Hotel Le Plaza Brussels

Brussel Brussels|1.4km from Ninoofsepoort
I was whisked away to old world opulence as I walked into Le Plaza. The ornate chandelier, intricate carpet, and polished seating created a luxurious atmosphere. I was greeted by a friendly night front desk staff member named Ashley. He checked me in quickly and let me know that I could order something to eat if I was hungry. The elevator ride up to my room was a delight. The hallway was decorated in a vintage style, and my room, 534, felt like a miniature villa. The bathroom was gorgeous, and it had all the amenities I needed. It was a bit of a mix of vintage and modern, with a flat screen TV. The floor-to-ceiling windows let in a lot of natural light, and I woke up feeling luxurious every morning. The food at Le Plaza was delicious. I had breakfast in the hotel restaurant, and it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The service was also excellent. I never had to wait long for anything, and the staff was always friendly and attentive. I injured myself during my stay, and Ashley and the other night staff member, Luis, were very helpful. They gave me first aid supplies and helped me get ice for my injury. I was very grateful for their help. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at Le Plaza. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay. The location of the hotel is great. It's in the heart of the city, close to all the major attractions The hotel offers a variety of room types, so you can find the perfect one for your needs. The hotel has a variety of dining options, so you can find something to suit your taste. I hope this helps!

Atlas Hotel Brussels

Brussel Brussels|0.55km from Ninoofsepoort
Stayed here for 3 nights, the hotel is welcoming and so very quiet. It is clean and comfortable within walking distance to most of the tourist hot spots, surrounded by bars and restaurants it is a little jewel. On arrival the staff give you a detailed street map showing the location of the hotel that was an absolute godsend. Breakfast was sufficient, selection of cold meats (3), varieties of bread, eggs, cheeses, tinned fruit, cereal, limited salad items, yoghurt and pastries, bean to cup coffee machines (surprisingly good), tea and juice were the beverage offerings. There was certainly enough to get you through to lunch. The rooms were spacious with coffee and tea making facilities with paper cups!!, whilst this ensures a clean cup every day it’s not everyone’s choice, after reading someone’s comments on this I took 2 coffee cups with me, extra coffee and tea bags which was perfect. There is a fridge in the room should you need it. 2 plug sockets on the desk by the lamp adequate for phone/iPad. The TV has multiple programs including BBC1 /2 not just the news should you want it. Bathroom is spacious with a bathtub and over bath shower, hand wash and shower gel provided but in our room no matter how you positioned the shower it still leaked onto the floor. The floors are named after different continents with each room representing a city/place. There is a lift but we were lucky to be on the ground floor. The staff were helpful and polite apart from one whose attitude was just so downright rude when we asked if he could find out when our taxi was coming, if he doesn’t like dealing with people then he is in the wrong position, all the other staff are super helpful with advice. The location is perfect an abundance of restaurants and bars within 5 mins whatever way you walk. This is not a 5 star hotel nor does it claim to be, however the staff work exceedingly hard to bring to you a clean and welcoming place in a vibrant, bustling city. Please note that the hotel handbook states breakfast finishes at 10:30 this is not true as we witnessed a family arrive at 10:05 to be told breakfast finishes at 10:00 weekdays 10:30 on the weekend. They do tell you this at check in but the handbook needs changing.

Before booking this hotel currently be advised that the lobby is under complete renovation and there is a temporary registration desk on the ground floor of the hotel. Additionally, they are installing new elevators, however the existing elevators are very old and one of them wouldn’t service the floor I was staying on. The rest of the hotel has been completely upgraded, with very nice rooms. The main issue was that Belgium was under a heat wave while I was visiting with temperatures in the high 80s. My air conditioner was blowing warm air and I asked three different times to have it fixed to no avail. I ended up sleeping in a very hot room with the windows opened and had to listen to very loud crowds which apparently congregate all night on the street below, so know that the “historic views”come at a price with loud noise. I live in Chicago so I am used to noise at night, but constant loud conversation and laughing one level below is very bothersome. The breakfast is being served in the executive lounge, so for Marriott elites just be forewarned that the breakfast is very crowded with all hotel guests being served in the lounge, however the quality of the breakfast was nice with very friendly staff. This hotel will be nice when they finish it — just be forewarned about the street noise and staff who will not fix the air conditioning, creating a very undesirable stay from a Marriott Platinum Elite guest.

Hotel location is very good, not far from the central square, strolling is coming, we stayed in four beds, just four people, one per person, no extra charge, including the head tax, the first floor restaurant has The hot water bottle can be used to boil water on its own. Although the facilities in the store are simple, it is really a good choice for those who want to sleep outside at night. It is a good choice for a person who is very suitable for travel. Feeling. And it’s check out at 12 o'clock, there is no extra money, the front desk is also very good.

Hotel downgraded us from Triple Superior Room to Double standard with an extra bed, Trip.com did nothing to assist us in the matter but offered 1.50€ in their coins as compensation, only at the day of check out trip.com is apologizing and wants to come to the bottom of the matter, too little too late! No more Trip.com Hotel is decent, older, with perfect location in the centre!

Triples & Quads Beware! I have never rated a place this low. The reason it’s getting even 3 stars is because it was a beautiful and large room. A king bed! Plus a sofa sleeper. And price was average to good. Everything seemed clean and new. It was on the top 4 th floor. Nice looking room but SO hot. It was about 75 degrees outside that day. Thermostat was locked to go no lower than 20 degrees which I think is about 70 F. But I would’ve froze if it was that temp. At home I keep it 77-78 degrees. This felt like 80+. The desk clerk said nothing could be done. The room had one fan. I think it may have been the only room that slept more than two. It felt like the same temp as the hallway and that wasn’t air- conditioned and got noticeably cooler as you walked down. By morning the a/ c appeared to be working. The only windows were skylights. We were on the front side of the hotel and in what seemed to be one of the most happening squares in Brussels. We had to open the skylights because of the heat and it was still way too warm- hardly made a difference.- and was so , so loud I didn’t fall asleep for 3 hours. Neither did my sister. It was very loud until about 11:30 and then moderately loud till I fell asleep after 1:00. Voices and cars drag- racing . All in all, a miserable night. In addition , the shower was not in a closed - off area, so no privacy. There was a coffee machine( Nespresso) but no cream ( I did ask ). At some point in the night , one of the other two occupants shut the skylights. At 7:30 am the garbage and recycling trucks came through. I heard it though I was already awake- it didn’t wake me up. Even if you are only two, you’d do well to ask for a room not over the street if you want to sleep.

Very a fantastic hotel in the centre of Brussels. It is near to many attractions and also near to the metro. Just take a day pass and roam around the city with peace of mind. Very good breakfast, though not a wide variety, but it's good enough. There were few disappointments. Firstly, The rooms were small but I think it is because of the small properties in any central part of any European city with a rich history. Secondly, at the reception, they told us the breakfast is from 6:30 to 11 AM but never mentioned it is only on weekends. On a fine Monday, we got up at 10 and went to breakfast at 10:30 AM but nothing was available. I was really horrified and I wanted not to come back. But as I raised concerns, one lady officer at the reception - INES handled it very well and pulled the strings. Mr. Abel, the chef come to us, talked to us, and having understood the concern, he baked us fresh croissants and pastries! Man, he is an amazing chef. Sir Abel got them fresh and was mind-blogging. This wiped out all my frustration and made me think I should come back again!
