"Great Pub in a good location. A little tlc was required in our room to make it closer to great. Not many plug sockets, all in the wrong places (sorry).
Staff fabulous, food good. Overall 3.6/5."
"Stayed here whilst visiting Chester. It was close enough to the park and ride that getting into the centre wad easy. We loved the room - massive bed, all the amenities we needed for a few nights. We took advantage of the spa too - which was lovely. It was quiet and relaxing!"
"Check in was very easy and hassle free with three members of staff checking guests in. We arrived well before check in time of 15:00hrs but no early check in rooms were available so we had to return later to check in.
Room size was adequate with comfy bed and quality pillows ensuring good rest.
Hotel is very clean and is well staffed, only downside is the location that its not walking distance to the city centre but this is not a deal breaker due to parking at this hotel being a lot easier on the outskirts of the city centre."

"Checking in at the main Oddfellows hotel was smooth but it would have helped to have the exact address of the apartment in advance, so we could park more easily. There is one parking space at the apartment but it is a tight entrance!
Apartment 5 was upstairs and very spacious. The lounge/kitchen/diner was well set up and the tea and coffee available was very welcome. Bedrooms and bathrooms were large, comfy and clean (but could do with a few hooks for towels or coats). There is even a laundry room. Decof is quirky and the location is great - just off the main streets. Fabulous place to stay."
"I thought it would only take 5 minutes to get there, but it ended up taking 20 minutes in the rain.
I found out that the agency platform charges about 30% more.
The community hotel has no elevator, so I had to carry my luggage up by myself.
Then I found out that the room was so small that I couldn't unfold my suitcase to take things.
The breakfast was a typical British breakfast, which was enough to fill my stomach.
What I couldn't accept was that there was no place to put my luggage after I checked out, and they said they were not responsible for the safety of my luggage. No one looked after my luggage, which was really unexpected.
Finally, the old lady suggested taking my suitcase to a locker at the station and spending a few dollars to store it. The actual result was that Chester Station didn't have this service. I was stunned!
There are two other hotels 3 minutes away from the station, such as Lloyd Hotel, which is better, and the actual price is about 55~60 pounds."
"Great Hotel, with lovely rooms ( I tad dated for some tastes). Service was first class, with a lovely meal in the brasserie eaten. Breakfast is high standard with good old table service, the brasserie is a lovely room for meals. Wife had a massage in the spa, which was one of the best she had had!
Car park near Hotel, cases taken to room, staff very friendly and more than happy to help.
Location right in the middle of Chester for close access to shops, Bars and restaurants
Only Negative, Breakfast could have been hotter. And added service charges to bill automatically.
Drinks are very expensive, but to be expected for a 5 start Hotel "
"Close to the hotel in Chester, there is an open free parking lot that is very convenient, the room is clean, the bed is very comfortable, but the hotel does not have an elevator to carry your luggage upstairs, and the toilet flush in the room is sometimes weak. It is worth mentioning that the breakfast is very delicious."

Great
GGuest UserLovely fully equipped apartment. Was surprised to see such a gem just 5 mins away from the city centre. Endless supply of coffee, hot chocolate and water from the reception, and fresh Croissant provided for breakfast.
This can be for long or short stays as it has all required kitchen equipment. The air conditioner works really well, iron, ironing board, a safe for keeping items, and multiple wall socket points.
Parking is £10 overnight and wifi with good strength.
A study/work table is also available .
Truly loved it and can't wait to stay here again
GGuest UserLocation is spot on if you are looking for a hotel near to train station, literally just outside of the station.15 minutes walk to main chester centre
Only concern was the toilet seat, unsafe, wiggled, not fit to the bowl
SSummerTThe hotel is very modern and tidy. When I checked in, the front desk staff was explained clearly and politely. Also, provide a welcome drink of coffee or fruit tea.
GGuest UserLovely last minute get away.
The canal view room was spacious.
Lovely hotel, the staff were super friendly and helpful.
The pool and spa facilities were excellent.
The food in the restaurant at night was delicious.
Will definitely be going back.
GGuest UserA little piece of heaven! The room was very comfortable, well designed and with lovely nautical features throughout. On arrival, parking was excellent, friendly helpful staff, within minutes we were sat by the window, overlooking the fast flowing river, being entertained by the wildlife whilst enjoying a well earned drink after a nearly three hour drive! Location was perfect, breakfast, a joy! A birthday treat for my special girl which couldn't of been better, we will return.
GGuest UserExcellent service from reception when we arrived to Raffael in the bar/restaurant and all the other staff were helpful and cheerful.
Food was excellent, we had a full meal one night and bar snacks the following night and everything was tasty and well presented.
GGuest UserMy husband had a broken bone in his leg we where booked a room on the first floor. When he saw us he arranged for our room swap, offered us tea and coffee whilst we waited for this to be arranged. All staff were very professional and courteous offering to take our bags to the room. We will plan another trip as we were unable to use the facilities.
GGuest UserBrilliant location, lovely old building.
The fold out beds for kids are uncomfortable (worse than the ones at travel lodge or premmier inn).
Don't bother with breakfast! Kept running out of things and didn't always replace them. Bacon inedible, sausages cheap, no nlack pudding even though it's on the menu and small portions.
I would stay again but wouldn't add breakfast
Llilythe service apartment is clean. It is close to the city centre. The rooms are big and comfortable. The kitchen is nice. I am sure that I will book this hotel again and highly recommend to my friends.
GGuest UserThis is a very traditional hotel. It has a very good leisure centre (so don’t forget your swim suit).
The hotel has a large bar area which is very comfortable and the prices reasonable.
There is a large free car park.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
