with stains as a gift (we were surprised to change it, but when you get out of the shower without expecting this, it's unpleasant).

The good is the location and view of the sea. But, frankly, the coastline is so long that it is easy to choose another option with no less good location. The apartment is very sad. The furniture is as cheap as possible. For 3 nights, two people left on a large towel and a small one. Seriously? There is a laundry machine in the apartment, but there is not even one pill for it. There are dishes, but there is no means to wash it. Again, for 3 nights, 2 people left on 1 tiny tube of shampoo and on the same tiny shower gel. Cleaning is not provided. I wonder, and if the family is settled for a week, they will not clean up and change their towels during this time too? The electricity is a separate song. Early or later, there will be a fire in this apartment and it will start with a lamp in the bathroom. The bathroom does not close the door because the lock is broken. I don't understand why it isn't possible to fix everything before people are set? When evicted, we were told to wait 10 minutes until we checked out whether the apartment is OK. I understand that this is a normal requirement, but can you somehow warn about it in advance? People can be late at the airport. The TV does not work - is disabled for non-payment, wi-fi is, but it is impossible to use it, as it is necessary to log in. There is a Sunset restaurant nearby from where the music is grinning at midnight. If you are hard to sleep, it will be a serious test for you. We were in room 2218 and I don 't advise anyone.
