It's just an ordinary suite with good sanitation. It's a bit noisy near the roadside, you need to pay extra for parking, and you can only park at the church opposite, it's best to reserve a parking space.
Stayed for a week and was generally satisfied. It is 2 bus stops away from Sydney University and 10 minutes walk. There is a food supermarket nearby that is open until 11 o'clock and 2 cafes for filling your stomach; but it is not as convenient as other areas; the hotel has a self-service laundry service, but the washing machine is very dirty, not as good as the nearby laundromat; the waiter cleans the room casually every day, sometimes only making one bed, sometimes forgetting to clean the bathroom; like most Australian hotels, there are no slippers or toothbrushes, so Chinese friends need to bring their own.

It's OK, but the downside is that I can only stay for one day. They didn't let me stay, saying that they only accept travelers between 18 and 40 years old.
This hotel is very good, with convenient transportation. There is a train station and a supermarket 100 meters away. There is a small cloakroom in the room. It is very convenient to store luggage. There is also an induction cooker, microwave and tableware. The front desk staff is very enthusiastic.
With a stay at Empire Hotel in Sydney (Annandale), you'll be a 1-minute drive from University of Sydney and 6 minutes from Star Casino. This hotel is 4.1 mi (6.6 km) from Circular Quay and 4.3 mi (6.9 km) from Sydney Opera House.
Grab a bite to eat at Dales Pizza, one of the hotel's many dining establishments, which include 2 restaurants and a coffee shop/cafe. Wrap up your day with a drink at the bar/lounge.
The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Make yourself at home in one of the 21 guestrooms. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Bathrooms have showers and hair dryers.
I was lucky enough to have my room ready in advance, before 2PM and since my flight arrived early in the morning, that was really nice !
Cathy was also a wonderful person in general, throughout my stay.
The room is pretty big, with a sink and a fridge. 👌🏻
The room I had is next to the common area however people weren't too loud, especially in the evening despite it roughly being the dinner time so that was nice.
The area is very chill, a few schools and houses around so not loud at night. It is, however, situated on the planes' route and they are pretty low in the sky since it gets close to the airport. But there aren't any at night (around midnight until 6AM I would say) and it's not every 5 minutes either.
The sun set pretty early at that time of the year and to me, I felt like the neighborhood lacked lights for people to walk around but it wasn't much of a bother and not something the lodge can change, so just a heads-up to have a small light/enough battery on the phone to use when coming back from your day trip activities.
This hotel is in Newtown where you can enjoy sightseeing. In my opinion, it is very easy to travel from this hotel because there is a bus stop in front of it. Moreover, this hotel has a shuttle bus service which can drop you off at the airport. It’s very comfortable for me. I like it🫶🏼.
The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, with a breathtaking ocean view. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved the modern amenities
