"Loved staying here at Peppers Craigieburn. It’s a quaint country stay, great for an overnight while heading to A Day on The Green. SO close to the venue, vibes were high, and there’s a shuttle bus that picks you up right at the driveway. What a lovely way to spend a night in Bowral at such a beautiful old building.
If you want a renovated room though definitely call in advance and sort that before. Ours was really nice but could tell it was a bit older."
"As always, the environment is elegant and American Hampton manor style, the breakfast is particularly rich, and the swimming pool is suitable for adults and children. It is the first choice for spending summer vacation with family every summer."
"Booked a studio room , upon entry to the room it was furnished and styled to a really high standard , but sadly the sound proofing was average , the room is approximately 30 meters from a very busy road and from 5am traffic there was very heavy , meaning the room was very noisy.. certainly wouldn’t book a studio room again .."
"Peaceful location. Staff friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed delicious breakfasts on our 3-night stay. Dinner on the last night was also delicious and service good. Would definitely recommend."

Outstanding
AAnonymous UserThe mobile phone signal is weak, so the natural experience is good. There is no chance to watch junk mobile phones and TV, and you can listen to the birds gossip quietly. Lie on the bed and watch the stars. Kangaroos come to visit in the evening. The landlord is very nice and the bathroom is cleaner than a five-star hotel. You must try cooking your own BBQ dinner. The steak, sausage and tomatoes bought locally are great. Salt and pepper sprayed with olive oil are better than Michelin and Black Pearl. Natural is always the best! I highly recommend staying for 2-3 days. I only booked one day and regretted not staying another night to experience the surrounding farms, wineries and food. I will definitely come again next time I come to Australia!
GGuest UserWhat a great find in the Southern Highlands with fabulous welcoming service. Unfortunately, my husband and I could only stay one night (which is difficult to do over weekends), but this place was perfect and made the weekend special. Peaceful outlook and not overly crowded like the big resorts. We would definitely recommend.
GGuest UserPeaceful location. Staff friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed delicious breakfasts on our 3-night stay. Dinner on the last night was also delicious and service good. Would definitely recommend.
Yyzx1236The hotel's natural environment is very beautiful and very suitable for vacation. The room was clean and tidy, but the food in the restaurant was average. The variety of breakfast is single and does not make any changes. I stayed for four consecutive nights and had the same breakfast for four days, which was very frustrating.
YYukikoAlthough it is far from the station, the hotel has a special feeling to it. The interior has a wonderful classic atmosphere, and there was even a fireplace in the room where we had dinner and breakfast. I heard that it gets busy on weekends with weddings and such, but since I stayed there on a weekday, there were not many guests, and I was engrossed in exploring the hotel and the garden (there are miniature horses!). Although it was only for a short time, my stay in this mansion-like hotel made me feel like I was a character in an Agatha Christie novel.
GGuest UserA hotel that is worth experiencing. The hotel was first built when the local train was opened, and the Scottish style is well preserved. Although the room I stayed in did not have a bathroom, the public bathroom was very clean and tidy. The restaurant was almost full at dinner, and the beer was rich in fruity aroma and rich in layers, and it was delicious.
GGuest UserThis was our first stay here and we were pleasantly surprised. We only needed a room for one night but would have happily stayed several nights. It’s a beautiful, historic building with full amenities and warm, eager to please staff. The grounds are beautifully kept and worth a little explore. we had dinner on site which was lovely, no complaints whatsoever! We would happily return.
