"Stayed on a visit to the Golden Triangle (approximately 3 km away) and enjoyed a clean, comfortable albeit basic room with a balcony overlooking the Mekong River and Laos. Check in was efficient and courteous. Exceptional value for money particularly given breakfast was included. For dinner a number of restaurants are within walking distance. We selected and dined at Come Moon (300 m away) and had a tasteful sashimi and fish dinner to the accompaniment of a good musical trio incorporating saxophone, guitar and drum. Strongly recommended."
