"Had a lovely couple of days at the Radisson. Staff were excellent, was upgraded to a superior room and a very good central location near Cardiff Central train station and the city centre. Recommend it 👍👍"
"I was travelling with business and selected the hotel due to location and the fact it has a car park. I was pleased to find the hotel was better than I had expected. Very comfortable with a large bedroom and plenty of space for my things. I was more pleased when I found out it is a pet friendly hotel. I will be back with my 4 legged friends next time as it is a very convenient location with plenty of facilities nearby."
"There is no pressure in the shower, the water is running very slowly, the toilet is dirty, the toilet seat is broken, the room is hot despite the open window, strong ventilation or some air conditioning indicated, no coffee, tea in the room, you have to go to the reception for it and this is another building, and in the morning after a hard night it is not nice to go anywhere without coffee or tea, at the reception service nice, despite the details, price ok, location also about 12 minutes by car from the center"

"The Angel Hotel was perfect for a short City Break. The staff were all great, friendly and professional. Check in and out was simple. The room was ideal, slightly dated but everything was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable and the shower had a good powerful flow. We were only there for one night so the only other service I tried was the Bar. Again the service was first class. The Hotel has a central location just opposite the Castle. I would highly recommend this Hotel and I would definitely book again. Thank you."
"Their waiters were easy-going, but they smelled a smell before walking to the corridor and entering the room. Fortunately, we lived in G/F because there was no elevator. Fortunately, the hot water in the bath was hot enough."

"The hotel is located in the city centre, with a supermarket and Chain fast food restaurants nearby, including 24 hours McDonald’s. The hotel design follows an industrial style, the rooms are spacious, and the bed is extremely comfortable. The restroom locate on the sixth floor has a very quiet and elegant atmosphere. The breakfast provided by the restaurant is delicious. The only downside is that the elevator was out of order during my stay."
"The room was generally clean and tidy although it was very noisy overnight due to its location, the beds were comfortable enough, an extra pillow would have been nice.
Location was great for my trip, but the condition of the bathroom was a bit on the shabby side. The bottom of the bathroom door frame and the actual door were rotting and had been for quite a while"
"Everything was on our expectations from 3 star. Room size was spacious. Kids can stay free. Breakfast was served fresh and everything available as per needed. Location was central which helped us reaching to main attractions easily. I would recommend."

FFilnadService was top-notched. As a hilton gold member, i was given complimentary upgrade to the King Junior Suite. We had access to the lounge as well. Overall, it was an amazing stay. Would definitely comeby again next time.
MMatthew JamesThe hotel was one of the highlights of our visit to Cardiff. Unparalleled views over the Bay Area from our balcony. An easy stroll down to the docks and everything that goes on there and a cheap Uber to the city centre. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfy. Breakfast was lovely. In fact the only downside was the car parking fee. Really enjoyed this hotel.
GGuest UserClayton was okay as far as hotels go, it was nice having a view of Cardiff from a top floor, staff were friendly too.
The Gym was tiny for the size of the hotel, the bedroom was a standard double room, the reviews said that the Clayton had been newly refurbished, but felt that the room was dated. Due to windows not being able to be open due to H&S, there was no fresh air, just air con. The room was mostly clean, few stains on the carpet, and floor felt dusty.
The hotel location was great, near the train station and in town, but for the cost, I was expecting something much better, as the night before we had a much cheaper hotel, and rooms came with kitchens, and were very modern - wish I had stayed at that one for the extra few nights.
GGuest UserThis was a delightful stopover right in the middle of Cardiff, the room was clean, the bathroom was even cleaner. I shall be back in two weeks.
GGuest UserI really enjoyed my stay overall. The location was fantastic—on a beautiful street—and the hotel building itself is stunning. When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by a very kind Italian gentleman, which gave me a great first impression. My room, though located in a separate area, was clean, modern, and nicely decorated. Everything looked fresh and well thought out.
However, I was disappointed to find visible stains on the bed sheets. While I believe they had been washed, the stains hadn’t come out and the sheets were still used, which didn’t match the high standard the rest of the hotel presented. I think they should have replaced them.
Another minor inconvenience was the bathroom light, which was automatic and triggered the extractor fan. This meant that even during the night, using the bathroom caused the noisy fan to stay on for a while, which could’ve been avoided with a manual light switch, in my opinion.
Despite these issues, the stay was mostly very positive, but I can’t give a full five stars because of the sheets. Hopefully this can be improved for future guests.
JJoy63391The hotel room is cozy, clean, and budget-friendly, making it a great choice for travelers. However, it is quite small, with no table or chair, and limited space for bags, which may be a challenge for those with a lot of luggage. Despite this, the warm and accommodating staff truly make the stay pleasant, ensuring a welcoming experience.
AAndrewMy wife and I came to celebrate our anniversary with a spa day and as it was my birthday we decided to book the room for the night. We were absolutely amazed. Not only were the staff absolutely awesome, but they give us an upgrade plus free breakfast and when we got to the room we were greeted with rose petals on the bed, Welsh cakes on a slate and cards for our anniversary and birthday. All in all they really went out of their way and it made our stay absolutely incredible. I can’t thank the staff enough. We would highly recommend staying there
LLewisWasn't great mostly due to the fact that you had Taxi drivers outside beeping horns all hours of the night.
People fighting and shouting outside the hotel.
As well as the Fire alarm going off at about 10:40pm.
I had to check out by 04:50 Am to catch a train and I didn't get to sleep until about 2:30am
This hotel is however right next to Cardiff Central Station so perfect for Travelling by train. Which is why I booked here.
After explaining my stay to reception I asked for a bottle of water for my travels and it was given to me complimentary which I really appreciated.
The hotel Staff were polite and welcoming, however and the room was quite clean. TV didn't work however which is a shame.
TThismorningiwokeupinI stayed here for a business trip for one week. The room seemed to be clean but it is so dark that you can’t really tell if it is clean or not. That’s actually an issue - the lightening is bad. I couldn’t really work in the room since it had only a yellow ambient lightening and not a normal main source of light. The bathroom can be slightly cold if you don’t leave the door open so that warm air from the A/C can enter. It is shameful that they don’t have a breakfast included, especially for long stays in the hotel which is not so cheap and out of the center… at least one small sandwich would make things better, but nop 👎🏼. Another thing is that the area is not very nice. Unless you have to do something in that area, i don’t recommend you to stay. I was even told by taxi drivers to not walk around alone after it gets dark. Before I knew that, I did take a walk and it really felt a bit unsafe. The staff was ok, I didn’t have much contact with them. Only had an incident when I arrived - they couldn’t find me in their system (it was booked under other name by mistake but I actually changed it a week before arrival so I don’t know why they didn’t have updated information). There is a small gym, but almost all machines, except one, are for cardio exercises. Almost no restaurants or shops in the area.
GGuest UserWe arrived at Cardiff Central by train, which is 15mins walking to this Premier Inn. It was very welcoming and staff friendly, rooms clean, with as much tea and coffee, which you took from the travellers store at the main entrance. My only gripe is as I have dietary requirements, They couldn't cater for them and had to make do with what was on offer. No gluten free food at night, Only what I would call general burgers, lasagne, steak battered fish and chips. Only veg on offer was peas. In this day and age Hotels need to cater for a variety of people's health conditions. Vegan/vegetarians are not Gluten free or Ibs sufferers or Celiacs. Which are complicated problems. It would be helpful if they offered something which could be adapted. .
