New hotel, state of the art, very nice amenities, clean, lovely linens, good bed. Walkable to restaurants. Our disappointment was that we booked an Executive King Suite and were given a Queen mini room, a fact only admitted to after we were in the room and inquired. Since the hotel was fully booked, we had no choice but to accept the room. The room and bathroom were so small that only one of the two of us could move at the same time.The proprietor offered a free coffee and refunded NZ$40. We understand that mistakes happen, but we paid too much for what we got. We recommend the hotel because it is lovely and extremely well done. Had it not been for this, we would have given five stars even though the hotel lacks a lift. Strongly suggest guests confirm directly with the hotel to ensure they get the accommodation they booked.
