Xinyuan Hotels with Breakfast

Just arrived back to Singapore from Xinjiang, and i am already miss the cool weather and great views. After staying in many hotels and homestay, the one that left the most impression was still this 宿心一号院, was introduced by a friend and got amazed by it in many ways. Firstly the environment, Xinjiang is well-known for great natural scenes and this place demonstrates it perfectly. The yard is blooming with flowers and filled with many trees. For a second, i thought the flowers and grass are fake as they look so fine. The place is serene and chill, i could just spend the day just on the well maintaijed yard. I spent few hours on the chair on the grass patch just to look at the moutains and let the warm sun do its magic. In late April, i managed to catch both side of perks. In front of me, i am witnessing moutains turning green by day. And if i just turn around, my eyes are filled with gorgeous snow mountains. I was blown away by the scenery, and totally lost track of time. The owner spent great effort on designing the place and creating the atmosphere. You would see a friendly cat roaming around freely and few cute rabbits chewing on the grass。 was told that more flowers are hiding under the grounds and trees are waiting to bear fruits. There is a backyard where they grow vegetables and fruits, raissd over 100 chickens just to provide the freshness. They also have a tree house that is facing the river, that is where i would stay the next time. Must be great waking up to see a river in front of you. Secondly the food, they provide awesome breakfast. Organic fresh ingredients with the magic hand from the local chef make magics. I don't usually eat tomatoes but can't say no to their tomatoes fried eggs. Their chicken are self-raised and you can expect the nothing but quality. 大盘鸡 dapanji， also known as big plate chicken, love the potatoes that comes with it. The best potatoes ever! Also did order some of the local dishes, all is good. Lastly, the host and staff are the highlights of the stay. The host is a humorous gentleman that is filled with passion, he shared with me many things and can tell he loves what he do. He gave me quire a few food recommendations on the possible places to go, what to skip and what to expect. Cant find a better local guide than him. The staffs too are interesting people, managed to understand Xinjiang better with their help. It was fun to talk to young people that is filled with energy.

The room was clean and tidy, with a wet/dry separation in the bathroom and stable water pressure. On the day we checked in, there was a widespread water outage in Nalati Town. While other places were struggling with water supply, this guesthouse still had a very smooth water flow, which made for an excellent experience! The guesthouse environment is elegant, and the location is superb, offering a quiet retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. It's only 800 meters from the Nalati Tourist Center, and the balcony directly faces the Nalati Grassland, providing an absolutely stunning view. Downstairs, there are supermarkets, restaurants, a wet market, and pharmacies, making life very convenient. However, even with such great facilities, nothing compares to the warmth brought by the landlady and her daughter. They are both genuinely warm and sincere, treating guests like family and showing thoughtful care in every detail. Since taxis are scarce in Nalati, the landlady arranged for her daughter to drive us to the tourist center. A family member traveling with us felt ill from the journey and couldn't check out on time, but the landlady readily agreed to a free extended checkout. After we left Nalati, we even received a message from the landlady, thoughtfully asking about my family member's health and if they had sought medical attention. When traveling, it's rare to encounter such simple and warm-hearted guesthouse owners. I genuinely recommend this place to anyone visiting Nalati!

This guesthouse in Narati was the best accommodation we had during our entire Xinjiang trip. The aesthetic appeal of both the exterior and interior design is evident, with attention to detail truly standing out. I particularly loved the green plant views from our room. The comfort level was excellent too; the bedding was soft, and the latex pillows were absolutely amazing. We loved them so much that we bought the same kind when we checked out. They didn't skimp on amenities either: a Dyson hairdryer, L'Occitane toiletries, a coffee machine, a magnifying mirror, a washing machine, and more. What truly impressed us the most was the service. From the manager to every staff member, everyone genuinely cared about the guests' experience. In the evening, when we ordered food, they even sent up some small pastries, and the next morning, they treated us to coffee with breakfast, which was a really thoughtful touch. Due to a change in our itinerary, we had to shorten our two-night stay to one, and the guesthouse was incredibly accommodating, kindly waiving the fee for the second night. Overall, it was a comfortable, considerate, and high-quality experience. It's not one of those mass-produced 'influencer' guesthouses; they genuinely put their heart into their service.

My overall stay far exceeded expectations, definitely a five-star experience! The room cleaning was meticulous and thorough, with no dust in the corners. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and there was no musty or strange smell. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too hard – and the soundproofing was excellent. It was quiet and peaceful at night, allowing me to sleep soundly until morning. The front desk staff were gentle and patient, and check-in was efficient. They promptly answered all my questions. The surrounding area is very convenient for dining and getting around, with complete amenities. The price was fair with no hidden costs. This is now my top choice for accommodation, and I've already saved it!

