"The service staff are friendly and kind. The room is spacious and the breakfast is pretty good. The location is moderate, about 15 minutes' walk from the city center and various attractions. There are also several supermarkets nearby, which is very convenient."
"Hotel is located in an excellent location, within a few minutes walking distance to the Byggen, the tourist info center. The Floibanen station with the tram train up to the Floyen view point is just 100 meters behind the hotel. The airport bus also stop near to the hotel. It is a bit far from the train station.
There are many restaurants around the area and near to the Square.
Room is quite large. Was allocated a roon with great view of the hills behind.
Service was also very prompt and friendly. Breakfast was excellent."
"It's about 10 minutes from the train station. The location is pretty good. It's in the city center and close to the cable car. There is a flybus at the door of the hotel, which can go directly to the airport. It's very convenient. It costs 169 Norwegian kroner per person. In this way, you don't have to drag your suitcase to the train station. After all, it's all cobblestone roads, which are very troublesome to walk."

"Conveniently located
Minutes to railway station and near to the tourist information where most tours begin.
Kitchen has oven. fridge, toaster and kettle so it’s easy to make your hot drinks and heat up food. It’s got comfortable seating as well.
Room only has one type of universal shampoo/body wash so recommended to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste and conditioner.
Just opposite is the supermarket so it’s really convenient.
Airport to hotel uber was about 660noks."
"Facilities: Very new. Connecting family rooms, usually two single rooms, combined into a family room with two bedrooms and a small living room when needed, so there are two bathrooms, very convenient.
Hygiene: Clean
Environment: Very close to Bergen Fish Market and hot dog stand, only a few minutes away
Service: Very good
Remember the appearance of the hotel. When we were looking for the hotel with our luggage on the first day, we passed by the hotel several times and thought it was a Japanese restaurant because the hotel sign at the door was too small. And when I booked the hotel a month ago, there were no photos of the hotel's appearance on Ctrip because the hotel was under renovation.
Rich breakfast."
"A basic but good hotel with clean and sound proof rooms, not far from city centre and tourist attractions. There is a park and marina within 10 minutes walking distance. I would stay here again on my next trip to Bergen."
"It was a bit far from the station, but it was nice because it was right in front of the fish market.
The room was comfortable and spacious, and it was nice to have slippers.
It was a bit disappointing that there was no refrigerator.
I got it because I heard the dinner was delicious, but the quality was really bad.
There's some soup and a salad, and there's not much left...
I heard it was all-you-can-eat salmon, but that's definitely not the case."
"The location is very good, the train station can be reached on foot, it is convenient to go shopping in the city center to the main attractions, there is a big supermarket on the basement floor of the mall Galleriet diagonally opposite, everything is complete, the price is cheaper than the surrounding convenience stores, especially the large bottle of mineral water 1.5 Lift price ~ there are 7-11 three One in ten, there are hot foods such as roast chicken ribs and salmon sashimi, much cheaper than the fish market. The hotel breakfast is good, the free luggage self-service is also very convenient, the staff is more enthusiastic, the room is not big."
"The room is clean and quiet. Reception staff friendly. Breakfast is excellent and they have the Nespresso machine! Dinner menu is very limited."

Very Good
GGuest UserThe room is 20 square meters, not big. The waiter forgot to put drinking water on the first night. I took medicine for allergies in the middle of the night and there was no water to drink. I drank tap water. Fortunately, the tap water in Norway is drinking water.
There was a violin performance at breakfast. I listened to it while eating breakfast. It was pretty good.

EEdisThe location of the hotel is amazing - right on the airport. Very easy to find and easy to check in. I loved the simple design. If you are traveling early in the morning, fear not because because you can have early breakfast starting at 4:30. Amazing place with 24/7 gym! Highly recommend if you need to sleep at the airport!
AAToiI recently enjoyed a 3-night stay at Hotel No.13 in Bergen. While my room lacked windows, it was comfortable and cleaned daily, making it a pleasant place to return to after a day of travel. The absence of a window didn't bother me much, as I spent most of my time exploring the city. The check-in and check-out staff were notably friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. The daily breakfast included in my rate was basic.
What truly stands out is the hotel's convenient location which is near Byparken Station and walkable distance to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen one of the most popular tourist attractions in Norway. It is a historic wharf with colorful wooden houses dating back to the 14th century.

DDarren611The hotel seems a little run down. I read through comments on here before booking and someone mentioned a hole in the tile in the bathroom and hotel management responded saying maintenance would be called. This comment was a couple of years ago and the hole is still there. I was in the annex building which is definitely more dilapidated. Maybe invest some of the money back into the hotel?
Also the guests in the room next to mine were having a party but the staff shut it down after speaking with them.
I’ve stayed in a about 12 hotels in the last five weeks traveling around Europe and this hotel is very close to the bottom of the list which is surprising as I expected more from the Norway leg of my journey.
The staff were very friendly though, it’s just a shame the hotel management doesn’t utilize their profits for the benefit of the hotel and staff.

MMuhsen AhmedOverall, wanted a hotel chain that was not involved in anything controversial and had good sustainability records. This hotel was authentic and built in the early 20th century and best of all had Scandinavian/Norway roots which is what I was looking for!
The hotel was in an excellent location in a city centre and it was easy to walk everywhere, the train station, the taxi from the airport dropped us off right outside the hotel, the funicular and museums and wharf were all within 10-15 minutes away. Many shops and restaurants are nearby too.
The breakfast was good, a range of fresh jam and the bread was of good standards. They had a nice cinnamon bun and waffle, so it was good to try their authentic snacks. They had melon and fruits as well with a selection of cheese, I liked their brown cheese the best personally.
The welcoming hotel lady 'upgraded' us to a nice room with a view of the Bryggen Wharf and beautiful mountains, quite similar to the view you would find in the breakfast room too. It was a clean, spacious room with soft bedding which made it a comfortable stay. There was some noise from the main road which the reception warned us about as it is close to the night activities but thanks to the blacked out curtains and our deep sleep we didn't get affected by it. We had the option to change if we wanted but we were happy with it. The only downside I would say is the singles beds were together for the room as we thought it was double but it was very comfortable though and we had a good sleep. If it was stapled together it might be better so it doesn't move when in the edges. All in all, a friendly hotel in a perfect location.

GGuest UserThe hotel is easily accessible to all touristic places in Bergen, it’s only 5mins to the Bergen habour.
Staff at the reception is friendly.
The room that we booked is a little bit small for two people but the interesting point of the room is the high glass ceiling.

JJasin LinaMy 2nd stays when visit Bergen on October 2022 and April 2023 both visit are for 3 nights each stays. I love Thon hotel because the breakfast was amazing, so many varieties of food and delicious. The room is very nice and clean and comfortable beds. Shower room is nice and the adjustment of the water is perfect. I love the chocolate they serve in ours first check in. Delicious. Parking is not free but easy access. The hotel is located in the heart of Bergen old Town, only walk about 2 minutes from the lobby, beautiful Maria Church also 2 minutes from the lobby, definitely will come back...strongly recommend 😍 you can watch my channel about all hotels I recommend on WTLJ YouTube, thanks 😊

GGuest UserGreat location esp to light rail, bybanen to airport 150m away from hotel. Central to everything incl Bryggen.
Rooms are small, dusty, noisy ! The hotel operates a club 2 floors above rooms and I guess they expect to sell rooms to drunken revelers who dont mind noisy music till 2 am in the morning - I do mind. Its been terrible as I have a morning flight and getting sleep was impossible.
