Beach Hotels in Yantai

The Golden Gulf Hotel Yantai looks old from the outside but the interior is nicely furnished with modern technology. They use robots to send guest needs, they had heated toilet seats for the winter used. Among the 4 hotels I stayed at on this trip they are the only ones that provide heated toilet seats. That is their facility that impressed me. If they are not considered a local 5 Star hotel, they definitely have a 6 Star service. Service from the front office staff, to the operator from the call center and the host at the restaurant were excellent. They definitely left a very good impression on me as a guest of the hotel. Special thanks to Serene and Jenny at the front office for the excellent service provided during my stay. Will surely come back to stay here again when I visit Yantai in future.

Traveling with kids, we chose the Benarui Ting Hotel First Bathing Beach. The hotel's location is excellent; it's just a one or two-hundred-meter walk to the First Bathing Beach, and there's a bus stop right outside the hotel, offering direct routes to all the attractions. Since we were staying with children, sand-digging tools were delivered directly to our room. From check-in to check-out, a staff member named Xiao Meng left a deep impression on me. Her service was professional, her attitude kind, and she was able to accommodate my requests. I'd definitely give her a thumbs-up. The housekeeping staff also did a very professional and thorough job with cleaning. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Yantai in the future.

The Hilton Yantai Golden Coast offers a fantastic experience, perfect for families with children. It boasts stunning beachfront views; you can open your window to the beautiful Golden Beach. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Leah provided warm, thoughtful, and prompt service, even giving sand-digging tools to the kids upon check-in. The breakfast selection was rich and varied, including local specialties, and tasted great. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, with a pool and gym available. The rooms are spacious and clean, ensuring a comfortable stay with kids. It's an ideal choice for a vacation, and I'll definitely be back.

We stayed at the Sheraton Yantai for a family vacation. The staff, including LUCAS XIANG, were incredibly courteous and polite. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around. The soundproofing in the rooms is superb, and the hardware facilities are very well-maintained. Overall, in terms of value for money among high-end hotels in Yantai, it's a strong contender. It's also very close to the beach, so it's a great option if you're traveling with kids!

Open the window and you're greeted with stunning sea views and Yantai Mountain right in front of you! Red-roofed buildings, a blue harbor, and distant green hills, all clearly visible! The environment is absolutely top-notch! The service is attentive and responsive; little robots are constantly zipping around delivering water and other items. The breakfast is rich and varied, especially when you enjoy it on the 27th floor, admiring the beautiful scenery of Yantai Mountain while savoring both Eastern and Western dishes, along with a full selection of fruits and drinks. The location is convenient, just a few miles from the train station. Next time I'm in Yantai, I'll definitely choose Pullman again!

The balcony offers expansive sea views, and the rooms are spacious and family-friendly, well-equipped for family travel. 2. Direct access to Golden Beach, with a garden pathway connecting to the sand, eliminating the need to cross any roads, which is a great safety feature. The executive lounge on the 19th floor boasts panoramic sea views, and the afternoon tea experience overlooking the sea is delightful. 3. The dining quality is consistently good. The Marriott Chinese restaurant offers reliable Shandong cuisine and seafood, contributing to an overall luxurious resort feel. 4. The hotel is a bit further from 'The Lonely Whale' and 'Time Tower' compared to the Sheraton, making for a slightly longer walk. It's more suited for relaxing at the hotel and taking short strolls. 📸 Travel Photography Complimentary travel photography is offered, including a 40-minute shoot and 5 retouched photos. The main locations are the hotel's spiral staircase, palm garden, black pine forest, and the beach coastline, all exuding a sophisticated vibe. The photographers excel at simple yet grand compositions, perfect for those who appreciate a luxurious atmosphere in their photos.

This is my second stay at this hotel, and both times have been great. The hotel environment is beautiful, and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The Chinese restaurant's food is also very tasty. The front desk and housekeeping staff are all very dedicated and provide excellent service. You can walk to see the sunrise in just five minutes. The room facilities are clean and well-equipped. I'll definitely be back next time.

The positive attitude and service performance of the staff ranging from front desk, concierge/security to breakfast restaurant and house keeping is excellent. The classic hotel personal service with a modern twist makes the stay a memorable experience. On my check-in, Ms Xiao Jiao and Ms Xiao Cong gave me and explained briefly the leaflet on the hotel’s suggested tourist attractions in Yantai. They also enthusiastically exchanged small RMB notes with me. They also gave me a piece of mooncake of my choice (and during my check-out too). The restaurant staff is attentive, replenishing food and drinks and attending to requests promptly. Due to my lack of command of Mandarin and accent, the chef cooked the wanton instead of the mackerel dumplings for me, he immediately served me the dumplings when he realised the miscommunication. The next morning, after serving me the mackerel dumplings, he, I think, recognised me, suggested I could add soup and condiments to the dumplings. I find their fleshly cooked dumplings are even better than the dumplings from the most famous dumplings restaurant in Yantai. The concierge staff on 2 days helped me book taxi using her phone app, paying in advance on my behalf as booking via internet cannot be settled in cash. The concierge/front desk lent me umbrella without question. After a delayed and tiring flight, Mr Xiao Gao brought me to my room and explained the mechanics of the switches in the room. There was a hand-written welcome note from Ms Liu, with 2 cups of white fungus/goji drink beside it. The drink together with the note and fruits in the room, not only soothed my dry throat but also lifted the mood. House keeping provided fruits, white fungus/goji drink and dried chrysanthemum/rose flowers (to prepare for drinking) and 4 bottles (500 ml) of water daily, with up to 14 bottles at the lift lobby on my floor, and guests can also request house keeping for more bottles. On my check out day, during my breakfast, they left at the door handle, a bag of goodies, fruits and bottles of water and souvenirs (4 key chains with various types of sea shells), together with a hand-written farewell/bon voyage note from Ms Liu. Well done The Center Hotel staff, you are a pride to the hotel, the hospitality industry and Yantai!

This hotel deserves a perfect score! As soon as we arrived, a staff member proactively helped us with our luggage. The front desk was very efficient and even thoughtfully informed us about breakfast times. The room had excellent natural light, was spotlessly clean throughout, and had no strange odors. The mattress and pillows were just right, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. There's 24-hour hot water, and both the air conditioning's heating and cooling worked powerfully. Downstairs, there are plenty of dining options and a supermarket, making getting around incredibly convenient. Winnie from Guest Relations provided excellent service, thoughtfully arranging our room and promptly responding to any issues during our stay. For the same price point, the quality here far surpasses other places. It's perfect for both leisure and business travelers. I genuinely recommend it to all my friends, and I'll definitely book here again next time!

The rooms and hotel facilities are great, with three different hotel styles sharing amenities like a playground and hot springs. It definitely holds its own against other resort hotels. It's a shame that operating in the northern off-season can be tough, as some facilities aren't fully open during that time. Breakfast at the Knight Hotel can get a bit crowded and noisy. We even received complimentary night tickets to the Three Immortals Mountain during the holiday. Staff seemed a bit limited, but I hope things improve in the future!
