nice hotel, location and service all good

We had a very pleasant one night stay. The hotel is amazing - the car park so unique, and the rooms quite historic! The rooms had everything needed. However, just a few little cleanliness issues with some dust etc which could have been rectified to make this a 10/10. However, it was a really really nice stay. Perhaps the beds could have been king (not queen), just to bring it up to scratch with other hotels. Also, there is no pool I don’t believe - so just be mindful. There is lots of roadworks occurring due to the new Cross River Rail. But, we’d definitely stay again. The carpark is on a platform system which raises / lowers your cars (like a funeral burial) for space spacing. Excellent!

This hotel is really good. It is located in the Queen Street area. It has a retro style and a stylish accent. The hotel facilities are very complete and complete, including a washing machine, kitchen, dining table, desk and sofa. The room is very spacious. The front desk is patient and enthusiastic, and can speak Chinese. The most important thing is The price is also very affordable! Thumbs up!

It is an old British-style hotel. There are oil paintings and porcelain exhibits in the hotel corridor. The windows are sealed, resulting in poor ventilation. The room has a faint musty smell. The serviced apar**ent is fully equipped with pots and pans, and there is no dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Machines are complete! The service attitude of the Chinese guy is very good!

The hotel itself was amazing clean convenient however road roads around the site made it difficult to park.

I stayed in a Deluxe Room, which I believe most people would consider a bit outdated - but it was a large space, and quiet despite being on the second floor overlooking the street. Comfortable bed, good shower, quiet a/c. Well equipped kitchenette. Friendly and helpful staff. The only downsides were no power socket by the bed (the cable for the bedside light comes directly out of the wall!), and the entrance and shower room were on a different level from the rest of the room - it’s necessary to go up and down four steps to go between the two parts of the room. Note that the room description on ******* says there is a “Safe” in the room, but this is a lie - there is no safe. The hotel really should remove the “Safe” item from the room description of all room types that don’t have one actually in the room. I have rated the hotel “Poor” (4/10) for communication for this reason.

Centrally located in heart of Brisbane, lovely Cafe adjoining hotel, excellent staff only to happy to help. Quaint boutique hotel, high ceilings, built in 1913 with a lovely feel, would definitely go back

This hotel badly needs a revamp. I am aware that they have a particular theme, but the furniture is old and uncomfortable. However, the bed was very comfortable!

The construction work across Elizabeth Street in the middle of the night affected my sleep. This part was very miserable, but the others were good.

Very nice staff. The hotel is extremely comfortable, clean and quiet. Easily better than the big “corporates” in the area.

Beautiful heritage building. Easy access and close to all city and surrounding attractions.