It's rare to find a decent breakfast in Xinjiang, but this hotel has a great selection, served from 8 AM to 10 AM. The room features fully smart appliances. What I loved most was the washing machine and the constant-temperature mineral water, which was super convenient for mixing milk. Nalat Grassland is quite big, and the hotel is only a 5-minute drive from the scenic area's main gate, which was very convenient as I was traveling with a child. We stayed for two nights.

Hygiene: The room was generally clean and tidy. The bedding, bathroom, and public areas were well-maintained. I was quite satisfied with the hygiene during my stay. Environment: The overall decor was quite stylish, and the lobby was spacious and beautiful with excellent views directly overlooking the grasslands. The room decor and overall quality were also good. The hotel is very close to the entrance of the Nalati Scenic Area. We happened to encounter rain on the day of our check-in, so we decided to skip the scenic area and spent most of the day relaxing and watching shows at the hotel, which was quite comfortable. Service: The staff generally had a great service attitude and were friendly in their communication. On the day of our stay, our takeout order was delivered to the wrong place. The butler, Ayao, spent about one to two hours searching for it, and thankfully, it was eventually found. I hope they can further optimize the process for receiving, storing, and handing over takeout orders in the future. Facilities: The hotel's hardware facilities were generally good, and the room was well-equipped. The washing and drying facilities were particularly convenient for long-distance self-driving tourists like us. We were able to use our free time to wash and dry the clothes that had accumulated during our journey. Overall, the hotel performed very well in terms of location, environment, and hardware, especially its proximity to the scenic area entrance and the beautiful grassland views. Even if the weather was bad and we couldn't go out, relaxing at the hotel was quite comfortable. The service was generally good, though there's still room for improvement in some management details.

Oh I need to say this. Not only this hotel is amazing, the people are very welcoming. This is the best hotel that we stayed during our trip to Xinjiang. The room is absolutely clean and beautiful. You will have stunning view through your window room. We really sad to leave the hotel and also the people because we not only treated as guest but as a family. Don’t worry about the distance to Nalati Scenic Area, they will bring you to the Nalati anytime you want. If you don’t have a time to go to Nalati, don’t worry, the scenic around the hotel is extension of Nalati itself. You will never get disappointed. Definitely, will be back again. I was immediately struck by its beauty upon entering! The courtyard was filled with flowers, the wooden furniture exuded a warm and inviting feel, and sunlight streamed in through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Sipping tea and gazing at the greenery outside, I didn't want to leave the house at all. In the evenings, chatting and enjoying the breeze on the terrace made me feel like I was slowing down the pace of life, as comfortable as being at a friend's house.

For foodies, this place can be described as ”absolutely delightful”! The fresh welcome fruit was crisp and delicious (as expected from Xinjiang)! The local yogurt was rich and amazing! The freshly ground coffee, Nescafé, had an inviting aroma – pure bliss with a touch of therapy! And let's not forget breakfast! The variety was truly extensive: hot dishes, pastries, porridges, snacks, fruits, eggs freshly fried by the chef at the live cooking station, yogurt with a multitude of toppings, toasted bread, and so many kinds of cakes. There were so many choices, no need to settle for anything less. We had a hearty and satisfying breakfast, then headed straight to the Nalat Grassland Scenic Area, saving us the trouble of finding breakfast outside early in the morning. We took some dry food for lunch while exploring the grasslands, so we didn't have to rush back for meals all day. The itinerary was relaxed and comfortable, perfectly suited for visiting the scenic area. Yep, that pretty much sums up all the foodie joys, haha!

The hotel's location is great, within walking distance to Narati, which is a big plus! The hotel itself is large with a spacious lobby, but its size also means it can be a bit confusing to navigate. It could use more staff. Breakfast was decent; there was a good variety, but the taste was just okay. As for facilities, I particularly want to mention the laundry room. It really needs an update. I had to search for it, finding it in an adjacent building and quite tucked away. In the end, I couldn't iron my clothes due to insufficient facilities and had to go back. The room is a bit old-fashioned but fully equipped, giving off vibes of hotels from a decade ago during an economic boom. Overall cleanliness was acceptable, but I'm deducting points because I found a centipede-like insect in the room just before check-out (perhaps due to the excellent natural environment?).
