GGuest UserAccommodation prices in Taiwan are very expensive, so choosing a youth hostel is a good choice. This is the best experience among the youth hostels I stayed in Taiwan. Although it is a youth hostel, the accommodation space is very spacious and the environment is very clean.

But there is still room for improvement in care, such as: when guests check in, remind guests to dowload contact first (avoid careless guests). Because after we checked out, the room key has been handed over and we cannot enter and exit freely. When we returned to pick up and store our luggage, we pressed three times and no one opened the door. When we were busy, we saw a reminder phone number by the door. After receiving it, the friendly woman immediately responded and opened the door for us to catch and get on the train.

JJundeThe service staff is friendly and polite. The room is clean, bright and spacious. There are also tea sets in the room, which is very stylish. The breakfast selection is diverse and not repeated for two days. However, the sound insulation is not good. If there are parents and children living next door, the crying sound is quite obvious.

RREASONPEIJust two weeks later, when I arrived in Chiayi, I chose to stay at Guanko Hotel again. The price was very good compared to the cleanliness of the room and the richness of the breakfast. Although the hotel is some distance away from the Wenhua Road Night Market, if you have your own transportation, Guanko Hotel is still a good accommodation choice.

GGuest UserIf you drive, don't stay at this hotel. Parking is very expensive. The parking lot next to it costs 560 nt$ for one night. This is the most expensive parking fee I have ever paid. The hotel does not provide bottled water, and there is no place to fill water. Buying water costs 80 nt$, which is not cheap. There is nothing else. It is basically consistent with the introduction. The bathroom is small, the room is OK, clean and sanitary.

KKenix NganI recently stayed and had an exceptional experience. The hotel's location is ideal, situated in the heart of Night market, making it convenient to explore popular attractions, dining spots, etc.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The check-in process was smooth, and they provided excellent recommendations for local activities.
The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with modern decor and a relaxing ambiance. My room was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a comfortable bed and high-speed internet.
Overall, my stay is exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting here and looking for a blend of convenience, comfort, and excellent service.

DDelonXDFirst I was supposed to give 2 stars because when we arrive at hotel, they only accept cash in twd dollar as we thought already paid via online. So, it caused us to paid more compared to online as the exchange rate. We dunno why they wanted us paid first via online and then refund to us after the day check out. This will make the process too complicated. This hotel was so traditional even no online payment & maybe doesn't have debit card too?
Honestly, the hotel was really nice looking & clean as the pic shown. The toilet look good but the bathroom door was so so old and rushed cannot close. The bed was strangely & weirdly comfortable but it sounds of spring so so noisy when we moving around the bed. This must be changed because senior or someone not comfortable with hard bed should not booking this hotel!!! The aircon work well but at night it automatically closed down. Maybe save electricity or something as thought we didn't set anything??
This hotel provided buffet at morning (6.30 - 8.30am) such as toast, rice and porridge. It so nice since this hotel was budgeted compared to other which more expensive. However, we dunno why they set the time so earlier in the morning should be until 11 am or 12 pm. Who will wake up in that time?? Maybe people cannot sleep that time or something else. I 100 % sure that the foods will be leftover.
The service was well...ok nothing to comments. The overall still budgeted hotel & the location from train station was so near, the Wen Hua night market was so near about 800 meter.
We still NOT STRATIFICATION with this hotel !!!!

GGuest UserI had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from Chiayi Train Station, with 小北百貨 and a 7-11 nearby. The staff were friendly and attentive—they kindly allowed us to store our luggage both before check-in and after check-out, which made our trip much easier. They also went out of their way to prepare extra pillows when we requested them, and had them ready by the time we returned from dinner.
The buffet breakfast offered a variety of western and ********* options. While the food was decent, it was filling enough to start our day. The hotel is also within a 15-minute walk to the night market, making it easy to explore local food and shops.
My family and I stayed here both before and after our trip to Mt. Ali, and we even extended our stay due to a typhoon. We felt well-rested and enjoyed our time. When double beds weren’t available, the staff combined two single beds, creating a spacious and comfortable sleeping arrangement. We truly appreciated this thoughtful touch. I’d definitely recommend this hotel for its convenience, warm service, and comfortable accommodations!

GGuest User很好的體驗，首次到訪入住1晚，房間佈置很溫馨，床品軟硬適中，個人很喜歡！服務人員親切友善，早餐雖然種類不多，但該有的都有，且提供的粥品味道不錯，位置離夜市也不會太遠，隔音還可以，超級安靜，第二晚因有活動所以入住的房客比較多，環境整理的部分還滿貼心的，新備品，當天早餐因未取用水果，床頭燈具的木頭框框似乎不在打掃範圍內，故有些灰塵，但瑕不掩瑜，是還會想要再訪的飯店
